I was happy to see you kept the interactive swamp creatures, adorable dog, and added new fun interactive creatures and creative environment adds. I appreciated that you allowed scoring on relaxed. The wildcard flower holes were a nice surprise. Quality testing (no issues all the way through). Will look forward to the next one.
It doesn't matter how many times I play through them all every so often, I never tire of them. They were excellently done, the beauty and creative variety of scenes. All the little details tells me someone/many cared during development/testing to create a high quality, delightful game (ALL the sequels). Too many adorables to list, but so cool the way the scenery turns to gorgeous when you rid all of "dark" characters and objects. There are so many cute animals, humorous situations, it's just a sincere pleasure. I will always play untimed so I can appreciate all the little things. Would definitely recommend and developers, I will buy sight unseen any Northern Tales sequels you come up with AND I would pay much more if cost is an issue to develop.
I recommend this game!

I didn't much care at all for the first 2 Toy Defense games, but THIS one is great. As soon as I started playing it, I realized that it plays just like Garden Defense which was VERY addictive and really hard, required playing over and over to learn right strategy, I am very much looking forward to another Garden Defense and Toy Defense. This game is well done, and really requires some strategy for defender types and placement as well as which upgrades to choose when with not enough money soon enough. The upgrades fun to watch in action and creative - you can't wait to see what it does. In the next one, please allow us to upgrade the defender during battle more often when we have the money to do so, otherwise we won't ever get to see what some of them do and we want to see! But I get you have to keep it challenging as well. Thank you developers for a well-thought out and fun game.
My first impression didn't do this game justice, it is really very creative; the various creatures, the spaceship randomly picking up wildlife, the way the owl and binocular guy looks right at you, the cute way the "kidnapped" put their heads down when their help signs don't work right away, etc. One of the main reasons I like the Roads of Rome and Northern Tales games is the creativity and details put into the different scenes. Again, because I always play in Relax so I can appreciate these things, I play to beat my score and this one doesn't give a score on Relax (please allow that on the next one I hope you do). Great game developers.
I didn't think I would like this game, but out of desperation for another fun game, played the demo. I love that it is not timed, to be quickly successful does require some strategy, fun to play, have played it over and over wishing there were double the number of restaurants and maybe some additional floor space and restaurant-applicable recipes, etc. Appreciated the game, thanks developers.
I am a big fan of the Roads of Rome, Northern Tales series, so first, thank you for coming out with another one. This is a different spin on Roads of Rome although as someone said, the fawn, moose, owl, ducks, fox are there but could not find the cute hamster(s). The hidden caches and general theme is there. Once I got used to it, it's quite fun. However, I have ONE big issue. I play these games in RELAX mode because I want to enjoy the scenery and little details, interact with the animals, etc. and not be stressed trying to beat a clock, but I DO WANT a SCORE! I try to beat my top score each time, part of the fun. Why are you NOT allowing for a score just because someone is in RELAX mode. Roads of Rome does not behave that way. Other than that, it was creatively re-invented and a lot of fun.
Storm Tale and Storm Tale 2 are fun, the cannons are a cute twist, especially since you can get the match you need if you think it through. These 2 were better than expected and well done.
I was intrigued by another review saying it was not just another match-3 game and they had waited for this sequel to come out. It IS quite different and creative. It was addictive from the start, so bought the game to move forward. Twists and turns and twists and turns, where am I going now? Now what? Long-playing adventure with a different spin on matches and "fights" and objectives. Now compelled to play the first cave quest.

The Northern Tales games (all of them) are incredibly fun to me. I play them over and over in sequence, not tired of them yet. The beauty and attention to detail (and cute little animals) are a delight. I play with no timer so I can truly appreciate each scene, fun, especially the more difficult ones. I wish there were more levels in each because they are so creative, require strategy of resources (have a plan). No scenes or sequels the same. Congratulations on the creativity and originality of these. If you had 12 more sequels would buy them all.
