My star rating is based on completion of SE and my own requirements:
- Graphics: The graphics are great, lovely sceneries.
- Animation: It is pretty good animated.
- Voices: good spoken, matching the characters
- Tools: an interactive map only
- Story: It is a nice fairytale, according to the Slavic’s mythology.
- HO’s: there were different types of HO. Nicely drawn, sometimes interactive. Mostly silhouettes and looking for parts of an item.
- Mini games: They're different types, nicely done, but quite easy.
- Locations: They are divided in 2 sections: First 7 or 8 location, later about 15 locations. The items are spread about all locations – according sections. Sometimes a HO appears later on again. So, you have to go back and forth (within a section).
- Challenge: The tasks were logical, but you don’t need to think out of the box. All things considered, it is not too challenging.
Minor Dislikes: - Difficulty can’t be customized: there a three levels of difficulty only.
- Length: Is too short. I needed about 3 hours and something for playing through.
- Music: is a little bit simple. Good news, there is not always music.
All in all, it was quite a nice game. If you like fairytales - as I do - you might like it.
I recommend this game!

Final Cut: Fade to Black
The rivalry between two movie studios escalates into deception and murder!
My star rating is based on my personal requirements:
- Difficulty can be customized: I prefer playing w/o helping texts, so I love it to customize the difficulty. You can chose map issues, glitter, contextual pointer, plus item indicator, hint and skip recharge time. Of course, there a three levels of difficulty preset.
- Graphics: The graphics are great, good, detailed and prospectively drawn.
- Animation: It is quite good animated, not best in class, but good enough to have fun.
- Music: discreet and nice, not disturbing not too repetitive. Fitting background noises.
- Voices: good spoken, matching the characters
- Tools: you do have an interactive map and (sometimes) a projector
- Story: not new -> based on the older Final cut stories, but fascinating enough with some surprising turns.
- HO’s: there were nearly all known types of HO included. Really good done, sometimes interactive. Additional you can switch to match3.
- Challenge: The tasks were logical, so you can play w/o helping messages and don’t have to use hints or map a lot. There were quite different types of mini games – mostly not the catchiest at all, but definitely interesting. But for some few, I had to tax my brain. From my point of view, Final Cut is quite challenging.
- Locations: Usually you have to investigate 3-5 locations. You don’t have to go back. The items are spread about more locations, so it is a little more challenging.
- Length: Is decent. I needed nearly 5 hours for playing through. That’s fine for me.
Dislikes: none.
I do recommend this game for sure. It is challenging, has a proper length and high quality.
This game is awful old fashioned. The locations were drawn quite nicely, but it is not animated – except intro. The people don’t have voices. It has no different difficulties, no map. Each location has an easy and simple HO. The mini games also are very easy.
The story is a little bit poor, it could have been nice, a werewolf loving his neighbor, against the big, bad brothers. But is has clearly room for improvement.
The music is always the same and very repetitive. Changing only between scenes and HO’s.
A plus were several points with a lot of info about red riding hood.
I can’t recommend the game, even it would be for free.
This game is not state of the art. The graphics aren’t really good, it is nearly not animated. The people don’t have voices, except the one who tales the story. It has 3 difficulties, nothing to customize. No map. Each location has an easy and simple HO. From my point of view, to many HO’s. The mini games also are quite simple, even with playing the hardest difficult mode. The story is a little bit poor, no surprise at all. I did like the puzzles and mosaics, they were a little bit challenging.
I am not quite sure, if I shall recommend the game. May be, if you have nothing to do and are bothered a little bit and the game is receivable for free, then it would be okay.

My rating is based on the following: Excellent graphics, not disturbing music and fitting background noises. A lot of fine details along the game with fitting noises just for fun. The animation is okay, but could have been a little bit better. Voices are really great and speeches were excellent. Difficulty can be customized, but e.g. helpful messages could not be excluded. Challenge was interesting enough, the objects are spread all about 4-5 locations. The mini games aren’t not that new, but they did have some new nice adjustments, e.g. ball-labyrinth with air pushes. The idea with the “energy-ball Harry” was great and the “Harry animated animals” were nice and funny. Additional, the investigation case has to be considered, that makes it more challenging. You can switch between HO and 3 matches.
