The expedition continues... Track down the fragments of King Solomon's crown and foil a madman's plot in this exciting follow-up to the bestselling series!
I played the "try me" (as I always do) and it was so much fun in the first ten minutes I decided to buy it. The puzzles are varied so it does not get boring and there are several games to play before you get to the HO's. Music is good and sound is too. I like the way the game looks and think it is beautiful. Everything is crisp and easy to see. Story line is intriguing and keeps you wanting more. There is no use having me cover the other aspects of the game as they have been done so well already. Hope you like it as much as I do, and this may be my pick of the year.
I have all the Shadow Wolf series and they just keep getting better. They are beautifully drawn and the sound is not annoying. They flow from one thing to the next and the puzzles are not all HOS. Good storyline and easy to follow. Do the try me and see for yourself. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. With the special on it is a steal.
I did the try me of this game and could not even finish it. The game is poorly drawn, dark and the HOS have wrongly named items to find (if you can). Most things you have to double/triple click on to get them to open or do whatever. This game looks and plays like it is at least 5-6 years old. Storyline is not clear and you go all over the place for nothing. I would not play this game if they gave it away.
I have played hundreds of game so it is nice when one comes along that really grabs you. This is just such a game. Visually stunning, sound/music is excellent. The storyline is somewhat similar to some games but there is a twist to it. The HOG's are different and some have to be assembled. Lots of extra's in the CE version and with the special going on today buying it is a no brainer. As always, I say play the try me version but I bet you buy it in the first 10 minutes. Have fun!!
I loved this game. This is based on demo only as I just purchased the game and it is downloading now. There is so much to do in this game and so many places to go from the very first scene. The premise is an author is being framed for murders committed by crimes using his stories. His wife must prove him innocent and save him from the real killer. Can she do it? Does she have enough time? Can she solve all the clues? Try it and find out. It is well drawn and the voices are good and the story is riveting. I am done downloading and am going to enjoy this game on this rainy day. Great buys today on CE's. Hope you love it as much as I do.
I don't even know where to begin. The music is horrible and gets on your nerves real fast. The graphics are fuzzy and the storyline is pitiful. The HO's are so easy to do. The voices are grating and go on blathering forever. I have played all the other Echo games and they were very good. I don't know what happened to this one but they need to pull this game and do it over. This is just my opinion but I strongly urge you to do the try me for yourself before you buy this game. I would not buy this game if it were the only one out there.
A long-forgotten artifact has just resurfaced, and the race to claim it will cause a devastating war. The only thing strong enough to stop it is one woman’s promise to the man she loves.
If you like blurry scenes, HO's that the items are so small you can't see them, boring scenes, drab music then this is the game for you. This is just not a well done game. The music will put you to sleep, the voices are OK but don't really fit the person and the conversation is silly. It just about bored me to death and that is really all I can say. I can't think of a worse game in all the years I have been playing, if that gives you a hint. Terrible game for me.
I also loved the first game in this series (I hope it will be a series) and finished the Demo on this one and thought it was terrific. Held my interest all the way through and left me wanting more. Great story line, music, graphics to die for, characters you like/dislike right away, everything is set for a really great game. The games are fun and interactive. Not just hidden objects. As normal you must find some extra's in the CE. I normally don't buy CE's but I may make an exception for this one. Just have to know the end. I hope you enjoy it as much as I will.
The title says it all. I played the demo and enjoyed it so much I bought the game. I am still playing, but thought I should stop and write this. The game is well done, drawn clearly, lots of little helpers join you in the game. The story line is interesting and the hidden object games are fun (little mini-games inside them) and they are varied so you don't get bored. Help button is OK and you don't hold on to things for a long time which is nice. You use them pretty quickly in the area you are in. That saves a lot of back and forth which is annoying some times. The sound and music are good and not distracting. The game has a dark theme but the game itself is not dark at all. As usual, I suggest you play the demo and see for yourself if you like it or not. I will go play some more. Enjoy!!
The Emperor’s son has a mysterious illness. As legendary healer Daiyu, you’re called to the palace to save him, but you end up having to save yourself!
I normally don't come out so strong and say right off the bat to buy a game but this one is worth it. It is slightly different from the regular HO's we play in that you have to create magic doses of medicine to cure or take care of things (rot wood) and that is different. The story line is interesting and keeps you wanting to play. As usual the Collector's edition has some extra items to find and that is fun too. The help button is good and takes you where you need to go. Saves a lot of back and forth. The game is clear and crisp and easy to see everything. I really enjoyed it and plan on buying it, as the sale is on today and the price is right. Enjoy!!
