As an agent of the Alliance, you’ve been given a mission to destroy an ancient artifact known as the Spear of Destiny. In the wrong hands, it could help conquer the world.
You’re an agent in world war2 and have to look for the spear of destiny. Don’t be squeamish. Protect it by all means. Good luck, the spear will be destroyed in the end. Otherwise it would be quite a temptation, wouldn’t it?
At the beginning, I thought, the game is 3 stars worth. Difficulty can be customized slightly, you can’t exclude helping texts. The music is annoying, mercifully you can it switch off. There were few locations and few items, so it was pretty obvious, what to do. For my liking, to easy. But during the game it was going to be more difficult. More locations, more possibilities. The longer I played the better it became.
In the middle of the game– you just have received the spear and were flying back– I thought “Oh no, was that it? Such a short game.” But, surprise, surprise, it wasn’t.
What is good? - Visuals, voice-overs and animations were excellent. - There are a lot of mini-games, nicely done, but not that difficult. - The HO’s were pretty good, a little bit interactive and also with morphing objects. - You can switch to a kind of 3match - There were a lot of collectables - Nice gimmicks - Decent length
Between 4 and 5 stars. For gaining 5 stars, it should have been more challenging, but for sure, it’s good value and nice to play.
I’ve played a lot of adventures in the 90s, such a Simon the sorcerer or Indiana Jones. This game reminds me of them. A lot of locations to investigate, plenty of objects to detect. Quite difficult and time-consuming.
Usually I complain rather, games are too short or too easy. But this time, I did not like the complexity. Either one have a really good memory or is doing notes or is using hints. Otherwise you have to go back and forth and back again. I am not patient enough for that and I don’t like using hints too often. An interactive map shows, which locations are done and where still tasks are open. That’s helpful.
Additional, this game is not state of the art. From my point of view, compared to the above-mentioned, the quality has not increased suitable. Difficulty cannot be customized (though it was not so bad, to have helping texts). There are no voices. Animation is poor. The change of the cursor is unremarkable. The objects within inventory are pretty small.
If you do like adventures and tricky puzzles, give it a shot.
My ranting is based on completion of SE and fulfillment of most of my personal requirements.
These are: - First of all, a decent length, I needed something between 4 and 5 hours. That’s ok. - Good graphics: they were awesome and magnificent. - A lot of location can be discovered. They are plotted extremely detailed and marvelous. Sometimes, it reminds me of Alice in wonderland. A little bit surreal and a kind of fantasia. - Very well animated. - Good Voice over, matching the characters. But why do witches (as well as sorcerers in other games) always have to laugh so awful? - Tools: An interactive map, a bewitched girl in form of a ferret. And Annabel, your companion who can vivify something. - Good Story: According to the previous “Witches’ legacy” games, you have to stop a witch. This time one, who possesses your sister. - Different and interesting HO’s: They were really good and slightly interactive, you can switch to matching pairs. - Mini games: They very mostly easy, but clearly well done. - Challenge: The tasks were logical, but not that easy. - Lovely gimmicks along the game. Click and enjoy.
Minor dislikes: Difficulty to be customized. You can choose: map issues - combined with hint recharge, sparkles at HO’s, glitter, skip recharges. Unfortunately, you can’t exclude helping texts as well as contextual pointer or plus-item. Hint recharge time may 35 sec, skip recharge time may 50 sec. For my liking to short.
my ranking is based on completion of SE and fulfillment of any personal requirements.
These are: - First of all, a decent length, I needed nearly 5 hours. That’s fine. - Good graphics: may be a little gloomy, but matching the story. - A lot of location to be discovered - Good Animation: nicely done. - Good Voice over - Tools: An interactive map. And a ghost catcher, that has to be assembled first. - Good Story: you’re going to free 4 kids. Step by step you’re revealing the truth about the village and mines. A story about greed, traitor and revenge. - Different and interesting HO’s: They were really good. Some were interactive. - Tricky mini games: Including one super puzzle, I liked most. - I could have go without the “helping light-ups”, which were illuminating right placings, the mini games would have been more difficult without them. - Challenge: The tasks were logical, but not that easy. - Difficulty to be customized. You can choose: tutorial, sparkles at HO’s, glints, hint / skip recharges. Unfortunately, you can’t exclude helping texts.
A challenging game, with good HO’s and interesting mini games.
My ranking is based on completion of SE and my personal requirements, which weren’t fulfilled completely.
Well done: - Good graphics, good animated. - Decent length - Assistance: An interactive map. A magnifier, your companion Vice and a Phoenix. Because of the different possibilities it was pretty interesting. - Story: wasn’t that bad. There were some surprising turns. - HO’s: weren’t easy. Partly, because they are a little bit too dark. - Mini games: nicely done, but not difficult. They were all well known. - A lot of locations - Challenge: The tasks were logical, not too easy. You need an eager eye, to discover all objects.
Dislikes: - Music: was annoying, always the same melody. - No voices - Difficulty can’t be customized. - A lot of back and forth. Some HO’s appear at locations, which were actually done.
The mountain town of Glockenverk is in the grip of a dramatic and deadly cold spell. Set out with your trusty feline friend, Mr. Jenkins, to crack the case!
My ranking is based on completion of SE and my personal requirements, which weren’t completely fulfilled. - Excellent graphics: they were pretty good - Good Animation: except when people are speaking, the animation is great. - Good Voices: good spoken, matching the characters - Music, is o.k, a little bit repetitive, but not playing constantly. - Fitting background noises. - Tools: An interactive map. And a helping paw: Mr. Jenkins. It has wonderful blue eyes and is always hungry. No fish – no work. - Story: was o.k. but the end was so-so. - HO’s: the game has mainly hidden pairs. Sometimes interactive. Alternatively an interesting match 3. - Mini games: nicely done, but not so difficult. - Many locations: if I counted right, there are 30 locations. - Challenge: The tasks were logical, but mostly easy. From my point of view, to obvious, especially with helping texts.
Dislikes: - Length: I needed not even 3 hours – that’s far too short - Difficulty to be customized. You can choose: tutorial, map issues, contextual pointer, plus-item, sparkles at HO’s, glitter, hint / skip recharges. But you can’t exclude helping texts.
If animation and graphics weren’t that good, I would give 3 stars only.

