Waaaaaa, don't like to complain but this is NOT my Hidden Expedition of memory. Played my first Hidden Expedition: Smithsonian Hope Diamond in 2013, Smithsonian Castle 2014 (both Collector's Editions) and have purchased each and every subsequent Hidden Expedition without a second thought. This one is not so much a history lesson (no fact cards) as the others as it is another HO adventure story, rather cartoonish scenes and characters, over-saturation of colors and, while there's much to do in each scene, just lacks excitement of the original games. Also, can't skip through much of the dialogue so you're just trapped there until they finish. I do like this developers option of Match-3 in the HO's. The map works well enough and the ability to see what extras you need to find in each scene is a plus. Note to all developers: a little realism goes a long way with some of us. Please don't stop producing Hidden Expeditions, just please re-visit the originals to see why they have been such favorites in the Big Fish world.
What a deliciously long, detailed and challenging game! The visuals are stunning and each scene is intricately done. I agree that some of the objects are VERY tiny and hard to spot, but I play for fun, not to be timed, and am not averse to using the HINT button! I'm only up to Nevada right now, but this has been several days of play...what a great way to pass the long hours and keep your eyes & mind focused!

I am currently playing Roads of Time and I like it! Ok, maybe it's a lot like the other Strategy/Time Management games and maybe it's a little too "simplistic" for lots of folks, but I've had to restart several levels while playing because I trapped myself without adequate resources to move ahead, sooooo...you DO have to strategize your moves and I'm not finding that in some of the most recent games I've purchased. I like the graphics and boy do the guys move fast when you activate the speed bonus! Poking ahead on the map, I see there are several additional levels to be played, so I'm thinking this is a great little game without the collector's edition price!

Oh yeah! Thank you, devs, for shooting this out to us during these stay-at-home times! I always instantly buy ALL Vacation Adventures, Cruise Adventures, Christmas Wonderlands. I have absolutely NO complaints (uhm, is it just me or are the hidden objects getting really small??) Perfect game, as always!

I love the 12 Labours games! This one is another addition to my collection. I find them fun, eye-appealing, not too challenging and definitely make use of my free time. There is a 12 Labours X out there and I hope we get that offered to us here on Big Fish.

I've just started this game...bought it on BOGO weekend to be able to purchase another one I've wanted. This is not my first Bonfire Stories and, though I can see the point of the commenters with the low ratings, I've been completely challenged with this game so far! I have been a Big Fisher for years and "cut my teeth" on HOG's, though I have to admit I've become jaded and bored with them as they've all become same old-same old. Now this one comes along and is an HO lover's dream come true! I don't think I'd recommend this for beginners...for old, experienced eyes such as mine, many of the items are very difficult to spot and I've spent a lot of time searching the so-called "junk piles". I like that it is not puzzle-heavy and I like the concept of following the map to advance to the next scene. I truly appreciate the story being rooted in modernity and want to thank the developers for changing things up enough to keep me interested! Oh, and I don't necessarily buy a game for the "bling"...the extra time I get to spend on any game is enough for me.

I love tm/strategy games and am always looking for a new one to play. This game is wonderfully fresh and unique in its approach...lots to do with new and varied tasks to perform! The dialogues are not long and drawn out and can be skipped through quickly if you prefer. Little hidden owls are fun (and not always easy) to find. All the mechanics of this game have worked flawlessly for me and I was easily drawn into the storyline. I usually play on the relaxed or easy mode as I like going at my own pace but I can see this would be a challenge if you prefer timed. No Vikings or witch doctors in Golden Trails and I suggest you give it a try!
I recommend this game!

Oh how I wait for these "gems" to show up, especially as standard versions so I can use up my free game codes! I love HO adventure games and this one sure did not disappoint. I became immersed in the storyline right from the beginning. I am not much of a puzzle lover and I ended up skipping many of them in this game for they were too much brain-draining but I thoroughly enjoyed the HO's and finding all the collectibles (not any easy task!). There is no map and you do have to travel back and forth among scenes (I ended up using the hint button...a LOT). I couldn't stop playing Adera and get the impression there will be more Adera released in the future, which I will be eagerly awaiting. I very much recommend this game for the "more experienced" player looking for good long challenging gameplay.

I bought this game, hoping for a little more "pizzazz" than the last couple of Argonauts games. Alas, it was not to be. This game is just more of the same - gathering, building, more gathering, crush the golems and banish ghostly figures. No challenge here. There are no hidden caches to find, no attacks to quell, no surprises. I also found the "spin to add bonuses" portion of the extras very tedious and entirely too time-consuming. Though the colors and graphics are very clear, I agree with the previous reviewer this was very much a let-down after the latest Roman Adventures adventure. I really cannot recommend this game to anyone other than those looking for something with which to pass the time. Sorry, Developers, but you need to step up your game with this series.

I have been waiting for Season 2 of this game! I bought it immediately, am not even through with the 4th stage and I'm am not disappointed!! There is so much challenge and things to do...not to mention finding all those hidden caches. I love they've added the button at the top telling you how many caches you have found (I don't remember if this feature was in the Season 1 game). This is such a superb game and ranks right up there in my book with the Hero of the Kingdom series! Don't be intimidated by all the complexities and tasks...once you get into the game you won't want to stop. Many thanks to the Developers!!
