This is an excellent sequel to Grim Facade. The art and music were excellent and fit the mood of the game. The hos were interactive and you had to use objects to get other objects which was different and makes it interesting. Also, finding the fans in the hos so that you can accumulate hints was also different. The only thing was that when you replayed the hos you could not get more fans. This then limits your use of hints and you really need to be careful when you have the other hos games where you need to find all the same object. I did not check out the strategy guide (my bad) as it was straightforward and I actually did not need to use it. The storyline was a little hard to follow finding the missing women which was introduced at the beginning, but if I had gone farther I may have accumulated more information. Overall it was an excellent game.

I loved the first 2 Big Kahunas and this one is just as good. There of course is no storyline, but the art is great, the sound is just fine and gameplay is continual. It is a good game just to pass the time.

Many of the games lately have not held my attention and needless to say, have not purchased them. This is a gem that caught me from the start artistically, challenging and fun. As I tend to start out a little slow because I examine everything before I start and look out for all the details, I never get too far into the demo before I run out of time. The art is beyond gorgeous, Rupert has a voice that takes you along the storyline without being annoying or monotone and the games are enough to keep you interested. The game has three levels and since I was doing the demo, I started with casual. I like the rooster who can bring things to you and the strategy guide which is very imformative regarding the different achievements, collecting the miniatures and stays were you last left off. The map is extremely helpful with it's different colored buttons of where you can go to do tasks(gold#, where you need to go back to #silver# and where you can't go #broken). Didn't need to use the hint button so not sure how long it takes to fill. Overall I had a great time playing this game and will be purchasing it as soon as I finish my review. This game is not for those who do not enjoy fantasy or fairy tales.

When Haunted Hotel first came out I didn't like it much and never played the 2nd one. This one was very good. The HOS were uncomplicated and the mini games were much better than having to find a key for each and every locked door. I have no idea how the hint button was on refilling because I didn't need to use it. The Strategy Guide was good and though it didn't move as you did, it stayed to where you last used it. The achievements were a little weak, felt that there should be more but as I finished in the hour trial, don't know if there are more in the whole game. The music was appropriately creepy but was not intrusive, The clock in Curwin's room became quickly annoying but otherwise sound and art were great. Need to be careful though as some of the objects that you pick up along the way you can't really tell what they are unless you actually put the arrow over them and objects can be missed because of their blending or size. Overall this was an ejoyable game.

The game was well done artistically and the music was appropriate for the story and scenes that were involved. The items to find were fairly easy to find and once assembled were easy to use. The hint button filled on an average basis and was helpful when you needed to be somewhere else. It was fun and the backwards world was fun. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and will probably buy it.

After playing the demo of Snark Busters HIgh Society I had to go back and play the demo for this one. I enjoyed the art and the storyline was a little slow for me. Some of the hidden pieces were difficult to see and the hint button filled in an average time period. I got a little lost going back and forth between "real time" and backward time trying to remember what went where and where I was going. Part of that was that I started the game and left and then came back. The items once assembled were easy to figure out where to use and how to use. The music got a little annoying but then it would stop for a bit before starting again. Overall it was an enjoyable game.

This was a fun game that pieces need to be found to do something else. Those usually tend to get boring by the end of the game and as I completed demo I'm not sure whether it will keep my attention the whole game. The objects were fairly easy to find, but wasn't always sure what to do next. The hint button didn't help a whole lot when trying to find out where to go next and going back and forth between scenes can be distracting especially if you don't necessarily see the object that you can pick up next. I usually don't finish the demo because I like to take my time checking out the area and how a game works. The story line was enjoyable and the level of challenge was ok. I might or might not buy the game, but I did enjoy it.

I loved the art deco work. It was fantastic. The game had a good storyline and finding the cards and photos was interesting. Just on the edge of not being able to find. The hos scenes were good, not overloaded but in some cases harder to see because of the darkness in the game. The mini games were not difficult but were fun. The map was helpful and the hint button was great to help where to go next without losing power. I also liked the voiceovers and were not distracting or annoying. The music fit and also did not get annoying. This game was just overall fun and will probably get it soon.
I recommend this game!

The storyline followed the book. The hint button gave you more hints as time passed and you did not use any. The items were small and sometimes hard to see. The music fit the scenes. Traditional hos scenes. Easy mini games. Lots of fun.

Had to play this game due to my love of Agatha Christie novels. The art was beautiful and well done. Some things had there names as the English calls them ie soccer ball in England is called a football. The hidden object scenes were traditional but some of the objects were hard to pick out due to the incredibly small size. It had a good story line but seemed slow as the story was told by game cards. The hint button was one that gave you another hint over time so they had to be used sparingly. The mini games were also traditional so they were easily solved. The cryptic clues were also fairly easy and once you had the clue all you had to do was locate it in the scene that you had the picture of. The only map I used was the one when I finished one scene and went to the next for more hos. It is a fairly straight forward game and while I enjoyed the part I played I could tell I was getting bored by the end of the hour demo. This game is a good one for people just starting with hog or beginners.