These are: - First of all, a decent length, I needed 5 hours and a little bit. That’s fine for me. - Excellent graphics: they were really, really good. - Good Animation: indeed, they were not only good, but rather excellent, - Voices: good spoken, matching the characters - Music, which is not disturbing. - Fitting background noises. - An interactive map. - Good Story - Different and interesting HO’s: the game has quite a large range of different types. Description and silhouettes, some were interactive. Some with riddles or morphing objects. - Tricky mini games: oh yes - Many locations - Challenge: The tasks were logical, but not that easy. Mostly, you have a lot of items, thus also many possibilities. Sometimes you really have to think about, I like that. At the end, a few tasks were somewhat too far-fetched. I prefer playing w/o helping texts, thus it was a little bit tricky. - Difficulty to be customized. You can choose: tutorial, map issues, contextual pointer, plus-item, sparkles at HO’s, glitter, hint / skip recharges, helping texts.
If you like challenging games, with good HO’s and many mini games, with a good quality, try this one. You’ll like it.

- Challenge: The tasks were logical, but not that easy. Mostly, you have a lot of items, thus also many possibilities. Sometimes you really have to think about, I like that.
Reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars
- Difficulty can be customized, but you can’t let away helping texts. I prefer playing w/o helping texts, though they clearly have helped in this game.
- Length: It could have lasted longer, I needed not even 4 hours. In principal 4 hours are o.k. but not 5 stars worth.
My star rating is based on completion of SE and my own requirements. I have played all Ravenhearst games, they are my favorites.
- Difficulty can be customized: I prefer playing w/o helping texts, so I love it. You can chose tutorial, map issues, sparkles, glitter, contextual icon, plus item indicator, hint and skip recharge time.
- Graphics: They were excellent. A little bit grim, but that’s the type of Ravenhearst.
- Animation: Really good.
- Music: Decent. Fitting background noises.
- Tools: you do have an interactive map only.
- Story: Continuation from the older games.
- Locations: At the beginning, you are in an asylum with 5 or 6 locations. After escaping, you’re heading to Ravenhearst w/o need for returning to the asylum. The locations opened step by step. Needed items are spread over several locations. There are a lot of nice special effects along the way. Nicely done.
- HO’s: Mostly, you have to look for an item according to description. They were well done.
- Mini games: Simply the best. I love these interactive puzzle-riddle-mini games. From my point of view, they are most challenging and interesting.
- Challenge: The tasks were logical, so you can play w/o helping messages – just needing an eager eye. Usually you do not have too many items in your inventory, thus trial and error helps a lot. All in all, it is quite challenging. Difficulty increases during the game, except the end, that was easy.
- Length: Is fine. I needed between 6 and 7 hours for completing the game.

There are a lot of nice gimmicks along the game, e.g. snowmen. The cats were extremely cute.
I strongly recommend this game, even Christmas is over, thanks to Santa Claus, Father Frost and all cats, it will return this year.
