I have played the Virtual Villagers series and like them all very much. In the New Believers there are new challenges and lots more to do to make the village a success. I enjoyed seeing the children, including the suprisingly precious heathen rascal, enjoy the butterflies. The games of tag and nursery school are sweet. The villagers are a tad small, but not so much as to affect the play. One of my villagers looked like Dolly Parton and another like Stooge, Larry Fine. I had my favorites and hated to see the old villagers die. Play this game. It is great fun and a welcome break from day to day stresses.
Yes the game is short, but the beautiful artwork more than compensates for the game's brevity. The story is fun, though predictable and rather disjointed. But play it for the color and clarity of the scenes, the relaxing puzzles and interesting hidden object finds. I took BF reviewers advice and bought the SE. Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Cursed Wedding is certainly worth $6.99.
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
Dull, boring and not up to MCF standard set by Dire Grove and Ravenhearst games. The hidden objects are small and the overall look of the game is dull. Don't waste your time or money.
Beautiful scenes! A good game with many puzzles and lots to hold this player's interest. A must have for the Christmas season. And again, this game is GORGEOUS!
Is it just me? My villagers have demonstrated individual personalities and I have my favorites. I have a six year old village chief and so enjoy when she lectures then plays in rain puddles. One boy grew up the only child in the village playing see-saw by himself and spent his entire childhood gathering mushrooms to keep his village from starving. Now I let him do whatever he wants. So much talent went into developing these games. Amazing!
Another good game from ERS. (They really bounced back after the very disappointing Haunted Halls, Revenge of Dr. Blackmore.) Haunted Legends, The Undertaker CE is everything I have come to expect from ERS. Scary, colorful, interesting and fresh. And I adored the impudent capuchin.
Don't know why I waited so long to play this game. So much fun. The little villagers are quite entertaining and so cute. Also enjoyed VIRTUAL VILLAGERS A NEW HOME.
Don't know why I waited until now to try this game. Love my little villagers and enjoy each of their accomplishments. I will purchase and play the entire VIRTUAL VILLAGERS series.
Prepare for a mind-bending journey into the realm of the weird in Haunted Halls: Revenge of Dr. Blackmore! Brace yourself for the unexpected in this exciting Hidden Object adventure!
This game was so disappointing. The first hour (as is the trial play) was ERS quality as expected. From there this game went downhill. The storyline was OK, but the artwork was dull, flat and uninteresting. I finished the game, but it is a "groaner."
