M3 games are one of my fave genres. This game has great graphics and music. The game play is excellent as are the power ups. My gripe is this; I don't usually buy M3 games that don't offer a non timed option. There are some games I've made exceptions for as they are so good in all other respects. During the trial I reached a level I ran out of time on three occasions. The problem being, there were no moves in the area you needed them most. The time you're given isn't adequate to get those moves either. On the 3rd attempt I decided to start in the most challenging area, but couldn't as there were no moves. Couple this with the games reshuffling due to no moves, and the whole game seems pointless. If devs are going to add timed modes only, then it should be possible to complete a level within that time. Luckily it was after the 3rd failed attempt my trial hour ran out. This is a real shame, as in all other respects it's a great M3.

When I first started playing I thought it was going to be an average iHOG. Im playing advanced mode. The first HOS looked good enough, but when it took my cursor away for three wrong clicks, it went found and round and round for what seemed like forever. At that point I was going to quit the game, but so pleased I stuck with it. It's got good graphics, a helpful map, and lots of scenes to visit making it interesting and certainly you have to use your brain. It is challenging in advanced mode, but not excessively so. It's been one of the best non CE games from BF for quite some time. Game seems to be a good length too. Played for 3 hours, and still lots to do, If you, like myself started it and didn't think it worth continuing with, please give it another shot. Not many games keep me wanting to play until the end, but this game I can't put down. A big plus too is that although it is supposedly set in England, there are no stereotypical stupid so called English voices.
I recommend this game!

This game ticks all the boxes for an entertaining game that isn't overly challenging, but not too easy either. No option for different modes of play, but thankfully no sparkles and not too much hand holding either. The HO scenes were interactive, and very nicely done. The game play didn't have you running back and forth too much which is a bonus. Once you've finished a chapter, you are in a new environment with little more than a handful of various rooms to visit. The hint refilled quickly, and didn't give too much away. The puzzles were too easy really. I skipped some - more out of boredom than the challenge! You collect up to four different energy crystals that have different functions..start fires, add electricity, blow wind and help young things grow. I found these being used more towards the end of the game. I played non stop for 6 hours, and still just have the last bit to do. A relaxing game, well thought out although the graphics weren't that special. Cartoon cut scenes, most of which I skipped. Voices weren't irritating and characters quite amusing.

I played this game to the end, so must have good entertainment value. The storyline was awfully silly, so I skipped most of the dialogue. The game play and graphics were better than average. Made a really good change not to have too many junk pile HO scenes, and a clever innovation of a HO scene within the HO scenes. The hint system was excellent, I didn't need to go to the built in strategy guide. I played advanced level, to avoid the dreaded sparkles. Even so, sparkles appeared now and again. The puzzles were a bit different, but not very challenging. Never needed to skip any. Overall it's a great game for newcomers to IHOGs, and although I've played hundreds of these types of games I rated this one as above average for a non CE game.

I really enjoyed this game. Very much like a 'B' movie in content, making a refreshing change from the usual creepy, scary format. The story was silly, but easily followed. I played advanced mode; the game wasn't overly difficult but got you thinking about what you should do next. The map was great as you could 'jump' to where you needed to be, instead of trolling around for hours going to places you don't need to be. The map didn't give away too much either, so gameplay was still challenging. I didn't need to refer to a W/T for this game. The graphics were good, as was the sound. Enough dialogue without becoming boring. I knocked a star off because you can't look at your inventory items, or do anything whilst the dialogue is going on. This is something I find incredibly annoying! HOG scenes weren't too hard, and this game had an excellent hint system. It took me 5 + hours to play it, and that included skipping much of the dialogue and some puzzles. The puzzles were ok, and not too difficult in the main. All in all I recommend you play this game if you enjoy iHOGs, and fancy a change from creepy!

Just had to write a review whilst waiting for full game to D/L. It has amazing graphics, but what really sets it apart are the incredible animations! If these are the games of the future, the more the merrier. A lot of thought and work has gone into this game. The music is fitting, advanced or casual play options, very good interactive HOG scenes, excellent graphics. Spooky, but the more spooky the more I like them. Of all the games out there, this ranks as one of the very best!

Very similar to Four Elements. Gets harder as you progress through the levels. Relaxed or timed options; a 'must have' if I'm going to buy a M3 game. You build your garden centre as you go along. A bonus game of TM too increases your coins. Coins are used to make purchases in the shop. Good entertainment. Gets a little repetitive as do most M3 games.

I so enjoyed this game. It was not only very long (took 7 hours with some puzzle skips), but different from the usual iHOGs. Not too many straight HOG scenes, but lots of fractured HOG scenes. All looking for parts for a useable item, rather than a load of junk. And I think a rarity...not ONE hourglass to look for! Yay! Charming chapters, and each place very different to the one before. You collect coins in each scene to add that location to your map, which was a nice idea. Best of all, the extra CE bonus content was built into the game which made a pleasant change from the usual umpteen HOG scenes to fill the extra CE game play! Also, your game is played from beginning to end in the mode you choose (casual or advanced)! Too many CEs swirch back to casual mode for the CE bonus chapter.

Enjoyed this series of iHOGs. This one had good graphics and music. HOG scenes interesting and not overly difficult. Over clicking resulted in a penalty, albeit a short one! Casual and advanced options, which I think are essential in these CEs. No need for built in SG really, only for puzzle solving, as hint and skip system excellent and even in advanced mode both refilled fairly quickly. The game had plenty of locations, and mainly didn't require a lot of tooing and froing. Would have got 5* if longer.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

This game is not for the faint hearted! The graphics are phenominal, the sounds keep the spooky atmosphere and it has to rate amongst the very best iHOG games ever. I love the morphing HOG scenes, rather than looking for the usual junk stuff. Not an easy game, and I've been stuck many times. The SG could be more helpful, and at times is frustratingly not helpful at all. A long game, and one you'll probably need to go back to after resting your brain for a while! Would welcome more games like this one!
