I like this game because the edges fit, and you can see that they fit. Some puzzle games are not as clear and it is hard to tell if they go together! The puzzle pictures/arwork are really good, very clear. I also like that you can modify the puzzles. This is a plus. The gaming area is larger than my screen, so when working the first puzzle, I wasn't sure of where 2 of my pieces were, so clicking and dragging the screen showed them off to the side. Not a big deal. I usually start putting pieces together and then drag to find the rest of the pieces. I love the art work and the way the pieces fit. The music is a bonus, since most don't have any. Great jigsaw puzzle game.
I truly liked the story and the game play. The first time I played, I didn't get the ladder and could not check out the glittering object... I do play casual, since I'm not an expert player, I want to be able to skip the mini games in case I can't get it. The first HOS I encountered for the Reverend Quest required that I find the fragmented items. I didn't get everything and accidentally backed out of the HOS. I went ahead and placed the church sign and talked to the Reverend, and could not get back to the scene to pick up the rest of the items. So just a word of advice... get everything before you leave the scene! Not sure if it is just for this one, or any others. I had to restart the game! The story and quests for finding items are pretty cool. I like the game, and plan to purchase just for the story. I like the fragmented items, but I've been finding things by being clicky... I know, it's cheating. The demo ends after the second quest for the graveyard attendant, and that one was interesting. Truly a great story, can't wait to see how it plays out. Yes, I'm buying it, even with the glitch, that is how interesting it is.

When I first played this game, it was frustrating, since it is difficult to get the Gold on every Level. I've had to repeat several times just to get the Gold... and all because I want to play the bonus levels!!!! I'm hooked.
The music is epic, sort of like battle music, which is needed in this game. The graphics are top-notch and excellent and the story line is humorous. I love how they gather their best warriors and there is a scrawny little viking in the mix. The viking men build and plunder and the viking women or valkyries gather the goods. The levels are built on a tree called the Tree of Life. I like how the game play travels up and down the tree, instead of completing one area. The quest is to find the 4 elemental runes that are hidden in the 4 worlds in the Tree of Life. The runes have the power to put the dragon asleep and stop him from attacking the Tree of Life. He really is a bothersome dragon as he will blow up your buildings as he flies by.
It is really difficult to remember what buildings are needed to complete the items. An example is for Ice Cream... you need Berries from the berry farm, a Berry Crusher to make Berry Juice, Milk from the Dairy Cow farm. You have to gather these as the dragon tries to destroy your progress. The yogurt uses the same ingredients, except doesn't use the berry crusher, so you can double your items and share between them. Just as the Doll requires Wheat/Sheep/ and the Hat requires Wheat/Sheep/Loom, so you can gather and share and alternate between them to complete your goods. Run through it once and see what is needed and what you can upgrade, and that will help with completing the level.
The valkyries gather the items, so you should have at least one per farm, and a market to sell your goods and get money and a sawmill for the wood to upgrade your farms. Always upgrade as it doubles the items produced.
The valkyries have to enter the farm, so when the farm is ready you click on it and the valkyrie will go to the farm and and you have to wait for her to gather the goods, then you have to pick up the goods. There is a slight pause as the farm generates before you can again harvest it. It is a pain when you're almost out of time!!! But keep playing and repeating the level until you get it. A lot of people have mentioned that it is annoying and clicky and you cannot queue your workers. I think this makes it more challenging and it is more specific, in that you have to assign your players and then when the goods are finished, you have to gather them. It is really challenging, and very fast paced. You have to pay attention and know which are ready in order to gather the goods, before they are gone. You can swipe your mouse over and not have to actually click, so it is easier to gather the goods. Sort of reminds me of Royal Envoy.
Others have said it's for kids, and even though it has cute little cartoon-like characters, I think it's a little too challenging for little ones. I think once you get used to the game play, you'll find it enjoyable.
