For those of us loyal lovers since the beginning of MCF, since Return to Ravenhearst, nothing has even come close to the unique and varied and fun play with just enough everything along the same vein. Been waiting a long time. Finally, great great job. Very clever blending all the good of the past with new, just enough of everything, variety and plenty of HO and not forever complicated picking up, back and forth ad-nauseum use of inventory. It is perfect for this MCF fan, thoughtful and clever as I said. Thank you!!!
Yes, this is a children's or young-at-heart theme. But, it is beautifully done, like Disney wow! Creative, wonderfully colorful. The characters and their animated movements, antics adorable and fun. I purchased this game to reward the developers because I believe they certainly earned it with this delightful special Christmas game.
I decided to trial after reading the reviews that this was off the beaten path and well done. I agree that the character interaction may bother some people but I was so delighted at the uniqueness, creativity of puzzles and yes, even HOs, that I wanted to keep playing and bought after the demo. The theme is dark and sinister, but not scary and kept in good taste, just fun and different. Challenges not too hard, just fun to figure out. I am sure they cannot produce games fast enough, like movies, so hard not to keep producing cookie-cutter games, no matter the quality, so kudos to whoever was able to morph their brains to come up with this creative variation of story, inventory, HOs, puzzles.
When I first read reviews about the amount of talking/character interaction, I thought I would not like this, but good reviews intrigued me to try. For me, the character talking and interaction not a problem at all, kind of fun, well done I thought. Different, creative from the seeming cookie-cutter games of late, fun HO, mini-games and cute little extras; I have really enjoyed playing it, much to my surprise, purchased it. I would certainly recommend playing the free trial.
At first, this appeared easy and cute; but, many hands definitely a challenge, thank goodness for the casino, nice addition. Fun and found it a bit addictive, cute theme.
What constitutes the perfect combination in a game for each individual, with varied like and dislikes? For me, this game was a very nice surprise. Fun and a little dark storyline, nice graphics, locations, plenty of fun and unique enough mini-games and HOs. Not to much going back and forth; fairly quick use of inventory, loved the creative use of animals and creatures (Island of Dr. Moreau?). Great, enjoyable game in my opinion!
I love the Jewel Quest Solitaires and keep addictively playing to beat my own scores; it is challenging, incorporates Jewel Quest, and encourages, rewards strategic thinking and play. Yes, the luck of the draw matters, but strategy matters a lot. These solitaire games are unforgiving, have played some hands quite a few times before being successful. The only thing that I do not care for is having to turn squares silver before turning gold, almost too impossible on some given number of chances. Very good and fun game!
I recommend this game!

Lapland Solitaire
Can you help the elves through all 200 levels? Collect enough chocolate coins to build Lapland in time for Christmas!
I really liked this game; not hard, but not too easy. Addictive play for me that flowed smoothly with pretty graphics and story tied in just enough as a quick break in between.
Very well done; nice offshoot of Jewel Quest. It is a quality game, challenging (sometimes had to play the same level game a few times trying different strategies), but not overly brain damaging. Wild card strategy important, so fun. Enjoyed how they incorporated jewel quest in each. I figured it out, but I wish the help would have explained what each wild card type meant (maybe I missed it), important to strategy. Good twist on solitaire. Graphics nice too.
