I am finding this rather enjoyable - tasks are varied, mini-games are fairly simple but spread out throughout a level (meaning not every customer is going to require a boring mini-game), the couple challenges I played are actually unique and challenging. I'm also enjoying the story line (key chain - whaaat?!!). Not sure what makes this a CE as I didn't have enough time to explore that aspect, but so far I recommend this game!
Did GrandMa Studios sweep up a whole bunch of fonts and scenery off the floor from ERS after the merge with Amax? It sure looks and feels that way. I try not to review after just a demo, but this game is pretty terrible. The story line is REALLY thin, everything is a puzzle for no apparent reason (ERS rises again), one fairly obvious morph per scene, uninspired HOS. On the plus side, scenes look hand-drawn, which is an effort.

This is just another game from a familiar developer. The scenery is lovely, but that's about it. The map is useless as it doesn't show available actions. The first puzzle made no sense and had almost no instructions. HO scenes are boring list-only searches. Story-line? Doesn't matter anymore as the game play is so terrible.
So the story line is pretty cute, Kudos for that. The game play is fine (how exciting can a match-3 be?) but the cost of upgrades is just ridiculous and makes this a no-buy for me. So the first helper (hammer) is only 9 dubloons - great!! But the next items are 21, 27, or even more expensive; as you can only earn 3 coins max per level, you do the math on how long that'll take. I don't get the developer's take on this at all, and it ruins the game for me.

So, really, when I look at this objectively, I'm split into two categories. If you're an old salt like myself that has seen this type of game (or in this case, this game again and again) for the past 15 + years, then it's terrible. We've seen it all before, bought the T-shirt, etc. However, if you are new to the genre,or Big Fish, or casual gaming in general, then Amax will deliver a visually gorgeous game that isn't too difficult and has a fairly decent story line to get and keep you interested.
So there you have it - enjoy all newcomers! Us old timers will sit on the front porch in our rockers waiting for BF to take some bigger and better chances. For now, I'm gonna shake my cane and yell "get off my lawn Puppetshow!"

I was thrilled to see a good picross offered but sadly, there is no story. It doesn't totally kill it for me, but that would have made this game so much better. As it is, why is it "Time Twins"? We only play as one character, so what's up with that? Were they separated? Do they operate together, working across time to solve a tear in the time/space continuum? Apparently not. It's just picross grids that build industrial items from the 19th and 20th centuries. Enjoyable but could have been so much better with a little thought.

This is a fabulous TM game that is not a standard building or resource collecting game but a mash-up of both with free will to do whatever, wherever and find hidden stashes along the way. But my ratings might be confusing so I'll say this : I took away 2 stars as it is actually VERY difficult after level 8 or so to complete the standard goals, never mind find the hidden goals, in Normal Mode. While I enjoy a good challenge and don't intend to sail through every level in this kind of game, I find this rather off-putting and many players will become frustrated trying over and over to complete the goals in time. Even in Easy Mode, levels after 15 are very challenging and need to be repeated multiple times just to complete in time.
That being said, I am thrilled to play this game but the Developers could surely have been a bit more generous with that time limit for the better enjoyment of all.

Absolutely NOTHING has changed about the gameplay in this series since it first debuted, what, 5 years ago? Maybe 6? And I mean NOTHING. Graphics and sound are still poor and sub-par which was true when this first came out and now it is just sad. Same sound effects. Same goals. Same obstacles. For goodness sake just avoid this completely.
Ya know, I enjoy a marble popper as much as the next guy, but this was just awful. Rather looked like my 6 year old nephews project - no story line, blah graphics, why even play this when you can replay much better games?
If you love Laruaville then this should really appeal to you. It is exactly the same game, put out by the same creators. The solitaire, hidden object and find the difference puzzles are totally worthless as you don't earn any coins for completing them in this game so I have no idea why they're even included. And then there is the total lack of instruction - I suppose the creators are assuming that we've played one of their games before. Yawn.
