Alawar did it again this time, with a completely unique storyline like never before. I am not a big fan of scifi theme, movies or stories alike, but given the super positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. The graphics are crisp and the movies are well done. I feel like I was in a 3D or a ride in theme parks, they look and feel so real. The story is totally different than what I have in mind, it was taken 360degrees different than the beginning of the game, but it was still fun throughout the end. I especially grateful with the map, without it, I would probably totally lost. This game changes my mind a bit about scifi although I still need lots of convincing. Overall it is a great game. Even a no scifi fan like me can enjoy it, I am sure everyone will.

I liked their first two installments so I bought this game without even trying the demo. I was a bit disappointed on the first 2 chapters. There are a lot of cut scenes, most of them are like every 5 minutes and played so suddenly it makes me dizzy. I don't like the overuse of voice over, which I think overall is not that convincing. I was confused with the story: feels like it doesn't really connect with the first two games.
Like all Alawar games, the graphic and background music are great, they're a bit creepy and I am glad there's some changes with the game: you get to choose what to do, what to converse, although this is very minimal.
There're too many back and forth in this game. There is a map but it's not interactive, so basically you really have to click 'down' more than 8 times to use an item, and then go again forward, which is annoying many times. Since most of the new Alawar games have interactive map, this one should, too.
Funny that this game doesn't have a CE (at least at the BFG) and just an SE. Anyway I am glad that I just bought the SE. I recommend this game because I like most Alawar games and the series is not bad. Hopefully the next Twisted Lands series (if there's any) will be better. This time, it's twisted.

I love the first installment of Grim Facade so I bought this one. The demo was pretty good and convinced me even more to purchase this game. But as the story goes by, there are some illogical things happen with this game, like how would you command a small dog to remove wood debris with a whistle, and how would pricking a dart to a yarn ball becomes a drum stick? there are some things that don't really make sense in this game. The first HO scenes are combining items to get another items, but that was just a few scenes, as the game progressed, it goes back to the old-fashioned HO scenes. Maybe the developer is getting pretty tired making that kind of scenes.
There are some scenes that are pretty graphic like corpses, one of them like the ghost I see in movie 'the Grudge', and I don't mind that, but I just simply dislike any kind of graphic, real or not, of hurting animal, it's truly a no-no for me.
Like the first game, there is also buying option in this game, but it's like only the until the first 5 chapters and you can only buy 4 items. After the last item is bought, you simply don't collect any more coins. I would love to buy any kind of other items, probably some food. The items sold are also weird, like just a scythe blade, what good is that without even the stick? Of course you will immediately think that you will have to buy the item to continue with the game. It's so typical.
The ending was quite interesting, I kind of guessing who is the culprit all along, but it ends so abruptly, like the dev would definitely want us to buy the CE if we want to know what's going on next.
Overall I was pretty disappointed, it;s not like the the impression I got when playing the demo.

I love all 'Grim Tales' series so I bought it almost without even trying the demo. I just played the demo for 10 minutes before buying the game. I love this game, but I love the previous ones (Legacy) better.. as always I get stuck often and need to use the strategy guide and the map (they're super useful). The voice overs are great, the graphic very clear and there are many places to explore. The demon on the other hand is not scary at all. I prefer when it was a witch. I hope there will be another installment in the series!

This year BFG gives us lots of great games, and this is one of them. After I played the demo for 10 minutes, I know it's a must-buy. The story is unique and different, it's better than other games set in hospital/ asylum/ cemeteries/ solving other agent's murder and the like, and this looks like resident evil/ silent hill for me, which are also my favorites.
First off, this game has custom setting which is great! I can control the game setting as I wanted them to be. I am not a puzzle lover so I make sure that I can use the skip button as often as I could. I love the fact also that they use real life actors for this game, and watching behind-the-scene extra, I can;t believe that the developers use their relatives to be the actors/ actresses, and still make the video and cut scenes look so awesome!
The HOG scenes are nice too, I am not used to finding and combining items so many times in a scene but after one scene, it kinda gets to you naturally.
The extra are abundant, you have concept art, behind the scene video, wallpaper, more than you can ask for.
Love this game, 5 stars for me. Top notch. Brilliant. Very recommended.

I bought this game during the CE sale and sometimes I remind myself that this is like a bonus game that I don't really pay, because I don't feel the 'oomph' with this game.
I played this game in casual.
The length of this game is fine, the strategy guide is helpful and quite detailed. The characters graphic is kind of cartoonish, not my style. The background and everything else are perfect, but the characters look like the come from storybook for children. It doesn't really fit the story of wild dogs.
The loading between scene is unbearable. I am not sure whether this is my computer, but other games work very fine and fast in the same computer. There is a lot of backtracking and there is no map, so it is frustrating and make me want to kill my computer.
The HOS and mini games are fine. I am not puzzle fan and I skip almost every puzzle of every game so I skip many of the puzzles in this game as well. Luckily the skip and hint button recharges fast.
The storyline is okay. Not the best, but alright. I thought that the wild dogs are going to be doberman or something, making it more scary and dramatic, but they're just shaggy dogs, not scary at all. They're kind of cute actually.
Overall not my favorite game and will probably not going to replay again in near future.

Like: - The graphic, i would have to disagree with some of the reviewers here, I think they're alright, I like the music, because it is kind of fit the atmosphere. I also love that they put interesting real facts of Titanic and its passengers.
- I like it that the hint refills very fast, although during the mini game, there is no skip button. Luckily there is match-3 game instead, which I use often because the mini game is confusing. Somehow I think 'match-3' game doesn't fit a historical game.
- the HOS. The items of the HOS are old and antique items, like from the 1900s, and it fits the time scene of Titanic.
Dislike: - ... the time-machine concept of helping lost spirits on the new Titanic games. It's getting old.
- The cursor. It didn't change shape at all so basically I have to click almost every item and the corners and hope for the best that it will change scene.
- The HOS. We simply go through the game only by finding objects, not much mini game aside from finding photo fragments,
- the hint button doesn't really help outside the HOS, in certain places it tells you what to do next, sometime it just gives a small sparkle, you have to really pay attention to the screen to where it is.
- the HOS items. Many times we see same item and when we click, it doesn't count. Turns out there are two items of the same name. examples of the items: spoon, ring, wrench, screws, and many more. It's weird.
I had played the demo before buying this game, and I bought this game simply because I love anything Titanic. When I first started I was quite frustrated with the cursor but I finally managed to the end and actually it was pretty good. Overall I don't feel much regret buying this game (esp. when I had this with a game coupon, I can't complain!) and if you like historical game, I think you should give this game a try.

I love games from ERS but not this one. The bad guy, coming out from nowhere with no stories to tell and no clear motive behind it... the hidden objects scenes and mini games are classic ERS, getting boring and over it after some time. I recommend you buy this game if you like the developer or have extra game coupon to use.

As a MM detective, you can interact with ghosts of famous novelist and people! I like the creepiness of the set, and as I am not American, I can learn a lot about American novels and literature. This is game you surely don't want to miss.
