This is a game that really makes you think, unless you want to just play with the help button doing all the work. The first Phenomenon (City of Cyan) was really, really good and I think this one is better. As the hero (see other great reviews for the blow by blow) you must earn elements and prove your worth and find your heritage. I love how it is drawn, sound and music and vocal are good. You just don't know what is coming in this game. It is not predictable and I like that. The game moves at a good pace and keeps you busy. I will buy this game when it comes out in SE (I don't buy CE's) and enjoy it many times. In these games you see different things and learn a bit more every time you play. Enjoy!!

I have been playing this game for a couple of hours now and you won't believe the challenges in it. They are great. Takes awhile to figure out what to do but they sure are fun. The vocals/sound are good and thank goodness for the help button as it leads you to where you need to go next. The game is drawn crisp and clean and easy to see. There is a lot of back and forth in this game but it sure is worth it. There are very few plain old hidden object scenes as most have a slight twist to them. Someone put some thought into this. Some things are a little mislabeled like "loupe" for magnifying glass but that is not a big problem. The more I play this game the better it gets. I will have to play this game several times. I hope you buy it, I think you will really enjoy it, as much a I am. Well, back to having fun!!

Waited to buy this in the SE and just love it. It is still beautifully drawn and sound/vocals are good. There is so much to do and many places to travel (thank goodness for a map that sends you there) and very interesting games to play. Some are more difficult than others but I think you will find them all challenging and enjoy the little twist at the end. The help button is very good. It gets a little confusing as to where to go and what to do but not to bad. The characters are great and the problems that you solve to reach your goal are fun. I think this game was well worth the wait and I will enjoy it for a long time. Hope you do too!!

I played the "try me" of the CE but have been waiting for it to come out in SE. I just don't buy CE's normally but in this case I was sure thinking about it. This game is good, very good and lots of fun and things to do. If you have played any of the other Legend games you will know and this one is the best I think. Very well drawn, sound is good, games are fun and have added new twists to them. We do get a little companion to help us, but what I find most helpful is the "jump map" so we don't have to do so much back and forth. The game keeps you busy from beginning to end and I found it challenging. The help button is good. You can skip some of the HOS if you want to. Some of the other reviews will give you a much better step by step on the game, no use my repeating it. I will play this game over and over and enjoy it every time. I hope you do too.

This game is fun from the get go. You start out by releasing an evil spirit and off you go into a storyline that takes place in the present time and you go into the past (depending of what is needed at the time by pressing certain items) and to all different types of places. The mini-games are a lot of fun and very different from the usual. You not only put things back where they belong, you solve a mini-puzzle inside the mini-puzzle. The standard hidden object games are not too hard but will takes some work. It is well drawn and sound is good (I played with it off.) I don't think I will buy the CE but will certainly purchase the SE version of this game. The hint button is very helpful. I found this game to be different from the norm and loads of fun. I look forward to when it comes out in SE. Enjoy!

I played this game when it first came out by buying the disc and I was blown away by the beauty of this game. When it first starts out it is a little "cartoonish" and blurry but once you get into the Sphinx it is awesome. You must take careful notes or you will not know what to do. I purchased the "Book of the Dead" which gives you step by step directions because it is so difficult and you need the clues and hints to go on. It is well worth buying this game and it will take you days, if not weeks, to play. If you like intense/difficult/interesting game this is the one for you. I bought the Big Fish version but the machine I am on now will not handle it because of it's size. Check the game requirements first and if you can, download and play this game. It is AWESOME, really it is. You travel all over the Sphinx into all different areas and must find "keys" to go on. You go to different lands and solve mysteries there. I am telling you the truth, this game is great. Hope you try it and enjoy it as much as I did.Show less

This review is based on the "try me" and I feel I got a good taste of the game. You find yourself in this game in a race against time to save your Father. You go back in time and of course all the while you are fighting the bad guy. The hidden object games are somewhat difficult because some things don't look like they should and everything is small, the writing and the object. The help button is good, it takes you where you need to go or will show you what needs to be found. It is not difficult to figure out what to do next as the game runs smoothly and pretty much points you in the right direction. It is well drawn and the sound and voices are good. There are a lot of cut scenes to help you along or you can skip them if you wish. I will purchase this game when it comes out in SE as I normally don't purchase Collector's Editions, as I don't need all the extras and feel they usually don't add much to the game play. That's just me. I hope you buy the game and enjoy it as I will.
I recommend this game!
A detailed Strategy Guide made specifically to help you get through the game but not spoil the fun.

Get your eyes ready for a workout as there is a ton of stuff to do in this game. You are making potions and finding things in a jumble of stuff. Really fun but difficult in some of the Hidden object areas. Very sharply drawn and great to look at and listen to. Good hint button if you need it. This is a game that makes you think and be on the move. You have a potion book to work from and you will be making a lot of them. It is fun because it is slightly different from the normal games we play. It has an added twist. I will certainly buy this game and hope you will too. Enjoy!!

I reviewed this game in Collector's Edition and just finished the "try me" in SE. What a great game!! I knew I was going to buy it but wanted to see if there was a big difference between the two and there is not. It is fun, crisp and clean drawing, good help button and a very interesting story line. The puzzles are not quick to find some things and I like that. You have to think in this game and really look around. Well, my game is done downloading so I am off to have loads of fun. I hope you will enjoy this game as I certainly will.
