Unlike the previous games in this series, this one is way too busy. It's not that I can't find items (although they were more difficult to find), but my eyes didn't care for over-the-top items placed in the scenes. Almost gave me a headache.
Another thing I have noticed: the music didn't play in the second scene. Don't know if it was only my copy, but there was no music, only background sounds in scene 2. This is the first time I don't recommend a "Christmas Wonderland" game.
The only thing I did like in this game was the background in which you can place items you buy in the shop. That was a lovely scene.

Review of the demo:
I love what I have played so far. It's a very relaxing game, and has really nice graphics.
I especially loved the last scene in the demo, the one on the farm, where you had to do more than just one thing to tick the items off. Love this type of HOG.
As HOGs go, this is a really nice one, much nicer scenes and less messy than many other standard HOGs.
I won't be buying the CE, but will get the Standard Edition when it's out.

I like all the games in this series, but number 6 has always been my favourite. Now number 13 is my favourite. The reason is that there is an additional item (Frosty) to look for, and when you buy things, they are now added to a landscape.
Two things: first: I always buy the CE, but won't do so in future. I have found that the scenes added in the CE are often not really part of the main story, e.g. the family goes on different excursions. And that's it. And the images aren't really festive either, just boring winter scenes.
second: I would appreciate it if the pieces in the jigsaw puzzles were NOT placed on the image itself. That's really off-putting for me, and I usually skip the jigsaws, because it takes ages to move all the pieces to the sides.

What a lovely surprise. A newly polished Christmas Wonderland game, which has some wonderful new things added to it, which makes the game soooo much more fun than the previous ones. Love having to find the extra Frosty, and love that I can now actually use the presents I buy to decorate the front of the house. Love it !! I also love that there are a variety of angels to be found rather than just one type, and many of the scenes are so much more fun as well.

I gave the game a go, and liked what I have played so far, a lot.
From time to time, you have to put your thinking cap on, and the tutorial at the beginning is very helpful, and necessary, so you get the hang of things. For example, you use your arrow keys to move little balls, and the space bar to jump over things. Sounds simple, but it's not all plain sailing, or rather rolling.
Don't just look at the images, and say "nah... not for me". Give the demo a go, and you might just like it.

Advertised as a HOG, but it's not. It's more of a puzzle game. Playing the demo: I liked the colours, and it was fun to do the very easy and often simple puzzles.
This is a really nice game, just not for me. The change over from one screen to the next is a tad slow, and the puzzles are a tad too simple for me.
Would have been nice if you could have added your name. Then you can start again with a different one, but there was no such choice.
This game is more for kids than adults, and it's not the kind of game that should come out as a CE, IMO.
I bought the CE, and enjoyed playing the game. I don't play a lot of Hidden Object Games any more, because they consist of just a dark colour scheme. This one has colours.
The story is the same old story - try finding something original, developers - but gameplay was fun. I especially liked the easy puzzles. I don't like most puzzles in HOGs, but these were fun to do.
Why can't we choose whether we want to have to go through the tutorial? Many of us have played this kind of game for years, and we don't want to go through the tutorial like a novice. Didn't like the shaking of cards in the first part of the game that tells me which cards I can take. I never say this about a game, but... this whole game appears to be directed at children rather than adults. The way things are explained, and the wizard keep talking to us every time we finish a level, makes me feel as if I am in a sanatorium where I have to be calmed down with soothing words. I don't miss the hidden object scenes - don't like them in card games - but I miss the extras like building a bridge and finding the wood behind the cards, and such. All in all an OK game, but it really feels like a kid's game. I do recommend it because, as card games go, it's good enough to play.

It seems that grandpa has had enough of his old gal, and traded her in for a younger version. Now grandma is unrecognisable and at least 20 years younger. But grandpa is still the same age. Really?
Game is OK, but not as much fun as the previous ones. I find the hidden objects harder to find in this game. As alsways, number 6 is still (and probably will always be) my favourite in the series.
