This is a search and rescue game. You look and you can't see. Someone throw me a life preserver! Rescue this game!!!
The objects that you find in this Yard Sale are tiny, faded, BUT, after playing and wearing out the Hint button you can select Treasure Hunt where there are various puzzles: Find gloves and shoes (always the same stuff) or find the dolls. (these were the only 2 search games) No real variation. Same o Same o.
Turning squares to make the picture. (not sure what are called). Those were okay.
Swaping squares to make a complete picture. Fun.
The only one I really liked is the round "target" rings, that you turn to make the picture. This was fun, because you do a lot of turning. If you selected one ring, there is a ship, and it matches the next ring, but doesn't fit the picture. So you have to turn to find the right ring.
They also have jigsaw puzzles. They were okay, not much of a challenge since the picture is displayed as the background.
The original Yard Sale was better drawn, and the objects were bright and visible. And it followed a story.
This one had tiny obscure objects and Find the Difference that was cheesy. I hate using the hint, but it's necessary. If only I had a magnifiying glass...
Play the demo and you'll know if this is a game for you.

Who would have thought it would take so long! I've been playing KC2 on my tablet since last year. It mostly has the same levels though the pc version has a few different levels, even so, I loved playing it on my tablet and I loved playing this one. Excellent game, awesome story, unique characters and game play. I love the laugh haha ha...

I love this puzzle game. This game is extensive, 30x30 grids, and so tiny. I dont' know how many times I had to replay just to get it right. I like that you have to count and get the squares right and that there is only one way to solve the puzzle, there is no guessing and you're not left wondering which square to choose. 8 Floor is really doing a great job with these puzzles. Their Red Riding Hood Secrets game is awesome as well. This one gave me some issues, and I didn't know if I kept counting wrong, but finally completed it and it only took several days. This series is topping my all time favorite Arizona Rose riddles.

I beta tested this game and put in my two cents, I really liked the previous games and this one did not do it for me. But I just finished it and I have changed my mind. It is very challenging and crafting takes getting used to, and there aren't any instructions, but I really thought it was fun.
Victor and Olivia are on holiday and they spend their vacation fixing all the problems in the kingdom and since they want their subjects to have fun, it's one festival, dance and party after another, even amusement parks and the circus!
There is no way to play this game without continuously gathering resources... and the crafting takes a while to get used to, the further you go, the more skilled you get, so don't give up. I finally got the hang of it and it took me a while, and in this game you can actually craft the wrong item, so you have to be careful, very confusing. There are 42 main levels and the puzzle pieces are in the even levels, (2,4,6 etc.) After you pass level 16 or so, (it leads you to the 18 alternate levels that become available where you work for the demon. In one of the main levels, Victor is slipped a potion to fall in love with another girl, and Olivia is upset and leaves Victor, in the alternate levels, you actually craft that potion and cause all kinds of havoc for them, covering everything with weeds and demolishing the museum and fountains. I really like this where you got the back story in the game. There is a puzzle piece in these levels, one in a set of 3, 18 levels in all, and there are 15 bonus chapters after you complete the game. The puzzle pieces are in the odd levels, (1,3, 5 etc.) in the bonus section. I thought it was clever that you access the bonus by going through a portal. I was able to get gold in all the levels except for the bonus levels, there was one 6B that was impossible to complete. There just isn't enough time. Oh well... if you're OCD you won't be able to stand it... The story was simple, but cute, it's amazing that through all the hardships from the first time they met, it's a wonder they are still together. Tip: There was one level where there is no gold, (you can imagine my frustration), you have to craft it, with crystals and food. And you have to capture the fairies in order to build the crystal hut, and this starts the levels, where you have to craft gold.
I had to play each level just to figure out what to do and then had to play it again to complete it, it has taken me days to finish, but, it just makes it more fun and challenging. I only wish the puzzle pieces that you collect were able to play it as a puzzle, that would have made it better, instead it's just a picture that you cannot piece together. All in all, I didn't like it at first, but it really ended up being a decent game.

