A late-night subway ride takes a bizarre turn into a mystical cemetery. You have been summoned by a strange entity to free the cemetery’s lost souls. Will you succeed, or is this the end of the line?
If you have played the other Redemption games (I sure hope you have - they are great fun) you will absolutely LOVE this one. I was so excited to see this game come out. It is beautifully drawn and sound and voices are great. Music is just an addition to the play and not distracting at all. There is so much to do and see. Move your cursor all over the scene as there is stuff to do and find all over the place. You get helpers along the way and lots of mini-games to play besides the hidden object scenes. The storyline is really good and just flows along. The help button is good if needed. You have to think about what needs to be done and figure out how to do it. This game is just loaded with fun from the get go. It is a buy for me when it comes out in SE. Can't swing buying the CE but just loved the try me. I will be waiting for it but hope you enjoy it as much as I will. If you haven't played the other Redemption's please try them, you will love them.
Forget those long-winded stories and dive right into the HO scenes you love! 100% Hidden Objects gives you complete control over your gaming experience.
I have been playing hidden object games for several years now and think of myself as pretty darn good. This game will put you in your place real fast. It is ALL hidden objects and granted, some are really small, but it is difficult if you play by the timers. There are a lot of different areas and places to choose from and you will never lose interest in playing if you love hidden objects. There is NO HELP available at all and you can just play at your leisure if you want. It is a good game to practice on and to hone up your skills. I found I have been getting lazy with the normal games and just taking my sweet time finding things. I think it is a great game to learn or re-learn how to find things. It is not perfect, there are a very few things that are misnamed or really really hard to find because of size. Still worth it I think. I am going to purchase this game and just use it to practice with and have fun timing myself. I will enjoy it and I hope you will too!!
I own the other Empress of the Deep games and was looking forward to this one. The developers did not do a good job with this one. It is still beautifully drawn and the story line is good but the game is just too cumbersome to play. Can't even list all the things wrong with this game but here are a few of them. You must click to open and close your inventory and the cut scenes go on forever and you can't skip them. You have so much help in this game and I had turned off the tutorial and I still had too much help. As in the other games there is a lot of back and forth which I don't mind and they make it easy with "transports" to get you there and a map to tell you where to go next or go back to when it sparkles. I am sorry to say I will not be buying this game. I got no enjoyment out of playing it and was more frustrated after I played it. Sorry I ever played it. Back to the drawing board with this one.
I am having a ball playing this game. I originally did the "try me" when it was in CE and now that it has come out in SE I own it and just love playing it. Very well drawn (interesting and unusual things/creatures) and the music and voices are quite pleasant and fit the scene. It plays very smoothly so you know where to go and what to do. The help button is good and there is a map to help you also. Of course, you get a little "companion" too! The hidden object games are fun, not too easy, not too hard, plus there are small things to do inside them, like put something together or paint something. You really have to look around in this game and think about what needs to be done, that is what makes it so fun. I really enjoy this game and I hope you will too!!
When the entire audience disappears from a film screening at an old theater, you must go behind the scenes to find out who is running the mysterious Nightmare Cinema.
I love all the Fear for Sale games and this one is a real winner. What a neat storyline and the game runs smoothly from one scene to the next. Help button is real good if you need it. In the CE there are morphing objects and other things you can collect for points. The music and the voices are good and don't get on your nerves. The hidden objects games are pretty easy with a few little twists to solve inside them, nothing major. You can switch to puzzles instead of hidden objects if you wish. This game makes you think about what to do next and how to get it done, it does not just lead you around by the hand. I will certainly buy this game when it comes out in SE version and enjoy it over and over. I will play the whole series together. I hope you enjoy it too!!
I did the "try me" of this game and could barely make a move. You must hold the mouse button down and try to follow the arrows or move up/down and all around and figure out where you are going. There is NO HELP in this game whatsoever and I only got into four or five rooms. That was with dumb luck. I am sure this is a very fun game for young people that are used to this type of play, it is just not me. You go out one door and you are back where you came from or you can't figure out what you can touch or use. Sorry to say it was just too difficult/different for me. Please do the "try me" first and find out if it is for you. Looks like a good game and should be fun and interesting. Enjoy!!
Vampire Legends: The True Story of Kisilova Collector’s Edition is an incredible adventure based on the true story of the first documented case of vampirism ever!
I am not a Vampire fan but thought I would try this game. I did the "try me" and actually found it pretty interesting. The story line flowed along and was not difficult to follow. It is drawn fairly well and not hard to identify the hidden objects. You do quite a few mini-game (mix some medicine, etc) and they are fun too! As for sound quality, I played with the sound off so I can't say how it is. The "try me" only took me 22 minutes but I plan on buying this game when it comes out in SE, I just don't buy CE's as I don't need/want all the extras. Hope you enjoy it, I plan too!!
I really enjoy the Grim Facade series. They are not the most difficult games to play, but they are well drawn and the music is pleasant. The story line flows along and is fairly easy to follow. Some things you have to remember are: pick up all the fans for hints if you need to and move your cursor all over the scenes to find everything (little tiny pieces) that are left about. The cut scenes can be skipped easily. I just like these games because when you are done with an area you will know it as your cursor will not activate. The game flows and there is not a whole lot of back and forth (some but not much). I don't give a blow by blow of the game, as it is done so much better than I could by another reviewer. These games are just fun to play (any level of skill) and I know you will enjoy yourself. I certainly will!!
I own the other four PuppetShow games if that gives you a hint about how this review will go. They are not the most difficult games to play but they are fun to the nth degree. The story unfolds quite nicely as you go along. There is a strange little "evil puppet head" running around making your life miserable. You get a little helper yourself for the hard to reach items. The hidden object games are just a bit tricky, you will see what I mean when you play. Most everything will complete while you are in that particular area, (which I like) so there is not a whole lot of back and forth. You do have a map to help you jump back when necessary. The help button is good in this game. I just like the way these games play. The music is OK if you like the sound playing (which I don't) and the voices are easy to understand but too old for the little children when they speak. Those are minor details as far as I am concerned, the play of the game and the little tricky details/mini-games are what I have fun doing. I will certainly add this to my collections when it comes out in SE. I just don't buy CE's but the CE has a lot of extras in it if that is your thing. Have fun and enjoy, I will.
This game is just not one that got me interested from the beginning. It goes along slowly, the music sounds like a ticking clock during some of it and I muted it. The drawing of the game is somewhat childlike and at times dark. The story line is not bad, just blah. The hidden games are pretty easy and the help button is good. I suggest you do the try me on this game before purchasing it and see for yourself. It is just not a game for me, I want to really be entertained while playing and this game just does not do that. Sorry!
