This had a unique storyline, but I think its just about time to retire the puppet theme. I have played the whole series and its getting a little old.
Skipped all the puzzles/mini games...too tedious. HOS were interactive with some lists and some shadow..but nothing really new. Graphics and animations, as always were terrific but the game (which started out good) began to get a bit boring toward the end...just lost its steam I guess you could say. The game seemed a bit short for a SE or maybe I was just ready to see it end.
Custom setting allowed you to set the hint and skip to 5 seconds, which was good and eliminate the tutorial. I always like a game with custom settings.
Transporter map was very good as the game did move you around a bit. I got this on special, but I am pretty sure I would have been a bit upset if I had paid full price. I'd recommend waiting for a deal or use a credit.

I've never given a total 5 star to a game before, but this one filled the bill. Excellent graphics and animations, voice overs and challenge. Storyline has been used before, but really worked in this game.
A long game for a SE with multiple dimensions of gameplay. Totally loved it. HOS were varied and interactive and puzzles were new most of the time.
Only "cons" were minor...had to turn the music down, it was a bit annoying, some of the HOS were "shadow" and were black on blue so they could be difficult to see and scene changes were a bit delayed. All minor to a great game.
Loved every minute of it. Hard to break away from. Custom setting allows you to set hint/skip recharge which is always good for me. I found the game challenging even on the easy setting and had to use the hint more than I usually do in a game. Transporter map was needed and was very useful.

I demoed this and it looked really good, although the demo seemed to quit early and I thought this might not be a good sign, but I got it on BOGO.
The color, animations, graphics were all excellent...voice overs acceptable and I turned the music down. Story seemed unique and the gameplay was OK, but seemed a bit choppy and scenes changed a bit slow which made the gameplay lag.
Storyline was different but after purchasing the game it went from interesting to just plain dorky. The effort that went into the HOS to make them unique backfired and they were slow and tedious as were the puzzles. I skipped most of those.
I had purchased several games in this series so I was hoping this would be worth it...it wasn't. Custom setting allows for hint/skip to refresh quickly...a total blessing. The game got pretty idiotic toward the end and I was glad when it ended. Not the longest game in the world and I would have been a little upset if I had paid full price for this.

This is probably one of the best match 3 I've played. There are so many different type of things to work toward in building this city. The power ups all have a place in acquiring what is needed to build each building. I didn't bother to read the instructions because I felt this was just another match 3 but it isn't. I still don't think I have everything figured out even though I have completed the game...however, even after the village is completed the game apparently goes on and on.
Animations, graphics and color are excellent. Gameboard is easy to see and clear. The only "cons" to the game are the music which isn't geared toward the environment. I had to turn it down, it drove me nuts and the few HOS there are in the game are VERY dark and the items are impossible to find, but you can skip it without impacting your score.
Impossible to explain this game in depth, but make sure you read the HELP and pay attention to the milestones. Love this game! A VERY long game and the perfect one to download to your laptop when you need something to keep you busy on a long flight....wear your earphones though; sound effects are amazing.

I don't think I have ever given a game a 1 star because I don't like the word "hate", but I had to make an exception for this one. Lasted only a few minutes. I thought the game looked pretty good, but then after I skipped that childish, ridiculous tutorial I could not find how to advance in the game. It told me to look for a sign on a door...I check every door...no sign...round and round I went. Only thing in my inventory looked like a camera and I couldn't even move it. I like spooky games, but this is pure trash even at $2.99.

Wow, I couldn't even finish the demo this game was so awkward and boring. Not a smooth flowing game and appeared to be a bit "dated" to me. Even on the easy mode the hint and skip refreshed slow enough to make it a finger-tapper which hampered the game even more if you weren't into tedious puzzles.
HOS were blurry and confusing and you had to click in exactly the right spot or it didn't work and items were small. Got really tired of all the puzzles...so many of the HOS an puzzles that the adventure part got lost.
Although the game was colorful, it was not crisp...always seem a bit blurry which got to the eyes after awhile.
Basically I found my mind wandering and finally realized it was just too plain boring, slow and awkward that it just wasn't holding my interest...definitely not a "gripper". So "no sale" even at a discount.
I don't recommend this game.

Wow, I've been playing BF games for a long time and this is the first time I ever ran across a game like this one. I found it totally confusing and not fun at all. Minimum instructions and I was just clicking until something came up I could play.
I guess others have played these kinds of games before, but in all my experience I've never come across such a confusing, undirected adventure game. I only lasted about 6 minutes before the confusion of the game and the music drove me nuts. Definitely not your typical adventure game.

Although somewhat short, or maybe just normal for a SE I totally enjoyed this game. Very smooth gameplay with an options setting so you can set the hint/skip to refresh real quickly which is always a plus in my book.
HOS were easy and interactive which made the game flow along well. Some puzzles I found difficult and not clear while others were very easy. I skipped the ones I didn't want to deal with...another plus for the fast skip setting.
Story different but the ending came a bit quickly and not like one would expect; I had hoped for a happier one.
Color, animations, voice-overs..it was all excellent as well as the transporter map was extremely helpful. I suspect the story may have been fleshed out a bit more in a CE or perhaps it is being set up for a sequel...one never knows.
This started out looking like it was going to be a fun match 3/builder game. However, I am now in excess of 125 levels and I have only 2 power ups/bonus which are fairly useless except when there are no moves anymore. (There is no scramble option so if you don't have a "hammer" or a "bomb" the board shuts down and you start the level over.)
It takes a great deal of "food", "magic" and "gold" to buy the village buildings so you end up playing level after level just gaining a few points each level. Still not understanding what they call Plaques which I am assuming are the colored "tiles". Apparently you don't need to clear all of these and its pretty impossible to do it anyway. You don't get points for them so why have them?
It is turning out to be one of those match 3 games you have on your computer for a long time and just come back to play when you run out of other games. Too bad they didn't design it better, it could have been good.

Actually the only thing I enjoyed about this game was the ending...it ended well. I don't know if this is just an old game or just bad. The HOS were tedious, boring, had no interaction or creativity. All the same. Puzzles were the same, some I did others I just waited for a VERY SLOW skip AND hint to refresh so I could move on.
Transporter map was OK but did not state which of the areas of Interest were next so out of as many as 5 sometimes it was basically a "take a chance" which I find a waste of time especially since there were so many sites to move between. I did start just using the hint to move around, much faster and took me where I should go.
Game was NOT a smooth running game. Very awkward to play; go here pick up one item, go there, place it, now go here; back and forth back and forth, click, click, click. And finally, if I ever have to endure another whiney animal "helper" again I'll swear I'll shut the game down. This "helper" had to be the most annoying one I've seen in a long time. Arrrrgh. Enough said. Didn't enjoy this game #colors and animations were nice, voice overs OK, Prince was handsome# and was glad when it finished. Really glad I got if for half price.
