I've been getting bored with these kind of games lately but they've done a nice job with the mini-games and I really enjoy finding items in each new scene so the little "familiars" are fun. Reminds me of another game where you had to find little eye monsters, which I really liked as well.
The story isn't anything new but the fresh take on mini-games, good voice acting and nice graphics make this game well worth my money.
I recommend this game!

This is the first game that I ever saved the music from. There's a piano piece called Ink Demon that's quite beautiful and I'd like to save it to my listening library.
Great game, well acted and illustrated with an interesting story... but that music! Did I mention how much I liked it?
I recommend this game!
Janet and Brad thought they were going on a peaceful holiday until an unfortunate breakdown stopped them outside Frankenstein Burg!

There are a lot of good things about this if you don't mind basic, old school game play. I like how the dev puts tidbits of history and interesting facts in the game to find, the story was cute and didn't take itself seriously and I thought the graphics in the hidden puzzles was very good and rather challenging. However some of the puzzles were maddening, like a pipe game that reset itself after 30 seconds. I don't like timed games anyway and that was nowhere near enough time for me to figure it out. Another was a fishing game that require you to catch 100 fish. ONE HUNDRED! That's when I stopped. I played 29 minutes and enjoyed it but those two puzzles were enough to put me off the game.
I don't recommend this game.

The story was different enough that it kept me interested, the music's gorgeous and the main male character is very good looking... I wouldn't mind seeing him in future games. There were a few voice actors that were sort of meh, but overall, this was a visually beautiful, well made game that was very entertaining to play. I like it enough that I'm thinking of replaying the whole thing again today.
I recommend this game!

I've been getting bored with many of the new games released lately but this one has managed to capture my interest and it's a delight to play. I've always liked this developer and they've done a beautiful job on this. The story is different enough that I'm not rolling my eyes at every scene, the HOPs are fun and I'm enjoying just looking at the gorgeous artwork. Nicely done.
I recommend this game!
Puss in Boots just showed up at my office with a request. Help investigate the kidnapping of his beloved and delve into a world full of secrets!

The translation/grammar will probably bother some people but I actually enjoy the weird sentence structure... it kind of adds to the oddness of the story. There's a real hodgepodge here but it all comes together for a very enjoyable and fun game. I think the graphics are very attractive, the hidden object scenes are challenging and the weird assortment of characters had me playing this game much later than I should have been up last night. This really is a little gem of a game.
I recommend this game!

Beautiful graphics, very good voice acting, interesting plot and fun game play. The bonus game was very well done too. One of the best games I've played lately.

The story was very good, the writing and dialog were excellent, and the "final" stories included in the bonus content were beautifully written and fitting for the characters. The game is obviously visually beautiful but the game play is actually very challenging and those skulls are crazy hard to spot. I can't find a single thing to complain about, this game is amazing. Big, big kudos to the developers for providing a thoughtful and well made game.
I recommend this game!

The cursor doesn't change to show you what to pick up or where to go although you do get a magnifying glass if there's a close-up so it makes the game rather challenging. I like the artwork, I think it's kind of evocative of old sepia tone photos and the music is pleasant and unobtrusive. I have no idea what the story is but I'm enjoying trying to figure out what to do next since this isn't a particularly easy game (for me anyway.) It's a real change of pace, and you should approach it with an open mind.
I recommend this game!
Persecuted by ill fate, the elven nation land on a lost island. They'll need sharp blades as well as sharp minds to survive.

The hidden object scenes are timed and many of the objects are incredibly small and difficult to see even when you're looking right at them Not a good combination for a fun game.
I don't recommend this game.
