I love HO games, but this one didn't tell you what to do with items once you found them. Plus it didn't tell you how to interact with them even when you found them. There were a lot of objects that had to be combined with other objects to collect them....but didn't give you ANY clues unless you used one of your hints. It's one of the worse HO games I've played so far as to the DUHHH factor.....like WHAT do I do next? Not a game for me.

I saw all the high reviews for this game and just had to try it. OH....it gave me a headache!! I know so many people seemed to love it, but I'm not one of them. Objects were very hard to see, there is no story at all....which, to be fair, people wrote and said there wasn't. But, I was still hoping for something pretty great. I just didn't see it with this one. Sorry folks....it's not for me. I think I would even say it's the worse HO game I've tried so far.
I don't recommend this game.

I haven't played any of the Agatha Christie HO games, so I thought I'd try this one. I really loved the "Murder She Wrote" game and bought it, so I was hoping this would be close to that one. Not! I've played the MSW game several times and find it relaxing and enjoyable and wanted this one to be the same. It was way too hard to find objects for me and I'd run out of clues. How was I supposed to find "fallen boulders" when the screen was full of boulders? And, how do you find "boulders IN A ROW" when there are rows and rows of boulders? In addition, they didn't have the option of a non-timed game and I'd run out of time. I just couldn't get into it....I deleted it after only about 25 minutes....disappointing.

I should have read better I guess. I'm just not a fan of HO games that only show the outline of the objects. I prefer to look for items listed as to what they are. This game had very good graphics....sound I don't know, I usually turn that off...but for me, that didn't make up for it being hard to see objects by just their outline. I just didn't really like the game at all.

I wanted to like this but didn't. I don't think it gave enough help as to where to go next and what I was really looking for or trying to do. I know "hard core" HO lovers probably liked the challenge, but I like to play the HO games for just plain fun and relaxation....this one didn't give me that. I just was never sure what I was looking for and why. Sorry to all those who did love it.

I've deleted SO many HO games lately I was about to give up. I'm glad I tried this one. I actually did get caught up in it. Some HO games make the objects SO small or hard to find that I don't have fun....this one didn't do that. The objects are fairly easy to find....I like that so I can get on with it. The Hint button is very helpful in telling you where to go next without actually "using" up your hint....some games I've tried sort of leave me hanging and running all over the place trying to figure out where in the heck to go next until I just get frustrated and delete them. This one lets you know just where to go in each scene.....you may see 2 or 3 arrows, but just click the Hint button and it will tell you which direction to take. There are a few "gloomy" things in there, but that's expected if you get shipwrecked and don't know where you are. I'm not going to write a lot here because I'm not really good at writing them....I never know what to say. But other reviewers have already said a lot of the same things I would say.....I found this game VERY fun and relaxing to play. I highly recommend it.

I was SO disappointed in this game because the graphics were absolutely beautiful and I like the storyline.....a huge refreshing break from all the gore and ghosts in most of the HO games. But even before my trial was up, my head and eyes were hurting. I don't think the developers should have made EVERYTHING so VERY small. That is the ONLY reason I only gave this one 2 stars....I couldn't SEE most of the objects and I have good eyesight.

I still play it anyway because I'm used to them now. But, I have wasted Hints when I tried and tried to place an object where it should go, but it wouldn't put it there. I clicked on Hint, and by gosh, that IS where they put it. You HAVE to make sure you're on the "sweet spot" when placing. But it's still fun and interesting....you collect coins, you find magnifying glasses around the room to get extra hints, there are a lot of rooms and I just think it's relaxing to play. OH....and you can find "bombs" hidden in the room, blow them up and it will flash the screen blank except for the objects you need....for a few seconds. You can also look for magnets and pick them up.....objects you need will begin to point toward them. Lots of different things to do....just a fun, relaxing game to play and get away from all the blood and gore showing up in LOTS of the HO games.

I love HO games, but I'm getting SO tired of all the gory stories with ghosts, demons, goblins, dead people....and so on. This one is simple...kids would like it too....and FUN to play. Things are very easy to find. You go to different locations to make potions after you collect all of the ingredients from these different locations. It gives you the recipe plain and clear. It's just a delightful, fun game to play and relax for a while and get away from the gory games that I've even had bad dreams about after playing....and I'm an adult. God only knows what kind of dreams they give to children who play them. Come on BF.....give us some more cute, fun, delightful HO games to play and try and limit the "scary" and gory ones....you can do that....right?

This game is really fun to play. I've went back to create new profiles to play it over and over. The objects are easy to find. You look for objects that help you find the amount of crystals for a level. In later levels you have to find blocks with numerals on them....forgot what they're called....and the hint button recharges fast. But I don't have to use it often. I like the story line, but I don't read it often....it sort of tells its own story as you go. You look for objects and some are put in your inventory....it's easy to know what to use them on and you don't get a penalty if you try and use the wrong one. You do go to different places, but it's not dark and gloomy like a lot of the HO games have become....I like that. I'm SO tired of seeing ghosts, goblins, dead people and just plain gory things in a lot of the games coming out. If you just want a plain fun and relaxing game to play, give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I wasn't.
