I was intrigued by another review saying it was not just another match-3 game and they had waited for this sequel to come out. It IS quite different and creative. It was addictive from the start, so bought the game to move forward. Twists and turns and twists and turns, where am I going now? Now what? Long-playing adventure with a different spin on matches and "fights" and objectives. Now compelled to play the first cave quest.

The Northern Tales games (all of them) are incredibly fun to me. I play them over and over in sequence, not tired of them yet. The beauty and attention to detail (and cute little animals) are a delight. I play with no timer so I can truly appreciate each scene, fun, especially the more difficult ones. I wish there were more levels in each because they are so creative, require strategy of resources (have a plan). No scenes or sequels the same. Congratulations on the creativity and originality of these. If you had 12 more sequels would buy them all.
I recommend this game!

Gardens Inc. 2: The Road to Fame
Jill & Mike’s gardening company has taken off in Sunnyvale, and they need your help to make their business soar! Help them win a contest and earn lucrative contracts from all over the world!
The vandals (too many coming constantly) destroying everything you were working like crazy to build (with limited resources) finally made me bail on Gardens Inc 2 (even though I purchased the series). Some people may find the vandals challenging, but it took the fun out of it for me. Roads of Rome did that with earthquakes but the resources were more easily recoverable. I would kind of like not to have to redo something it took forever to build because my eyes couldn't keep up with building and too many vandals at the same time. Other than that, Gardens 4 was great and so far Gardens 3 fun.

Northern Tale 4
Unravel the web of intrigues against the Vikings and bring peace to their lands!
If you liked Roads of Rome (original and new generation) series, then you will like this. Accidentally found and realized the Northern Tale series was what I was looking for. All good, but THIS #4 in particular: beautiful and varied scenes above and below water, imaginative creativity, downright hilarious and delightful surprises like the baby dragon, Gillman, the little hamster always under the shield and many more. So many varieties of creative features and characters. The only thing in the game series I didn't like was those annoying stumps that kept popping up, creative but not fun, argh. But if that is the only thing that wasn't perfectly enjoyable, that is saying a lot! I would definitely recommend this game.

All Roads of Rome games good and fun, wish there were more and longer playing because I enjoy them so much. Also enjoy Royal Envoy games. Most important to me in these games is that they have a RELAX mode. Dog, snowman, mermaid man, stone man, weather effects, different environments, cute extras entertaining. Had to employ strategy and thinking ahead of time, nice job creators.

It had 4 stars but was unsure, however, when some of the more negative reviews say too many HO, that usually means not a bad overload of inventory and more quickly used. I like a lot of HO and minimal inventory, quickly used, without running around the universe a hundred times back and forth to use way too much inventory. So I liked this game and would recommend to others who like the same. Return to Ravenhearst and Madame Fate are my absolute favorites but now cannot play return to ravenhearst because wide screen doesn't work on later windows and wish it were upgraded, hint.

In it's category, this game is well done. Unlike some others, when you play the same scene, objects are moved around each time and you must pay attention when see 2 of something for the find pairs. It also gives interesting information on special objects found (fun trivia twist).

Hard to find something a little different to pass the time with everyone holed up. This is fun and done well enough to want to keep playing, just bought the game. Appreciate BFG keeping everything going during challenging times.
