Not sure why this is Hidden Object when there are none!

I thought this game would be a good murder mystery. Then the story-line soon devolved into nonsense. The main character is quite snarky and I get enough of that rudeness in real life. The worst was that there were no hidden object scenes, just lots of "mini-games" with a nonsensical story-line to attempt to tie them together. The mini games were all puzzles of the mechanical type and I hate them, I find a lot of them frustrating and so I found myself longing for a hidden object choice, like some games will let you choose between hidden object or match 3 etc. Puzzle or hidden object would have been great for I play games to relax and hidden objects are fun and relaxing while puzzles of this type take too much brain power for me to find them fun or relaxing. However, I was able to solve several puzzles and that shows you how simplistically this game is thrown together. Most of the time I just hit skip A LOT! After a time the story-line was all over the place so I hit hint A LOT! Therefore I think this should be classified as a hint and skip game - certainly not a hidden object one!

I am not quite sure what to make of this game. It began as a mystery, I love mysteries! Then it morphed into science fiction, science fiction and I do not mix. However, it had great hidden object scenes and the puzzles were fun. It is a nice long game with many hidden object scenes and many puzzles. There is a lot of moving about and I have no sense of direction in life or in games so I quickly got lost and was ever so glad for the map. This is one of 'those' where you go through several scenes and complete several tasks and then end up having to backtrack. The map had I think 6-8 scenes on it per page and was four pages long I believe. I quickly forgot at scene nine what I was suppose to do with the thing I was looking for that ended up an activity back at scene three! Even at the end when you play the extra chapter there are times when it sends you back to the first board of scenes if not the very first scene itself. Like I said, by then the incoherent storyline was lost on me and I just clicked the map where it said I had an activity and enjoyed the hidden object scene or puzzle or whatever I was to do there. If I hadn't clicked on the extras I would not have known there was a 'secret room' I could access, so I'm saying so others will know. At it end it congratulates me and says I can access the x-files now, and I was like "what now we go paranormal? Alright!!!" but unfortunately I could find no more to do so I guess that was an attempt at humor. A very strange, but fun game for I had a good time just following the map even though I was totally at a loss about the game and the story and whether or not I had actually finished it. At least it was many nights entertainment instead of just a few hours as they have been of late. I think you might find this game fun.....strange....but fun.
I recommend this game!

I saved the world in the most interesting way. Alchemists, a golem, ghosts...you can't get much better. The only thing I would wish is more atmospheric creepiness and a bit better story-line. Otherwise this games is great. Usually with these type of games I wander lost....and at least with this one I was only lost a few times and most of my activities made sense according to what I was doing in the game. As some say, sometimes the older games are better. This one was great fun for me! Give it a try!
I recommend this game!

Nothing noticeably different. Has it really been redone or is this just another attempt to get more $$$? It's the same game, the same actions, the same story and since I have already been there and done that, it is very boring. Graphics and sound seem same as well, it leaves one wondering what exactly was remastered. Don't waste your time or money with this one!
I don't recommend this game.

This was a pretty good game. I like the ghost and medium story-line, I just wish it were a bit better. At times I didn't feel the tasks and the ghosts coherently went along with the story and were just stuck in there. I don't understand why all adventure games must contain only puzzles where Hidden Object Adventures don't just contain hidden object scenes but puzzles too! And I do wish the puzzles went along with what you were doing and the tasks at hand. This one did sometimes and for that I give it a plus. All in all it was one of the better games I've played on Big Fish.
I recommend this game!

You wander and you wonder, 'I picked up this piece yesterday, now what was I supposed to do with it?' or 'I know I was hunting for something, what was it?' or 'Now where was that place where I was supposed to use this?' and way too many puzzles which end up being skipped, frustrating that a hidden object adventure would have so many puzzles! I hate these kind of puzzles. I want hidden objects. The storyline is only mediocre at best and I think there were a couple of inconsistencies in there. I don't know whatever possessed me to buy this entire series? A Mind Invasion?
I don't recommend this game.

Puzzles, Puzzles, and more puzzles! And I prefer hidden object scenes many times over. I don't have much play time and the story line wasn't enough to keep my attention. I found myself lost and wandering and just when I felt like I was getting back into the game my 'playtime' would be up only to start over lost the next evening. I hate it when they are like that, more of an interactive story than a game. The puzzles I found frustrating to the max and probably skipped over half of them, giving up out of frustration or I'd still be sitting here playing a game I am not particularly enjoying. But we all have different tastes, mine run dark and spooky which this was not and hidden objects over puzzles any day which this also was not. Glad it is over is all I can say.
I don't recommend this game.

But, then the story line went downhill fast and I quickly had no idea what I was supposed to do to the point where I looked up a walkthrough and it became more of an interactive story (i.e. a lot of cheating) and not much of a game. When gaming wandering around lost and clueless is no fun. And as always I wish there were far less puzzles and far more hidden object scenes!
I don't recommend this game.

I would have changed my career ages ago! I really enjoyed this game because it was mostly HOs! The story line was not great but the Hidden Object Scenes were and the fact that the game was mostly Hidden Object scenes with and occasional puzzle thrown in was a bonus for me. I wish more games were like it. I found the video game to play pretty fun, saving the people from a burning building. If you click the question mark when you are done playing the game then you get the hidden object scenes mirrored to play and I couldn't believe how hard that was, looking at everything "backwards", a nice twist. I can see I'm in the minority here but so be it. Big Fish let's you try before you buy so give it a try and see what you think.
I recommend this game!

This Mahjong game has a few unique twists that make it quite fun! I found it very nice. The tiles were easy to read. And, while the music was the usual game equivalent of elevator music it wasn't too annoying. Ready for a nice relaxing fun time? Then give this a try!
