I bought this without demo because of the good reviews. I certainly don't regret it. A fun game with a different storyline, great graphics, color and animations, good voice-overs and sound effects.
Lots of HOS but they were actually unique and fun to play and took some thought. Had to use the hint to get started on some of them though.
Custom settings allowed you to set the hint and skip to 5 seconds which kept the game moving along smoothly, which it did. Mouse pointers were a bit awkward at times and you had to be sure you were placed correctly to get things to work right. Transporter map was great. All in all, a fun entertaining game with a good length...not too short or long.
Mini games/puzzles were easy at times and a bit tedious at time. I played the ones I wanted and skipped the others. Great value for your $$!

Hate to be the decenter here, but although the game moved along smoothly I became annoyed by the amount of HOS. I like a game with HOS but not so many that every twist and turn has one. Some were really easy and others were tedious. There is an option to put together a puzzle, however that wasn't something I was interested in. Mini games were plenty too and as some were fun, the others were same-o and got tiresome.
Storyline was an over-used one so nothing new there. Voice overs were really bad and stilted and there was a lot of dialog, some you could skip, others you had to endure.
Color, graphics and animations were good and the transporter map was a great help and efficient. I had custom set the skip and hint to refresh quickly which made the game move along more smoothly. I did "like" the game, but found it getting tedious toward the end and was OK with the length. Just an average game as was worth the $ spent...but nothing to write home about.

For the life of me I can't understand how this game is getting all the good reviews it gets. Not only is it a very boring game with absolutely no challenge or ability to use strategy, the graphics are blurry and childish. The music horrible and all those annoying sounds...good grief. WHY?
The storyline is a foolish, the "boyfriend" in the story who is apparently landscaping his girlfriends home looked so much like a girl I thought it was a story about two women. Dialog is foolish to boot.
Game requires NO strategy and the only way it gets "harder" is each level takes longer and is more monotonous. I am actually amazed I finished this game and didn't trash it after about 5 levels. The only saving part is I got it on a deal and didn't pay full price.
Again, the only reason I gave it 2 stars is I really dislike the word "hate". Wish they would rename the 1 star level so I could use it on loser games like this one.

Although the game felt a bit short it could only be because I actually enjoyed playing it. Golem stories seem to be the rage right now, but this one was actually somewhat lighthearted and fun to play.
Smooth gameplay and the HOS were very interactive and varied which made the amount of them fun to play. Puzzles were also fun and I played most (which is unusual for me) and left some that appeared to be tedious. Custom setting allowed you to set gameplay the way you wanted. Always a plus.
Graphics, animations and color were very good as were the voice-overs. I always turn the music off so can't comment on that. Transporter map was very good and was needed because the game occasionally would jump around a bit.
I got it with a credit, but would not have felt "taken" if I had paid full price. If you are a hardcore player who wants a super difficult game, this is probably not for you...but I found it a lot of fun...especially with that little golem.

I usually don't post a review after only playing the demo, but I'm not sure if this is a buyer. Awkward game-play. Not real smooth. Game even seems to lag technically a bit.
Transporter map is also awkward and takes awhile to get used to where to click for movement...lots of circles etc. You can customize your game-play to set for no tutorial and fast refresh on the skip and hint which is always good in my book.
A lot of dialog which you can skip, but annoying just the same. I really dislike those sidebars which keep popping in outlining you tasks AND telling you that it has been accomplished. Those seem to be popping up in a lot of games and they are really, really annoying. The game curser is way too big and clumsy but it can be changed. HOS are interactive but also awkward and the puzzles the same.
All in all, I don't feel its worth the $$, maybe a credit or on sale. Play the demo, you may like it or not.

