Too much backtracking in both its Main & Bonus games just to either obtain a single item, or complete a puzzle. Besides cutscene after cutscene between areas; enough to make their storylines boringly predictable. Hopefully the very next Paranormal Files won't have such needless padding, enough to keep its player in pure suspense.
Its direct sequel needs to have far less backtracking between areas just to either obtain a single item, or complete a puzzle, its puzzles need to be far less complicated, certainly when codes need to be self-memorized beforehand, and sparkly areas should no longer sparkle, and matter to its player when they've been fully investigated. At least until its final case the the real suspect isn't obvious.
Main Game starts off good; but then it and its storyline goes downhill, after you're reunited with your sister. Plus its bonus game had a lousy background story as well. Besides how some of its puzzles were so boringly long to solve, too much back & forth repetitive fetching between areas just to either obtain a single item, or complete a puzzle.
Far too much backtracking between areas just to either obtain a single item, or complete one puzzle in both its Main & Bonus Games. Enough to make it very boring for its player indeed; along with how both its storylines were boringly predictable too.
Still needs far less backtracking between areas just to either obtain one item, or complete a single puzzle. At least Richard return; but still not the same without James, and Roger, since Ewan and his ability is a poor substitute. Hopefully its sequel will have the Detectives team up with Mystery Trackers Elf included against Cataclysm, while unexpectedly bringing back its Executioner.
Could've been way better, since not only is it not the same without Richard and Rick Rogers. But apart from there being too many character switch-overs, and endless backtracking between areas just to either obtain one item, or complete a single puzzle. Both its Main & Bonus games had a boringly predictable storyline.
Far too much needless backtracking between areas; just to either obtain a single item, or complete a single puzzle in both its Main & Bonus games. Hopefully its sequel will bring back James Blackthorne.
Too much backtracking between areas just to either obtain a single item, or complete one puzzle in both games. But its Bonus game was absolutely lousy as far as not resolving the mystery behind the Iron Mask man in its Main one.
Much better than A Crime In Reflection. Hopefully the very next MCF installment will require far less backtracking between areas just to either obtain a single item, or complete one puzzle with its Main & Bonus games. Also hopefully the sun goddess and her pet cobra will unexpectedly cross paths with the detective too.
