This game grabbed me from the start, beautiful backgrounds and a delicious atmosphere. Loved the animations especially the turning older, getting younger...reminded me of wolf man movies. The game made sense, I didn't find myself getting lost or wandering or left trying to figure out what to do next. Loved how at the end you revisit where you've been but with a twist. (Though I do wish someone would make a game that would let you wander through it once you are done so you can see it all, instead of kicking you out to the beginning of a new game.) I spent three or four nights playing this, well worth your money. Very visually appealing.
I recommend this game!

This is my second time playing through this game and I just love it! It is a great way to relax and have some fun after a hard day. The gameplay was fun. I didn't get lost like I usually do and so there wasn't that frustration. I enjoyed walking around and never used the map because the scenery was so lovely. I loved the way they did the ghost. The little gnomes were very cool. The animals were cute. Not real challenging but very fun and relaxing, which to me, makes for a great time playing a great game!
I recommend this game!

I expected a Match 3 but it is more like a balloon shooter, you know, where the balloons drop down as you shoot them - BUT you click the matches with your mouse not a shooting thing and this makes for horrible gameplay.
And, the constantly trying to hit a target on a constantly scrolling down screen made me nauseous!
The screen is constantly scrolling down which makes you miss your matches or if you get a bunch to drop off you have to wait for the screen to scroll down more and that takes from your time.
And, the constantly trying to hit a target on a constantly scrolling down screen made me nauseous!
The first level is very easy and then you progress to the master challenge and that is awful, so hard you can't get through them!!! I guess the developers gave up on it too, because you don't even get a new story, you get the exact same story repeated from the first level.
And, the constantly trying to hit a target on a constantly scrolling down screen made me nauseous!
I stopped before I finished this game, just had to give up because it was too frustrating and no fun!!! I hardly ever stop a game before completing it but this game is that bad.
And, the constantly trying to hit a target on a constantly scrolling down screen made me nauseous!
Did the developers ever actually play this?
I don't recommend this game.

I still did not find this game intuitive to play although I found the instructions and the hints to be a bit better than 9: the Dark Side. But this game was still so tedious!!! I played it over several nights and an hour or so at a time. There was so much of solve a puzzle to get a piece of something that will open another puzzle somewhere else to give you a piece of something to open a puzzle somewhere else to give you a hidden object scene and then an item you need that I found myself hopelessly lost several times and confused about which puzzle I saw where that needed completion with the item I found. I loved the scenery, the cathedral especially and the gargoyles were great. Great atmosphere, but bad game play.
I don't recommend this game.

This game has me hopping mad because after I went through all the tedious puzzles, at the very last there is no skip and so I couldn't see the end of the game. It is probably no great loss, just another minus for the game in my book. I am a seasoned player and I played this on casual mode for I like to PLAY and not have to think too hard. The story was confusing to me from the first, this type of story is not my thing, knights and dragons, but I thought I'd have fun anyway...was I ever wrong!!! My confusion grew for I didn't find the game intuitive to play and the directions were not very clear. The artwork and atmosphere, music etc was all really cool, the ghosts were great. Liked how the objectives popped up there without opening the book. Sad that the game had to be so unenjoyable. In one word this game is TEDIOUS, the puzzles are the type that make me want to throw the computer across the room, ones like slide the tiles and form a picture or get the ball into the hole or this ring of stones moves all at once now get the red ones here and the blue ones there, or jump these so that the left ones end up on the right and the right ones end up on the left. I find these puzzles tedious and frustrating but can handle a few in a game. All the puzzles in this game were like that, and gameplay was very tedious. For instance, to unlock something you have to find 2 things and then solve 2 puzzles and then a hidden object scene and then you will get the second item you need to open a puzzle to undo a lock. Frustrating, tedious, boring and a bit confusing....got to where I couldn't remember which puzzle was where for the part I had. I gave up and began skipping puzzles, which is NOT having fun. Had to stop and check the walkthrough several times, which again is NOT having fun. And then the end game is a shooter, something I am totally lousy at.....and there is no skip button!!!! So I am stuck unable to finish the game. Guess really that just saves me more wasted time. Not my idea of fun at all!!!!! Very sorry I bought this one!!!!
I don't recommend this game.

Loved this game. Loved the story and being the detective. The story is good and the puzzles make sense instead of leaving you guessing as to what to do. Just as much fun as 9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek. I wish it were longer for I wasn't ready to end the fun! Also with this one you have a choice of Hidden Object or Mahjongg, I love both so I wish you had the option of doing both instead of having to choose. Most of the characters were really good. Great fun all around, is this one!

I love this Mahjong game. Mahjong is my favorite game and there are all kinds of Mahjong games. This one falls into what I call the simple category, no bells and whistles, no race for time or find special tiles or earn trophies. What this game is great at is relaxation. You don't have to race. The music is relaxing. The tiles are easy to see. I loved the backgrounds, especially the temple and the tower. This is the Mahjong game to play if you want to relax and click tiles while you think through your day. I love Mahjong and this is one of my favorites.
I recommend this game!

I should have read the other review! This game seems to be made by someone to whom English is a second language, for instance when you finish a level it says, "pass a barrier". The instructions aren't really understandable (like those you get when trying to put together something made in another country) and leave you wondering what to do with some of the things occurring on the board. The board is small and it is difficult to distinguish items, gave me a headache by the time I gave up and quit. The music is also horrible, the same few bars over and over and over again contributing to the headache. Really surprised Big Fish would have something like this, they are usually beyond excellence in their choice of games. Now you have two reviews instead of one. I hope you will do better than me: read them and pass this game by....
I don't recommend this game.

Amusement World!
Enjoy a thrilling and delightful romp through a world-class amusement park!
This game was so much fun that I played it through twice in a row! Shooting galleries, balloon popping, ball tossing, bumper cars, and a haunted grove! I had a great time at the amusement park and I didn't spend tons of money or have to stand in line in the sweltering heat!
