Wow what else could you want. Your dream are real and you are off on a quest to find out what the man in the red robe is up too.
An interesting and original plot set in a snowy fantasy world. A great blend of fantasy and sci-fi. The graphics are clear and scenes wonderful to look at. No voice-overs. I don't feel it impacted the game play in any way.
There were some interactive items throughout. A bit of sleuthing needed as some items were tucked away in some unusual places. A good number of puzzles, some challenging.
I did find some hidden object scenes took to much time to get through as items were so obscure they were nearly impossible to find without using the hint button.
I had a great time playing this game and hope there will be more in this series.
Thumbs up.

I really liked this game. It just seemed to flow so well. The hand-drawn scenes were beautiful. Lots of quirky characters. Loved the 50's rebel with the guitar and the 70's hippie.
Good soundtrack; not overdone. Plenty of the things we expect in a HOPA, A nice variety of mini-games, puzzles and hidden objects. Hidden objects were clear and not over-crowded No over-click penalties and that is a plus for me.
Great hint button, "It did not give you the answer". It gave you a direction to go in so you could make your own discoveries. Trotting around was minimal and I found my way very easily from scene to scene. The journal was a life-saver on solving some of difficult puzzles. It took me a while to figure out the locker combination and then it all of a sudden hit me. I really like a challenge when it comes to the mini-games and puzzles.
A straight-forward game, familiar plot with a interesting twist. Enjoyed playing Motor Town and will play it again very soon.
Good work devs and thank you BFG for another wonderful game experience.
I recommend this game!

You really have to love hidden object games to play Deadly Voltage: Rise of the Invincible. I could not turn a corner without another hidden object scene. Way too much for me.
The music was ho hum. I don't mind jazz but that music loop became annoying. The graphs were good and the puzzles were challenging enough. Thank goodness for the skip button as I got bored with all the hidden object scenes and just wanted to get through the game so skipped some puzzles.
I have to agree with other posters, this game seemed to come out of the dusty vault of old timey HO games.
If you really like HO games you may like this one but I would wait for a DD before purchasing.
I don't recommend this game.

Death Pages: Ghost Library...not very many ghosts but a good deal of adventure.
A mad psycho and his hand puppet who steals their souls to live out tragic and fatal Shakespearean drama what more could you need.
The story is appealing and mini-games and puzzles a blend of easy to difficult. Wonderful jump map which eliminated all the running around and going between the three books.
A fantasy story with a wicked twist.

I have tried Time Management demos before but there seemed to be too much going on that I lost interest. I read the Big Fish reviews on this game and thought I would give this one a try. I was hooked about twenty minutes into the demo. I had a free game coupon and purchased it. What a wonderful game. It’s so addictive, fun, and who won't want to help King Ragnar save his kingdom and his daughters from the evil witch.
The graphic's in Northern Tale were impressive. Lots of things blowing up. Those Vikings can sure run fast, work non-stop and eat alot. I was getting tired watching them. I laughed when they danced and got a kick out of their funny murmurings. Get a repair completed and an ugly wasteland becomes a beautiful forest full of color.
I guess I can add Time Management/Strategy games to my game list and will be looking for more in the future.
Thanks to all the fishies for their great reviews as I depend on them when trying out a game.
I recommend this game!

Surface: The Soaring City has got to be the best HOPA ever.
The graphics are creatively drawn and the scenes are breathtaking and unique. A floating city in the sky. I would love to be able to soar to such a place. What imaginative gameplay.
The music complimented the story. The scenes were so well crafted and the voice overs wonderfully done. I always like live actors playing parts in these games. It really adds a special touch.
Wow, so many things to do and discover in each scene. Puzzles were unique and so much fun. Lots of imagination went into designing these puzzles. Even the hidden objects were done well. Good choice to make it more entertaining by having to use items you found in other areas to complete the puzzle.
The jump map was so welcomed as there was just so much going on, I would have gotten lost without it. Hint system was great as sometimes I just got suck and needed a helping hand for my next move.
What a great idea to add the Philanthropy area and use the flowers to restore areas in the floating island. Smart.
Well, to me there are not enough stars for this wonderful and imagination game. I can not wait to play it again. Love the Surface Series.
Thank you devs and Big Fish.
I recommend this game!

Reality Show: Fatal Shot, an excellent adventure game. No hidden object scenes to add fluff time to the game. I do not mind if the game is short for lack of hidden objects.
The ambiance of the game was suitably creepy. The story moved from scene to scene smoothly. Scenes submersed you into a dark, cold, gray almost empty city. The quirky rabbit vagrant was a humorous and entertaining. The creepy little clown face man was at first confusing but I got used to him popping up now and again. Didn't know what his role would be in the game.
The puzzles were challenging and thoughtful. Some of them took a bit of my time to complete. I like that. Not a fan of the music, turned it off at times, but it did suit the overall game play.
A clever "who-dun-it" story. I will be playing this one again and again.
I recommend this game!

I loved the series when it was on television and was happy to see Jessica and Cabot Cove again. What fun to help solve these three mysteries. A wonderful, breath of fresh air and enjoyable sleuthing.
The visuals were breathtaking and sharp. It was easy to navigate through the scenes. The hidden objects were fun and finding the hidden vowels, for extra hints, is very clever.
The Murder She Wrote music in the background was spot on and the willingness of the suspects to commit to the murder was so on with the television series.
I enjoyed the first, and the second was no exception. I hope there will be a number three.
Thanks Big Fish for bringing us such light-hearted and entertaining games to play.
I recommend this game!

The atmosphere of the game, with it's gray tones, is quite haunting . I really had the sense I was in a dream. Probably the developer's intent not to be ghoulish but surreal as dreams tend to be. The cut-scenes had that same affect.
The story line was interesting dealing with making right the transgressions of dead family members. Story length was about six hours for me as I am not an advanced player. Standard Hidden Objects scenes with objects easy to find. Puzzles were designed to create some thought. I really like that.
Game would have benefited with a jump map. However, the backtracking was not tedious since the hint button will take you to the next task location.
I really enjoyed this game. Great fun for a rainy weekend.
I recommend this game!

I thought this game was excellent. So many puzzles to solve and spectacular artwork. The shadows and lights reflected off of surfaces and floors pulled me deeper into the scene. The voice overs were done well. There were so many scenes and so much to do in each one of them. A beautifully crafted game. I liked that the hidden objects were all items you had to use to progress in the game instead of a list of useless items that do not have anything to do with the game except add time to it.
The only reason I gave this game four stars instead of five was that I felt:
1. a jump map would have been helpful
2. the puzzle information could have been better written.
3. the hints could have been clearer..."there is an item on the wall next to the stairs"....well, there are stairs all over the island, does that mean I have to visit each scene to find the correct stairs? I was on the other side of the island and I got that as a hint.
I look forward to more games of this caliber from the developer. Except for a few hiccups, The Beast of Lycan Island is now one of my top favorites. I will be replaying this game again very soon.
I recommend this game!
