You’re on a train in the middle of nowhere, and a band of dangerous thieves demand you tell them where to find the Hope Diamond’s shards. As the newest Hidden Expedition recruit, you’ve got to find the shards before they do…
I didn't like any of the other Hidden Expedition games, but this one is really GREAT!! It's the most fun and challenging game I've played in a long time. Lots of puzzles...some easy, some not so easy. Morphing objects in the HO puzzles and a little morphing light in the lower right corner lights up after you find it, plus the strategy guide has a section that tells you were they all are.....and tells you where all of the Fact Cards are and the Smithsonian Symbols. The graphics are great, the story is great, everything about this game is really great. I've already played it twice to make sure I got everything. I'm going to play it again because I missed some of the Smithsonian symbols somehow. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who likes a challenge and a great game with lots of surprises. OH....there are also sort of mini HO games before the "real" HO game is most of these....the first I've seen this in any of the games I've played. Again, a great game!!
I recommend this game!

Awakening Kingdoms
You are chosen by Queen Sophia to restore her kingdom back to its former glory through fun mini-games and beautiful hidden object scenes.
I'm on my second day playing this game. My hat is off to the creators....but I almost feel you have to have a Master's Degree in almost everything to figure out this game. I could NEVER figure out many things without the strategy guide. And, be prepared....this game is VERRRY LOOONG! That's why I'm on my second day. It remains to be seen if I can collect all the money, bobble heads and hidden cards. But, it's really a great game....but I'm not sure if I'm enjoying it or just determined to finish. I'm sure I'll play it again to see if I can master ANYTHING in here. Boy....it's really the hardest and most complicated HO game I've ever played....and I have a LOT of them. I gave it 4 stars just because it's SO hard. I'm a bit on the fence about it though.....I like to play to accomplish and figure out....this game is very hard to figure out. VERY complicated

I'm on my second time playing this one and do love it. Great graphics, storyline, morphing objects...everything is great. There's just three things I'd prefer to see in a CE game that IS in the other two House Of 1000 Doors games that I have.
1. The map should show if you've collected the morphing objects like the other two do. 2. The windows don't close when you've finished collecting every object in it. I keep looking and clicking to see if there's something else to pick up. I'd prefer if the windows close automatically when there's nothing else to do there. 3. The Strategy Guide doesn't give detailed directions on a puzzle. ex: which arrow to push in sequence, etc. I'd have preferred more direction on a few harder ones...none was there.
With those things being said, I still love the game and would recommend it to anyone to play. And....it's a VERY long game, so get comfortable and be ready to play for a long time. I didn't finish the bonus game....will today....I was just tired. :-)
I've already played this three times now. What a fun and different game. Graphics are very well done, had a different twist to it by having you melt things....you'll have to see that for yourself. It's well worth buying and I highly recommend it. I love the fact that the HO scenes are not that difficult. I hate to play some of them where things are so small and hard to find ...not in this one. You can also make the difficulty a "custom" one by sliding the button and make the hints and skips recharge in only 10 seconds....but I found I didn't need it much. You use the collected items fairly quickly. Just a very fun game.
I've already played this one 3 times. It is just FUN! Great graphics, great storyline....and the biggest bonus? The MAP!! There may be more like this, but I don't have them. This is the first interactive map I've come across that has a little square on the spot if there is a hidden object there....and when you find it, it's not there. Saved me a LOT of time hunting around for the objects AND not wasting time looking in scenes I've already been to.
The only thing I wish the games SE or CE would do is give is a BONUS for finding all the hidden objects (Morphing Objects). Come on guys....I went back to play the game twice to get all of them....didn't know the map showed them until I read it in the forum or a review....and I have to say it's very disappointing when you go to all that time, trouble and hunting and there's no bonus game at the end.
Other than that, this is a great, fun game to play.
WOW....I can't say enough good things about this game. What a refreshing change from all the gore, ghosts, dead bodies, etc. The graphics are great, the storyline is great, it's fun to play, you have cupcakes to collect....it's just a really FUN game to play. I went and bought it as soon as the trial ran out because I just wanted to see more and play more of it. A definite winner here!!
I totally agree with another reviewer who said there is WAY too many popups from the guy in the game....I don't know if I like this game or not. I quit after getting frustrated with him popping up all the time. Is that really necessary?? I can read and I want to play the game myself...not have a head pop up every time I move my mouse telling me where I am, what I just saw and anything else he can think of to say. Next time, leave that to the hint button. This one is a definite delete game.
....and I don't normally even like time management games. But this game is fun, challenging, interesting and every other good thing you can say about it. I play it a bit every day since I've had it. It can get more challenging when I end up buying too much wood or tools when I need bricks....so you have to "manage", which is what the game is.....time management, but this one is more that "time"....you have to also manage what you buy. But, LOVE, LOVE this game!!
The one thing I don't understand is that when I upgrade something in the Villa, the looks of it doesn't change....what gives there? I have "Gardenscapes" and when you upgrade something there, you can see the changes. Am I doing something wrong here?
I usually go for the HO games, but I got a bit tired of them and decided to try this ball popper game. BOY was I surprised. I love Luxor, but I think this just may be my new popper game. This is really fun to play. I'd give it a try if I were you.