Some dislikes for not giving fully 5 stars: It took not even four hours to play through, it could have lasted longer. For finding a needed item, you often have to go back and for about 4-5 location. I don’t want to use the map, if I’m not stuck, so going back and for and back and for, is a little bit bugging. I’m wondering, why all bad sorcerers, ghosts… in most of all creeps games, have to do that annoying “ha,ha,ha”. I can easily go w/o this. The character of the sorcerer Ignotus is too naive designed. Like a child would have drawn him. From my point of view, a character like him, should have been more interesting.
I like fairytales pretty much. Excellent graphics, pretty good animated, decent music and fitting background noises. Voices are really great and it was quite good spoken. Difficulty can be customized: I prefer playing w/o helping texts, so I enjoy this. You can delete the tutorial, decide if objectives and areas of interest are shown at an interactive map, chose contextual pointer, plusitem indicator, recharching time… Challenge was interesting enough, the objects are spread all about the locations, which makes it more interesting. The mini games aren’t not that new and could have been more challenging, but they are pretty good. The game hat a decent length at least.
Minor dislikes: I'm not the biggest fan of FROGS, (finding all the pieces and game puts them together), I like interactive HO’s just fine, but this is a personal like. I did not use the interactive map often, but sometimes it does not lead to the current task.
Quite an interesting game. It is state of the art. Really good sceneries, in turns drawn and filmed. That’s really, relly well done. First I was unsure about the story, but finally it turns to come as a stunner. The challenge is okay, it could have been more challenging, but it is not boring. The puzzles are fine and the HO were interactive. There is no map – needed. There are always only 2-4 places to solve. When they are done, no need to return, that makes it easier. I played between 4-5 hours to complete the game, so it is worth the money.
It could have been quite a good game, if … ...it were longer lasting. It is far too short. I was very surprised about that “early end”, I’d just warmed up. Not even 2 hours to play is not attractive. .....Start and end weren’t such gruesome. I did not like that.
In principle, the game owns all staff, what a good game characterized. Difficulty can be customized. It is well designed. Animation is pretty good, language, noises and music are fine. It has an interactive map. There are some nice details along the game. The tasks are logical.
I am playing without helping texts, thus it was challenging enough to be interesting.
According to the short time, you need to play through, it is not worth its price.
The good news: the game is well designed and good animated. It has an interactive map. Difficulty can be chosen. It is quite logical built up. Cursor changes slightly only, so you have to be attentive. Hints are showing the next needed locations.
The reasons, why I haven’t given more stars are the following: - It tries over conscientious to be creepy. Too much blood, too many ghosts. Less would have been more. - From my point of view, the story is a little bit poor. - It was not that challenging. - I am playing without helping texts, so I was irritated about a changing cursor, without anything visible. If there are descriptions about surroundings, it would have been nice, to read them, even playing w/o helpings. - There should have been blue flags at the map, signing the current tasks. But weren’t.
This game has a high end quality. The animation - especially the intro – looks like an animated cartoon. It is excellent. The game owns all features, which are state of the art right now. You can adjust the difficulty. It has an interactive map. The graphics are magnificent, voices and noises are really good, the music is not bothersome. You can play without helping messages (I prefer that). Along the game there are a lot of nice details.
The challenge is good enough, the tasks are quite logical. Except for small issues like “why should a battery be hidden in a buoy?” At the end, in one scene, you have to be very accurate. I missed it and had to use a hint. And one scene wasn’t logical (if you don’t have helping messages) and I got it only through try and error. I needed 6 hour and something to play through, it is long enough.
Last but not least: the puzzles are outstanding. I love those most of all. From my point of view, they could have been quite a little bit trickier, either I am used to them by now, or they are not as difficult as the former one. But hey: they are still the best.
