I read the Lovecraft novel that this game is based on many years ago, and I am very impressed. The graphics are beautiful, the music is haunting, and the story just pulls you in. I especially like the fact that you get to play two different characters as the tale progresses. Mini-games were interesting and just the right level of challenge. I hope we see more games based on H.P. Lovecraft novels in the future.
I recommend this game!

This game is GREAT! More complex, more entertaining, more ways to win, and funnier than any computer solitaire game I've yet played. That gopher is a hoot! It's definitely a game that gets more and more challenging as you play through the courses, and at over 200 of them, I'll be playing it well into next year.

This game is one of the most enchanting I've played. The set designs are gorgeous, the puzzles are just the right level of challenge, the story is engrossing, the background music is beautiful, and the voice acting shows real talent. I don't quite know what else to say except buy this game!

I had bought this game back in 2010 and have just recently replayed it. I had forgotten how great it is. First off, it is not a hidden object game. In fact, it's not like any other game in Big Fish's inventory. It requires the player to think - really think - because some of the solutions are based on common sense combined with objects encountered on the journey. It has a definite European feel to it, and the storyline - although fantasy - is one of the most sensible I've encountered in years of puzzle gaming. A couple of the mini-games can be frustrating (the 3-card monty in the pirate era, and the target shooting in the western era come to mind), but they don't diminish the overall game play. I believe that anyone who enjoys a cerebral challenge will certainly enjoy Green Moon.

Normally, I stay away from games that are 100% hidden object and nothing else, but for some reason, I like this one. Maybe it was the colors or the landscapes, or the tons of different objects it presented. Maybe it was the dinosaurs. It certainly wasn't the story or the plot, but it just felt good playing it. The background music was kind of catchy and upbeat. I got off on the ending credits where the couple was supposed to be relaxing far away from the lost world and its denizens, and then a small dinosaur starts sneaking across the screen behind them. Sequel in 20 years?

Not much to say here. The entire game consisted of hidden object scenes (and not very interesting ones at that), tied to a familiar, yet uneven, storyline. Deduct a star if you abandon these types of games before finishing them.

I enjoyed this game, although it had a familiar storyline (evil queen, friend turns out to be villain, etc.) and mini-games that were way too easy to solve. However, I played through some of the most imaginative and beautiful levels I've ever seen, and that is why I love this style of fantasy game. I'm also glad that the authors indicated a sequel is forthcoming. Now, if they beef up the challenges a little more, the next game should rate 5 stars.

Well, ERS Game Studios has done it again. Like "Gothic Fiction: Dark Saga", this game is just enormous in scope and storyline. Talk about value, you can play this game for hours and then play it again. The level design is excellent, the music is enchanting, and the mini-games are at just the right challenge level. The hidden object scenes don't overwhelm the rest of the game, and mixing standard HO fare with the silhouette version keeps them fresh. The scenery is gorgeous and there is stage after stage of discovery. I hope that ERS continues their new tradition and releases many more games like this.

Well, Elephant Games really outdid themselves this time. Following the example set by ERS and their new generation of hidden object games, Surface: Mystery of Another World is breathtaking in its scope, absorbing in its storyline, and first rate in its level design. The hidden object scenes are just enough not to overwhelm the rest of the game, and the new trick of needing an item from your inventory to "find" an object, but not having it at the time you first play the scene, adds another dimension to the game play. The mini-games are some of the most imaginative I've encountered and they are at just the right challenge level - some difficult but none impossible. The storyline keeps you involved all the way - to the point where I can forgive the fact that the character's voices were not always synchronized to the actor's lips. However, that's just a technical glitch that does nothing to reduce the enjoyment of playing this game.

Wow, talk about value for the money, this game just goes on and on, into ever more fascinating rooms, chambers, and areas. Its depth is huge! The scenery is top notch, the music (while a little monotonous) is great, and the storyline kept my interest. The mini-games are evenly balanced between puzzles and hidden object scenes, most of which are challenging without being frustrating. ERS Game Studio is pulling out all the stops in their latest generation of games and is making an outstanding effort to leave the player enchanted and wanting more.
