Imagine my excitement upon seeing a new Spellarium! I have them all, gives me hours if not days, weeks or even months of play & replay. They're all just a little different, enough to make you want to see what's new. The last one, Spellarium 7 was a challenge! The only thing I would ask for and miss in this edition is the morphing bomb tiles...I like that they gave you a choice as to which power-up to use. Sometimes, you just need a little lightning!
All in all, I recommend this one, though I'm only less than halfway through. I like that they give a choice of mahjong, find the difference, cards or puzzle at the start of each new building. And MAN those fit-together puzzles are CHALLENGING, but I am determined to finish each one!

I have purchased every Match Ventures game...my excitement rises seeing each new game and this was no exception. This is a match-3 game on steroids...LOTS to do, so many levels! This developer keeps it fresh with new twists for each new game, challenges you, makes you pay attention. I always play on 'Relaxed' mode...don't need the stress of beating the clock. If I had any improvement suggestions, it'd be a way to convert your accumulated gold into 'treats' for the donkey. Gems are few and far between. I might also suggest repairing all your castles/properties regularly. And don't forget your battles and caves! It has been my mission to complete all accepted quests, so stay sharp!

After having finishing Rescue 12 (I've got them all), I've been disappointed in this one. I am already up to Level 40 and keep expecting some of the challenge & excitement from the previous games, but it's just not happening. As always, there is a bit of challenge to collect necessary resources but having only 6 to 9 locations per level to build/collect from makes it a little easier to restart if you get stuck. Not real crazy about the collectibles but guess it'll make more sense when I get done with the game (?). Graphics/colors/gameplay flawless, as usual.
I do recommend this for passing time and/or if you have never played any Rescue games before...good one to "cut your teeth" on.

What more can I say than it's Spellarium! Immediate buy...immediate play. I've got them all so far so this was a no-brainer. You cannot...I repeat CANNOT...go wrong with this game. Hours, days, weeks, months of play. If you've never played this series before, may I suggest you start with original Spellarium and work your way up...there are 6 before this one!! Happy gaming!

Okay, so it's not rocket science - it's not meant to be - but I, for one, would like to THANK Domini for offering us a refreshing HO that isn't wizards, spooks, spells, dragons (you get my drift). I pretty much gave up on buying HOs several months ago because they've become so predictable...I bought this one right away and am thoroughly enjoying the gameplay! Your usual fare for HOs with twists, tasks to complete yet I'm not "plowed under" with puzzles that frustrate me. AND the big plus is Domini giving you Match 3 option on the HOs.
The graphics are beautifully done, locations are rich in color and detail, dialogues kept to the minimum and very captivatingly cute storyline. To say I'd like more kinds of these games is an understatement. I may be in the minority but I like this game!

Hello, my old friend! I've been waiting and waiting...IMMEDIATE buy! What can I say...I eagerly await ALL Vacation Adventures & Christmas Wonderlands! Just enough of a challenge to find everything on the list AND make sure I get my Wildlife, Recyclables and photos. Familiar yet still fun puzzles. I am never disappointed.
Only wish some of my other favorite games could have continued on like these have (I miss you, Weird Park).

I have ALL the Vacation Adventures (Park Ranger & Cruise Director) and ALL the Christmas Wonderland games. I so enjoy playing these hidden object games as they are relaxing yet challenging. Hours of play. They're not as easy as it may seem...I always make it a point to find all the Recycling/Wildlife.

Oh how I wait for these games each year! It's always an instabuy for me. Yeah, the actual game play doesn't change much from year to year, the themes are different but the same...but I can look forward to several hours if not days to complete the game. The graphics...always WOW! They get me into the "spirit". These are not only for the HO lover...the puzzles they intersperse are not difficult but can be challenging. I can tell you...you WILL be challenged to find all the items (including the toys, trees and snapshot signs). I like to challenge myself to make the bonus for each scene. Does it sound like I recommend this game? Yes...yes I do.

I wait patiently for new games that are rooted in modernity. I bought this without hesitation and am not a bit disappointed! It's a good, long game, not a lot of bling (but that's ok), storyline that actually held my interest, minimal back-and-forth through the scenes. The graphics are crisp, clear, in-focus with not overly-done color saturation that I'm seeing in many of the newer games these days. I was a little put-off by previous comments in the ratings about too many puzzles, but I found the puzzles delightfully refreshing yet challenging and mostly easy enough that I wasn't almost instantly hitting the skip button. Actually, I feel there is a good balance between HOs and puzzles. All-in-all, this is a good thriller that I highly recommend if you're looking for a change from castles, witches, golems, spooks and, well, the unreal.