I love this game, I cannot believe that finally there is a HOG that is perfect. The detail is exquisite and artwork is gorgeous, the psychiatrist in the beginning of the game is so lifelike. This story draws you into the game, the flow is excellent, the voice-overs and the characters in the game are exceptional. You feel for the poor boy who is ridiculed, and thank god he says you always believed in him...you're not a bully! The game is thrilling, dark, enticing, morbid and scary, but also light-hearted. I put the round red button on the clown's nose and got a cute reply, which was funny. I am glad that they are using a little more logic and humor into the game. Gave me a chuckle, that they just knew I'd try it, and it didn't make me feel so dumb for trying something even though I knew they didn't go together. They must know that I'm click crazy and that I'd try any ol' thing. All this and I've only played the demo and it's a must buy for me. Hurry up paycheck! I hope the rest of the game has more humorous replies, I'll have to put miss matched items together just to check it out!
I only played the demo. I couldn't decide if I liked this game or not. I love the fact that's it's different, but there are no HO scenes at all! It is an interesting game that could have been more fun, but the game leads you to all the clues/items, making it no challenge at all. The interactive help of the missing student is different, you can go through a doorway to the next location with their help. Sort of a portal... So that is really cool. I do like the characters, even the witch, (see if her movements remind you of anyone...) and the voiceovers. I just wish it wasn't all hand holding, and more of a challenge. I only played the Casual level, I went back and played what was left of the demo in Expert mode. It is more challenging, since it doesn't walk you through every clue and every item. I like this game as a new type of adventure game, just with they added a few HOS for us die hard fans!
Help Lillian discover Titanic’s mysteries and get closer to unveiling the truth behind the disaster that took her great- grandmother’s life 100 years ago.
I played thru this game, though it was tedious, to say the least. I wish they had at least put arrows when you were going somewhere, since every direction, said that it was blocked, and I couldn't go there. And was there a door in my stateroom, it looked like a wall to me?... the photo pieces were as everyone else said, tiny, fuzzy and when you collected them all, they formed a photo, it would have been more fun to put them together, but there were a lot of them. The theme was ok, that you were the granddaughter (great?) and were following your grandmother in the past with ghosts? they did drown right? who were trying to tell their story, through pictures, but I didn't get far enough to figure it out, I quit after the steamer trunk HOS where I was trying to click on the ship photo, and the hint even circled it, but it would not let me pick it up. I didn't see any other photos in the scene. So I gave up. Some of the HOS are blurry, i.e. the picture hanging the the hall, trying to find the items like the fish, octopus, shrimp, etc was easy, but they could have done a better job with this game. I gave up after I could go no further than the broken hos. I really wanted to open the lower decks, since I found all the keys. I wanted to rescue the poor lower class souls before they got locked up and drowned... at least that is where I think this was heading... I saw the movie twice. I don't think I have liked a single Titanic game that have flooded us recently, except for maybe Inspector Magnusson and Monument Builders, and they don't hold an oar to most of the newer HO games.
This game is unfinished or wacko. I finished the HOS chest in the bedroom and then opened the box on the dresser, and when I was getting ready to leave the room, the chest had sparkles, so I thought it would be another HOS, but, I got the same objects, so I had 2 mirrors, 2 daggers, 2 sacks, well, I'm sure I wanted 2 of everything, but then I clicked on the sparkles on the dresser and there was a blank space where the box was and I could not leave this, no matter what I clicked on... the game is messed up. It could have been a great game, as I wanted to find out what happened to the other two brothers, and the mother. I'll guess I'll have to play it when another dev does it right. I would not buy this game.
I don't recommend this game.

