It is difficult for me to understand what so many other fishes saw in this game. I was so irritated by the forest fairies vocals that I was anxious for the game to end. "Whoo hoo" seemed so inappropriate when a brother swans were just murdered and a baby kidnapped. Imagine my horror when I realized that the entire bonus chapter would be with those annoying infantile cartoons.
I do not think this game deserved all of the high praise and I would not recommend it as a CE. Wait for the SE!
I replayed this game and enjoyed it. The gameplay was a bit slow between cutscenes. Maybe it's me but I thought there were way too many puzzles. Also, the map was not interactive.
Additionally, the bonus chapter was nothing but a repeat of HOS and puzzles from the game. It was short and not worth the extra money.
This was supposed to be the happiest day of your life. But instead of walking down the aisle, you're in another dimension, battling a mad inventor to save your family!
Honest, I tried to like it. Truly! For me however, it was just silly, stupid and irritating. Who thought it was so great anyway? Were they all friends of the developers or kids? I ask because that seems to be the only way this could amass a four star average.
You came to the town of Brownville, Louisiana hoping to find a new job. But you weren't expecting to stumble upon a strange adventure in a world filled with beauty and danger!
I just replayed this game and I am sorry I wated my time. There was no challenge it just felt like a lot of busy work. I am surprised I finished the whole thing.
I played this for a second time and enjoyed it again. My only complaint would be that the artist paid so much attention to detail that things were rather small, and I am playing on a large screen. This caused a bit of eyestrain but that was my only issue.
Professor Ashmore, the same man who so kindly took you in and raised you as his own has been murdered. It’s up to you to find out why, but are you prepared for what truths may be uncovered?
I managed to get through the demo but that is as far as I will go. The gameplay is slow and unresponsive. The instructions are convoluted and confusing. The worst part for me was the sound mix. I had to lower the music because it was so annoying but despite that the horrid voiceovers were inaudible.
A long-forgotten artifact has just resurfaced, and the race to claim it will cause a devastating war. The only thing strong enough to stop it is one woman’s promise to the man she loves.
