What was the game like? Don't know. The voice-over at the beginning was the worst I've ever encountered. It sounds like someone who can barely read was struggling with the script. BFG just keeps getting worse and worse.
I don't recommend this game.
Old friends reunite for Halloween, but Death has other plans!

This is one of the worst games I've played in quite some time. Elephant once was the best developer on BFG, but ever since BFG was sold originally, Elephant games have become cartoonish and childish in every way. Domini is my least favorite dev, and Elephant is now a close second.
I don't recommend this game.

There were so many aspects of the game that were extremely well done. That said, there were times when objects would just disappear during certain scenes and puzzles. There were also puzzle after puzzle where I had no idea what to do. Some of them didn't even have instructions. This made the game progressively frustrating. I doubt I will ever play it again. This game feels very rushed. It's a vast improvement over the 2024 MCF game, but there are things GrandMa needs to improve. I hope the suggestions in many of these reviews are put into the next MCF that will come out in November.
I don't recommend this game.

I have just about given up on graphics quality for BFG games other than 5BN games. This renewed my hopes! After adjusting the quality in the settings, this game will play at 240hz and 4k. If you've played the Twistingo games, this looks much like those and sometimes plays like them too, but with an adventure story. The only thing I don't understand is why they didn't use voices. Most people have high-speed internet, so I don't see game size as being a good reason. Other than that, I say definitely at least trial this game.
I recommend this game!

I'll say that I agree this is an amazing game. That said, parts 2 and 3 are available on another platform. Just do a website to find which one. When played back to back, it makes for a very long game that you won't want to miss.

Friendly Fox is one of my favorite remaining HOG adventure game developers. I love this game series as well, and this latest game is up to the same standards as the prior games in this series. I suggest at least giving it a trial.

Friendly Fox is by far one of the best remaining adventure game developers on BFG. This is one of my favorite series and, once again, they have done an outstanding job. I highly recommend it and suggest you at least use the trial.

This is yet another great game for the last truly great original BFG adventure game developer.
As to the profile issue people are speaking of, I'm not sure why they've chosen to do this either, but there is a solution which I've used for all BF games over the years. It requires some effort, but only takes a few seconds once you learn what to do.
Do a windows search for FILE EXPLORER OPTIONS
When the dialog opens, switch to the VIEW tab. Now select SHOW HIDDEN FOLDERS from the selections shown. (You will only have to do this part one time, unless you remove and reinstall an operating system.)

Once this is done, open WINDOWS EXPLORER (if you don't know what this is, you can do another search for it) select your C drive, then your USERNAME (this is unique for you), then APPDATA, then ROAMING and then find the FIVE-BN folder and delete it. All game data will now be deleted.
Now you can restart the game from the beginning.
After I finish a BF game, I uninstall it, and then I do this procedure. When I later reinstall the game, it's like I've never played it before. Hope this helps

This is the worst MCF game yet. Last year's wasn't very good, but I don't even feel like finishing this one. I truly wish the graphics quality across BFG would move higher than the current cartoon look of every single developer. These cheesy graphics have done more to kill adventure games than any other factor. We are all paying more and getting less from BFG for the past few years.
I don't recommend this game.