I love TM games, Diner Dash, Cooking Dash and all their related games are my favorites, followed by the Emily Delicious games. And the Frenzy (including Rescue Frenzy) and Build a lot games. And recently Kingdom Chronicles, Legends of Atlantis, Hidden World, Monument Builders, and Gnomes Home. Oh, and not to forget, the Roads to Rome, Rescue Team, My Kingdom for the Princess, Fix it up, and Island Tribe games. This game lacks originality. The storyline is blase, get a school chum, buy a property, open a restuarant, make loads of cash. I know I've seen that one before? And playing the demo, it doesn't get you very far into the story. The story doesn't evolve, there is only the beginning, so I guess I'd have to buy the game to find out where it leads, and frankly I wasn't interested. Now if it was Emily and her soap opera life, I would bite. How come one of the choices for Storyline isn't Boring? I had to choose Poor.
The game play is also a bit boring, I'm sure you've seen this before: make coffee, serve coffe, add milk, caramel. Serve croissants, ice cream. Make money, buy stuff. Stupid me, I bought the hired help... and I hate hiring some barista punk who only thought more of "Show me the money" than he did his customers, (I guess they had to add a little realism to the game). I beat him to the punch every time, served his customers and thumbed my nose at him. Though admittedly, when I did give him more money he did perform a little better, until near the end of his shift when dollar signs were apparently all he was thinking of again! So make sure he's well paid, making top dollar, making more money than you as the poor owner, it will keep him going, and he'll help out.
The game is also different from most TM games. In the dash games and most resturant games, you click on Flo and she does the work, like delivering the food and cleaning the counters/tables. In this game it's all up to you to click everything and clean everything, so there would be happy customers and available seats. I can see how some would like this hands on experience, but being a mom and thankful my children aren't as demanding, it gets old fast, I hate cleaning up after anyone! So this game is not for me.
The levels get harder and harder and more difficult to play pretty quick. I had at least 2 of everything cooling on the counter and constantly pressing the expresso, americano, tea and cocoa machines to keep them coming and I still had a hard time finishing the last levels of the demo. So play the demo, work hard, and see if this game suits you. For me, it was a no go.
This is the first time I've played a Match 3 game and actually liked it. It is an interesting way to make the game play more exciting. The Match 3 is used to clear the homes and places in the town that is deteriorating due to the clock running backwards. The letter that arrives spurs you to help save the town. It directs you to the uncle who has invented many devices that are waiting for you to use. It's fun and I love the dastardly character that gives you the clock hands and blocks. He is definitely a character. You can also watch him walking around the town. The levels are progressively harder. You have to clear the clock hands to complete the level. There are added hinderances, such as metal and ice blocks. You earn jewels when you clear each game. And then purchase the devices to clear the blocks in the uncles house. The bonus rounds take a lot of thought, but luckily if they are impossible to solve, there is a skip button. The game is fun, has lots of game especially with the purchased devices. I don't usually like Match 3 games, but this one is quite different.
Don't get your panties in a wad! I hate it when people get upset over the game reviews. Makes me wonder if they're related to the game developer... Even with the low ratings, this game is a solid 4 stars. I'm giving it 4 stars. There are always going to be people who don't like the game and yes they could be a competitor. And yes, there are going to be time constraints (not that hard in the first level/stage. You just gotta remember that ALL time management games have time constraints!!!.... I like this game. My favorites are HOGs first and TMs second. I love the little guys working to clear the roads and gather resources. There are enough to get you through to building your jam and wood mill. This game is unique. You have to build bridges (and add more men, who repel from a balloon ship# to get to the other side and it also uses a cannon to shoot a grapple hook and rope to cross the chasms. Great concept. The story is cute and the graphics and art are awesome. I like the beginning cutscene #poor gnome king) and the humor is what got me to purchase this game. The game reminds me of Hidden World. That was a sweet gem of a time management game. This one is just as involved and I hope that it gets progressively harder. My main complaint about some of these games is the lower levels are harder than the higher levels. And did someone really test the game to make sure that it was possible to get the gold score... try playing Build a Lot Fairy Tales... the expert levels are impossible to complete in time. But that said, this game is fun and simple and funny. And a definite purchase for me!
