Sped through the demo to find out if the rain would stop, the skies would clear and perhaps this game would pick up some color. Went from dreary to downright stormy. All the scenes look pretty much alike and the characters are cliche', but at least the voices aren't irritating. Must agree that this is a task oriented game, but the puzzles are fun and the interactive HOs are interesting. The hint button acts as a maplike guide which this game needs. Would purchase another game rather than this one if a superior game were being offered by BF.
I recommend this game!
Save yourself from an unknown disease and leave the island!

Reminded me of Escape the Museum and certainly better than yesterdays zombie game. The HOs were enjoyable (dall included), with one or two interactive finds per, puzzles easy to somewhat "puzzling", the game ran smoothly and graphics were colorful, if smallish. Sparkles take a few seconds to point out areas of interest so player has a little time to figure it out for himself. An OK game, but cannot compete with the good ones.
Explore the zombie island and break an ancient curse! What caused the disaster? Was it a virus or magic?

I don't recommend this game.

Colorful, entertaining, not too challenging and levels do move a bit slowly. The game plays smoothly. Enjoyed making hot sauce and popcorn with harvested produce. Think I might purchase this when I tire of my current time management/strategy game. Try the demo, you may be pleasantly surprised.
I recommend this game!

Played the demo and am purchasing now. The puzzles and interactive inventory item games are a real selling point for this game. The HOs are pretty and relevant to the game's theme. Thanks for the comprehensive and positive reviews. My two cents-Five Stars.
I recommend this game!

Bought this game after reading all the positive reviews. Pushed through the purple lake and caves, but uninstalled when game reached the desert. Must agree with another player/ reviewer--this game plays like it is thrown together from leftover game parts. But, some of the puzzles were fun and somewhat challenging. Won't go on and on as the game has been much reviewed. In general,quality casual games are not being produced.
I don't recommend this game.
A wonderful story of the citizens of Joyville. Can you change their destiny? You will see – nothing is impossible!

ERS quality, beautiful artwork and a fun if familiar game. Nothing really new, but if you loved the other PuppetShow games, you will love this one. If not, you may not be five-star enthusiastic.
I recommend this game!
If you have enough courage to challenge the darkness, then you’ll manage to find out the mystery of the Rossolimo family.

Have the other two Secrets of the Dark and like them so watched the video and played the 45 minute demo of this game and am purchasing now. The artwork got me. Imaginative, colorful, clear. The HOs are different and interesting rather than the "get through it" usual fare. The puzzles are challenging rather than the same old same old. IF THE DEMO HOLDS TRUE.
I recommend this game!

I like this game, though felt that computer played "down" to my level, as I won all but one game set at medium difficulty against said computer in the 50 minute trial. #I'm not that smart.# But, that's OK. The dictionary is broad, but not all inclusive. Some esoteric words are not included. Unlike another reviewer, I enjoyed playing without the chat and player attitudes of the "other" multi-player Scrabble-like game. The gameboard looks good, but the music is drab #perhaps not to be a distraction#. As usual, try before you buy.
I recommend this game!

Played 30 minutes of the demo and had to quit. Frankly, this game got on my nerves because it moves so slowly with an unhurried walking motion between scenes. The HOs are simple, but colorful and the puzzles offer no challenges. The artwork is bright, but too cartoonish for the vamp theme. I want to purchase a new game, but not this one.
I don't recommend this game.
