Didn't realize until after I'd bought it, that there is swearing. I wish Big Fish had a ratings system to tell us if swearing, innuendo, dark subject matter was part of their games.

When I started this one, I wasn't too sure about it. It isn't the usual TM type game - there isn't a time component to it at all. It's more of a RPG. You decide where to go. As new scenes open up, you can use the map to jump quickly back and forth. People everywhere have tasks for you to do. The more you do, the higher your fame. They pay you in gold and food. You have to constantly find somewhere to sleep (hearts needed for tasks), which is a small drawback to playing this one. The hardest part is finding all the little things: eggs, mushrooms, boxes - they are tiny and quite a challenge. The storyline is that you are looking for the robbers who have kidnapped your dad; then you find out the robbers are working for a dark wizard who is the final boss. The fights really aren't fights - you just have to have all the supplies needed (food, hearts, men, weapons) for that particular fight. Once I got started, and figured out how this game worked, I had a blast.
I recommend this game!

This series is the best I've found. All 3 games are worth the price. I did like the 2nd one best. Plenty of challenge - you have to decide what to build and where. The time element really makes you think ahead. I really liked the added towers, so that you didn't have to keep bashing dinosaurs. I still have secrets I can't find! I'm really hoping the dev. continues the series, even though it was only supposed to be a trilogy!
I recommend this game!

The second one is as good as the first. I like the challenge of these. The graphics are just gorgeous. This one is a brain teaser and can be quite a challenge - especially if you are trying to get all the bonuses.

I can't seem to do most of these type of puzzles - I can do this one! There is quite a range of variation: from 1-4 colors; rotating puzzles; keys to unlock them. You can add "friends" so that you can send and receive lives to keep going. I can play for hours, even with all the mistakes I make. I haven't paid to play this one. The only drawback so far, is I've gotten to the highest level, and I've been waiting over a month for the dev to add more levels. This one is a fun brain teaser.

I really liked this one. It's a challenge. I would have given it 4.5 stars if possible. The downside to this one - it's really hard to find everything. And for the best ending, you have to find everything. It gets hard on your eyes. Before you start, make a chart so that you can write down each island as you get to them. There are 21 gems in 7 different colors (3 of each) - it really helps to keep track of what you've found. That way at you know if you are looking for a blue or red for that last gem. There are 3 different endings.
I recommend this game!

This game is along the lines of: Roads of Rome; Kingdom for a Princess; Island Tribe. You collect resources and build stuff to complete the goals. There is a troll that does magic spells: replenish resources; work faster; etc. If let's you stack jobs, so you don't have to wait for your workers to get back home before you can click on the next task. Twist: you get to dress your gremlins and your troll. I'm enjoying watching the gremlins work. I've played several hours. The levels get harder as you go. I'd consider this as a family game, 8 and up. Not dark or creepy.
I recommend this game!

It's Hallowe'en characters in a game like: Promised Land; Gemini Lost; Adelantado. They have to collect food, wood, coins. I've played several hours, and am still having fun. Even though everyone is dead, this game isn't creepy. Easy enough for the pre-teens to play. I'd consider this one a family game.
I recommend this game!

I usually avoid the "free" games, as they are usually a trap to get you to spend real money. I decided to try this one, hoping for something that would be playable for my 4 y/o granddaughter. This game is a total surprise - I'm having a good time!
The game basics are easy enough for the K-2 range. I've been playing for 4 days now, and haven't found anything that "must" be paid for with real money. Everything does take time, and so needs patience.
If you are looking for a game to challenge a 4-7 y/o, this is a must. I rated it on adult standards. If I was rating it for children - I'd give it all 5 stars.
I recommend this game!

Not a bad game, on the short side. Some of the objects are hard to find, but the hint recharges quickly. Some of the puzzles took me a bit to figure out - the instructions leave a bit to be desired. Storyline was a bit lacking. I bought this one on sale - suggest you do the same. It did give me something to do for about 4 hours.