I think I have all the Mystery Tracker games and have enjoyed them so I purchased this without demo with a credit. Glad it was only a credit.
Game was very, very dark. HOS were almost impossible to find some of the objects as they were hidden in completely dark areas and you just clicked around until you found them. HOS were varied, but frustrating...and there were a lot of them. Puzzles, the same and I skipped almost all of them. Options set-up allowed you to set both the hint and skip to refresh quickly and it served one well in this game.
Gameplay was not smooth and sometimes awkward which made the game very tiring to play...I was really glad when it ended. Storyline, gameplay...all very stilted...not like the previous Mystery Tracker games.
Transporter map was needed as the game was one of those pick up here, use it there games. I used the hint and skip a lot which I don't usually do in a game, but this game made it necessary. I felt the game was not a very long game, which was good in this case. Glad I didn't pay $$ for this one and you won't miss a thing if you don't play it.
Turned down the music immediately and voice overs could be annoying.

Found this for $2.99 and needed one more on the last day of the month to keep from losing all my credits. Bought without demo because of all the star reviews. Apparently I had downloaded this game before and dumped it before finishing the demo.
Slooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww gameplay. I really tried this time to work my way through. Even on the "easy" option, the hint and skip refreshed slowly, or just may have seemed that way because the game was so boring. One of those "pick up something here, now go all the way back and place it" games...arrrrrgh. Good thing it had a good transporter map. Voice-over for the main character was horrible..sounded like he was bored to death (maybe he had tried to play the game)! Finally could not take it anymore and shut it down about the time they entered the cave.
I would have given it a 1 star, but I don't like the word "hate".
Graphics and animations were pale on some scenes and vibrant on others. Very awkward game....Very. Don't waste your money...even at $2.99.

Unfortunately I left my review on the Collector's Edition by mistake so I'll try to repeat here. This was a fun game with good voice-overs, great graphics/animations and color. However, once again the developers left the ending hanging and didn't close out the game well. What happened to Tula and Bart? Good grief.
HOS were interesting and interactive and there were a lot of puzzles which could be tedious. Thanks to a custom setting mode which allowed for short refresh on skip and hint I was able to skip most of the puzzles...not a puzzle person anyway.
Gameplay was smooth, but you definitely needed to use the transporter map to move around and well as the hint sometimes. I found that game somewhat challenging and enjoyed the story which I thought was unique. Too bad this game was such a disappointment at the end...sort of like the developers just got tired of it and stopped. Glad I just used a credit on it or I would have been really upset. Why do developers do that? I wonder if the CE brought it to a proper ending.

Another fantastic game which was ruined by an ending which obviously a CE was needed to conclude. Very abrupt ending that left, what I felt, was the whole story hanging. What happened to the Bart and Tula? Good grief.
Voice-overs, animations and graphics were very good, except the mouths didn't move, which is no biggy but I know that drives some gamers crazy. HOS were inventive and interactive but the puzzles could be time consuming so I skipped most of them. Puzzle lovers will love this game as there appeared to be quite a few of the. Thanks to the custom mode which allowed one to reduce the hint/skip time I was able to stride right past most of them.
Gameplay was smooth, but you did need to access the map to move around as well as the hint at some points. Totally enjoyed the game until the end...what a disappointment. Why do developers do that? Glad I just used a credit on this one. Fun game, but be prepared for a loser ending.

Apparently I had downloaded this game once before and only played a few minutes of it...not sure why, but I re-started the game and thoroughly enjoyed it.
A nice length with very good graphics and animations. Voice overs are good, but for those who get bothered by mouths not moving correctly it will drive you crazy! Storyline has been used before but works OK here and is enjoyable.
Lots of puzzles some tedious other very quick to solve which made it fun. I skipped the tedious ones...don't have a lot of patience with puzzles. HOS were very interesting and enjoyable. Game moved along very smoothly. Transporter map is a must and is very good.
Different chapters in this game as the protagonist tries to get her daughter back and that made it interesting. I got this on a "deal", but would not feet upset if I had paid full price. Nice length for a SE and ended well. Honestly, I don't know what more the CE would have to offer.