OK sad there are lots of bad reviews. Probably because no one realizes you can click on your character to speed them up. Yes, this game becomes very wearing on your mouse finger, since I tend to click like crazy to make the 3 star time limit, and the only way to do that is to click click click click click... Otherwise the game is simple made, along with simple graphics. The storyline is a lot like an old school comic book, lots of reading, but it is a good story of robots gone bad and destroying what they used to build, a huge gear falls out of the sky and an irate farmer decides to find out what is going on and voila, you have flying island chronicles! I really do like this game. I hope you'll have the patience and fortitude to play it and like it too.
I wonder as others, where was the mystery or solving of and had to figure it was solving each puzzle was the intent of the detective griddler. That had to be it. I love these games, but my favorites are the Arizona and Gizmo puzzles for the simple fact that there is a clue in each one, no guessing, in solving them. They are much more intriguing. The pics are better in the first Arizona Rose game than in the second, but once you get past the first set, they get better. At least in these type of games you can buy hints if you get stuck, but this one was so easy, there was no need. I read that some had issues with the tutorial. You have to actually click on the tutorial to get it, and could chose expert or beginner, but there were no instructions and if you drastically make a huge error, the tutorial just stalls, it doesn't know what to do... thought that was funny. All in all, I love every one of these games and so it's a buy for me. Hope you also enjoy it.
I have been waiting for a TM game, just any TM game will do... so I thought, until I played this one...it is lacking. Very short, only one level was challenging, and that's because the wood needed was hidden beneath the graphics. The game just ends... bwah hah hah... and that's it. Not even much of a story. Definitely not enough for a TM fix. O woe! O woeful, woeful, woeful day! Where have all the TM games gone? I guess it's back to playing the gizmos...
Maybe I'm missing something here? The clues don't seem to apply to the items, the spelling of the items are another language perhaps? perfum instead of perfume... was only one example. I couldn't play the game at all, so if you are considering this game, and it's a cool concept, make sure you are able to: decipher the clues, spell the items, and enjoy the game.
I loved this game! It has an awesome story and it is delivered in a fun, beautifully detailed game. From the beginning to the end, the game is intriguing and fascinating. There is SO much to do. The HOS are different. This is the first Mayan game I've played, so I don't know if the earlier versions have this type of HOS. You have to find symbols and then it opens up the HOS. Some of them have items to find that build another item. It's pretty ingenious really. The game has so many areas to figure out and tons of mini games that are a little easy, but so much fun! I didn't find all the morphing objects and birds, so I have to go back and find them all. Didn't get all the achievements either, but that's not as important as the little critter birds. Gregory is turned into a jaguar who is helpful at times and lazy most of the time. At least he's on your side and not trying to bite your head off. The bonus game was awesome as well. It didn't continue the story, which is wonderful, but was a separate game on it's own. You have to help the moon goddess, since she is dying, and losing strength. The entire game was well designed, well displayed and very gorgeous. Visually stunning! Very good flow. Loved the mini games. I truly enjoyed this game. There was one misnamed item, it was a pinecone...
I recommend this game!

Nightfall: An Edgar Allan Poe Mystery
Travel to Paris and work with Monsieur Dupin! Investigate lots of cases and meet unforgettable personalities!
This is a very well-made game with beautiful graphics. The mystery of the murder is what draws me to the game. I've really enjoyed the HOS and story line. You play an assistant to Monsieur Dupin and are tasked in investigating a murder. Make sure to read and know the story line, as there is a newspaper interview later that will pay out 125 gems. I have only purchased the initial special offer, and with my BFG membership it was only a few dollars. It gave me some amulets and HOS helps and gems, etc. Well worth the cost. You actually start out wearing your underwear, and I was wondering how the society of Paris was viewing me without skepticism, considering I was also new at investigations.... but I finally saved the 320 gems for the entire outfit. There are 2 to choose from, one will allow you a better percentage to receive the items from the HOS, the other will give you a better increase in energy. Both outfits are rather stunning, especially since you've been running around in your undies the whole time, it's refreshing to be dressed to the nines. I've been playing for a while now, and I really enjoy the game. The story is ever evolving and interesting. There are several HOS and you travel between them depending on what is needed in the story. The HOS locations vary in type and amount of objects. I am up to 18 items in most, and it switches between silhouettes, word list, and compare, which is my favorite. You have to discern what is missing when you compare the two scenes. You earn items you are searching for, coins and experience for visiting each, and each visit helps in leveling up in the HOS. There are also airships which fly by and they need items, like a sandbag to be able to land, or a muffler to help with the cold air... There are also funny mini quests, like capturing werewolves, mummies or escaped prisoners. At first I was purchasing the items needed to capture them, until I realized that the HOS will also give you the cage or tombstone or whatever is needed to capture them. The game is very involved, and intriguing. You continue to find items that are requested of you, assist Monsieur Dupin, and the citizens of Paris, while trying to solve the murder. If you play the game just right, you can level up after playing twice, which will give you full energy. You also have amulets that you can use to increase your coins, experience, finding items, and energy replenishment time. You also build collections which also give you gems and help items. All of the airship/balloon requests give you a gem upon completion, and most of M. Dupins quests also give a gem, so they add up. You also receive a daily gift of energy or amulet. There is also a future enhancement of being able to friend and gift collection items. I hope this is enabled soon. It is a fun game.
