Let me start by saying the artwork is beautiful! I enjoyed the story very much. If you have played any previous Dark Parable games you will see a few nods to those characters in this game as well as a nod to Felix Fish.
My only negative was one particular type of puzzle found throughout the game that I find tedious and is just a personal dislike. I am sure many gamers love them. The glowing orbs with certain number of moves. Level one and two were good, level three always had me pulling my hair out. After the first two times I was done.
The bonus game was good though not so much as the main game. It ended so abruptly that it has me wondering if I missed something?
I recommend this game!

Sable Maze: Norwich Caves
Your students have gone missing during an expedition under the university. Can you track them down before the water rises?
Though I admit I am getting tired of Detective Gray and her family, I am fascinated by Thomas. The connect the dots and paint by number portions were repetitive though I liked the animals that came from the tedium. There must be a better way to achieve that end without such childish tasks.
I truly liked the game, The bonus game was not as good but was enjoyable. The secret room however was a waste of time.
I enjoyed this game but there was something missing. There was nothing engaging. It was forgettable. I enjoyed it while I was playing it but felt no compulsion to keep going. It is difficult to remember though I do remember the main game is far more interesting than the bonus and the hidden chapter was a waste of time.
It was well drawn at times but even that was inconsistent.
I am not a fan of the robotic characters. It seems like an old technique. The plot while interesting was missing something to make it special. I feel as if I have played this game before though I liked the premise. For what it was the bonus was decent. All told, I do not think that this game had everything I expect in a CE. It was too predictable.
I am glad I used a BF game coupon for this. It was a decent game, mostly enjoyable. There were a few translation errors but it was easy enough to understand.
The graphics are grainy which normally bothers me but seemed apt in this instance. I do not usually like to use hints but I felt as if I was walking all over the place at time. I found the hint button less than helpful and I was playing casual!
The artwork was superb. The game was challenging. My only issue would be the plot theme of stolen children. Maybe it is just a personal preference but I find it difficult to enjoy as a concept.
I am not often a fan of little helpers but the mini scarecrow did not irk me as do some of them.
Lets discuss the bonus. While I believe that many developers do not put as much effort into the bonus chapters, this game is different. The bonus was a fully thought out game. It was not an afterthought.
This game was worth the CE price.
I recommend this game!

Shrouded Tales: The Spellbound Land Collector's Edition
Your magical powers have finally awakened. Now you have the strength to free your mother from the Shadow Realm!
The gameplay was good and the concept great. Moving between the worlds/time was a great addition to the gameplay and gave each scene a new level of depth. The HOS were varied and interesting.
I was not as impressed by the bonus but it was good.
