I played for just under one hour. The final 35 minutes were painful and I had to force myself to play even that long.
I do not like the puzzles, the graphics, the story...the instructions.... there's not much about The Keepers that worked well.
I can tell you the example of one puzzle in particular, but it for sure was not the only unpleasant one: a jigsaw puzzle of sorts, which was made up of pieces of shredded paper/canvas. So we were supposed to be assembling the torn up pieces of a painting. I don't know WHAT that was about, but apparently you could right click to rotate the pieces and.... well... there were some other aspects to it but the whole UI was just quite awful. I don't know what else to say but that even on sale today at $4.99 I shan't be buying this game.

I had tried to leave a review yesterday and to be honest, I apparently hadn't played long enough, because my feelings toward Island Tribe 4 changed quite a bit. I still do enjoy it & I would play again - maybe in a year or so, but there is one thing that really really grates my nerves: FIRES. Constant, never ending flames. Buildings catch afire & need to be de-flamed .... its good for adding on a little something something, but every 60 seconds? That's a bit much. Also in the too-much department are the sheer # of "things" on the screen. There's quite a bit of clutter & just general mess. However, the game is still good & I'm glad to have an actual TM game.

I have nothing to say but that Fable of Dwarfs does what it does in a fun, fulfilling way. Its just simply great for scratching that TM itch. Good, solid game that leaves me with simply nothing to say!
I just want to say that I do know a lot of the reviewers of these games tend to be in the older crowd & that sometimes they complain about not being able to see small objects...and some of us younger folks tend to not have that issue. BUT....
Playing this game is my first experience with just plain not being able to find a thing -and I'm only in my 30s. I regret having purchased the full version of The Ghost Ship. I'm generally wary of any game that has the pattern of Title Colon Subtitle but I think there was a sale and so I had bought this. (Usually games with such titles are thin, overly simple & mass produced HOGs that wouldn appeal to non-casual gamers) Not sure if it was entirely not being able to see or also partly that tasks were dubious but I got nowhere.
I played as long as I could force myself to withstand the excruciating torture. Something snapped in me & faster than I knew I was capable of moving, I violently rampaged through the settings on my computer in order to delete Tropical Mania as rapidly as possible - which could not have been quick enough without the use of some kind of time-altering magic - & to remove all traces of it ever having slithered its way onto my poor hard drive.
Some integrity from developers would be nice. And by this, I mean not just selling products to see how many people can be suckered into buying them until too late making the painful realization that what they have done is paid money for a virtual pile of waste.
On the positive side, the graphics in this game are merely bad - as opposed to nuclear Armageddon. I may even spray my room with air freshener now.
I can only say (read other reviews to second my opinion here) that this game is intentionally misleading. Maybe not so much MISleading as it does not allow you the opportunity to know where youre headed and sometimes even where you are & what youre doing right while youre doing it. This is playing a game while blindfolded for the most part, with no idea what the goal even is.
Why would anyone want to do this?? I realize that the answser to this lies somewhere in the F2P model, but I don't generally volunteer to be fleeced! This is a huge No Buy. I urge you to read the other not -so-highly-rated reviews. Because I don't think anyone should be tricked into playing such games.
I don't have anything to add to the other reviews. Enlightenus 2 has wonderful puzzles. In fact, I'm trying to get my whole family - ages 14 to 64 - to play the game to see how well they can do.
I am so sad to say that this game took up space on my hard drive for over an hour. I am angered by the fact that the developers of Undiscovered obviously put all of the not-so-bad content into the 1st hour, knowing that many people buy games from sites which give 1 free hour. After around an hour of playing, this game turns to absolute garbage. (Dear Garbage, Please accept my sincere apologies for the unflattering comparison.)
Seriously...bad, bad game. Bad. Just the worst. If word getse out that I bought this, much less played it, it could affect my dating life. I could end up a miserable old spinster alone forever from the social ramifications it would cause.
I'm sorry that there are game developers out there who rely on good ratings for their $ but there is just no excuse for churning out such a miserable piece of work & then unleashing it upon an unsuspecting public. I once spent 3 hours playing in a pile of used hypodermic needles. That was a trip to Disneyland compared to the soul-crushing trip that I took in playing this game.
I leave Undiscovered with the wise words of Weird Al from one of his songs: "I'd rather clean all the bathrooms in Grand Central Station with my tongue than spend 1 more minute with you." Onto the next one.

If anyone that knows me personally sees the title of my review, they'll probably have a heart attack because to say such things is NOT in my nature. I'm not a fan of HOG games but this is basically an un-HOG? A de-HOG? Anti HOG?
You should check out to see just how lovely (omg I said lovely) Enlightenus truly is. It had a kind of a homemade feel, if that makes sense. In fact, at the very end of the game I guess we DO get proof of the individual care that went into making it. I'm really surprised. I hope that other developers can learn a thing or two from these guys.

All I can say is that I am very surprise that this game got poor reviews. Most of those were from people demanding certain features in their games - well guess what? Druid Kingdom does NOT actually have the flaws so many are complaining about! This is why I felt like I had to give it maybe a half of a star more than I had intended - because once again, people became overly negative & have given an overall poor rating to what is a perfectly good game. I urge anyone to try this out - give it a good shot & have an open mind that maybe if something isn't to your liking, ,maybe that "something" will have an answer to it later.
