This is a nice Hidden Object mostly game. You need to fight off the evil elves at your old school, the Abra Academy. Not really much story but very few puzzles for a nice change. And, the hidden object scenes were great! (I wish we could get some Hidden Object Adventure games without any puzzles Big Fish, if you are listening.)
I enjoy Hidden Object games very much. I would love it if there were Hidden Object Adventure games with no puzzles! I think this comes as close to that as you are going to get. It is Hidden Object scene after Hidden Object scene. The story line/adventure lacks and is simplistic, you are to graduate from the Abra Academy by completing Hidden Object scenes. Better than many newer games. Fun! Enjoy!
I found this game a bit strange, as in ***(SPOILER ALERT!!!) you have to blow up a dinghy to move a crate?*** Who would do that in real life? Then, to add insult to injury about a quarter of the way through the game it quit working, would just close. I asked Big Fish for help and was told the game was too old to play on my windows 11 or 10 computers (perhaps even xp, I can't remember if that one was included) and in order to get it to play it would break my computer??? So, it begs to question, did the 'help' people not really know what they were talking about, or is Big Fish knowingly selling a game they know will no longer work on most Windows computers out now??? I next contacted the developer and they said they were no longer offering support for this game because it was so old. Why is it still here???????

As you make matches each puzzle layout (why cards and not mahjong tiles?) scrolls across the screen, if it hits the left side before you have finished you lose. This means you have to be watching and matcing cards as they are scrolling. I HATE scrolling things, they are hard on my eyes and give me a headache. If you finish a layout it releases balloons that are then going UP the screen for you to pop, now you have things scrolling across as well as up and down, I HATE scrolling things, it messes with my eyes and gives me a headache. For me the constant movement totally ruins any "fun factor" this game may have had. I like to play these types of games to relax, not to get nauseous. A total zero for me, not recommended at all.
Just seems like there should be more to this game!

I was sick when I played this so that could have affected my mood, but I didn't find this near as fun as Haunted Manor Queen of Death which I thought was first in this series?? I wish they had a way to tell the order the series were made in...
Anyway, you just go from room to room through a mirror/portal and you play hidden object puzzles galore. The Hidden Object part of this game was good although when you play a scene the second time it seems like you were looking for a lot of the same stuff.
I rated the visual/sound quality as poor for it didn't seem to have much pizzazz to it. And I checked my settings, trying to make sure it wasn't operator error, but I found the music to be nonexistent. I love music and I think it lends much to the mood.
I think because of having played Queen of Death first I was expecting much more from this one. When someone pointed out to me how this was like the older hidden object games like Mystery Case Files Titanic (which is one of my faves) I then stopped waiting for "more" and just played and began to enjoy it more. (I was also feeling better, which I am sure helped:)
I thought that since you went from room to room through a portal you would never get to backtrack and see the scenes again, but you do. At the end you revisit every room and get to play another hidden object scene to collect items you need to finish. I prefer that to running around like an idiot trying to collect things.
All in all, while it wasn't a bad game and was a bit fun, I felt something was lacking overall and finishing it in a short amount of time left me thinking again that this game just needs something more.
This game had great scenery and a great atmosphere. It was fun wandering around and the hidden object scenes were good. I especially liked how at the end intead of running around like mad collecting something, you got to revisit each scene and do a hidden object puzzle. This game was well put together and enjoyable enough to be played over and over.
Don't EVER give a mahjong player unsolvable levels!!!

I thought this game was really fun at first and I am an adult. I thought some of the layouts were unusual, and with all the Mahjong I have played that is a good thing. Then it was all ruined for I played the classic levels and there are not one, but two levels that are unsolvable!!! If I hadn't thought to check the forums I would probably still be sitting here stuck on the first one today....if I could, I'd throw this game down the rabbit hole!!!
There was something wrong with the vaccine! So I began playing this game after I got my flu shot, for that seemed fitting:) It was pretty fun EXCEPT....If you wish to release a game in America and English is not your native language, why not hire and American to translate? To quote from the game "it will come on handy" and probably get you higher ratings and more purchasers too!

This game grabbed me from the start, beautiful backgrounds and a delicious atmosphere. Loved the animations especially the turning older, getting younger...reminded me of wolf man movies. The game made sense, I didn't find myself getting lost or wandering or left trying to figure out what to do next. Loved how at the end you revisit where you've been but with a twist. (Though I do wish someone would make a game that would let you wander through it once you are done so you can see it all, instead of kicking you out to the beginning of a new game.) I spent three or four nights playing this, well worth your money. Very visually appealing.
