PLUS = This is a bright and sweet love story game to play. The story involves a widow who goes back to the family's summer beach house. I enjoyed exploring the beach house and the surrounding areas of the beach town. There are Hidden Object scenes, which are fairly easy to see, and a variety of objects to find, which you will use to progress in the story.
MINUS = If you are not a fan of romance stories, or are looking for a "dark'n eerie", intense game experience, this is not the game for you.
I recommend this game!

PLUS SIDE = This is a fun and easy-to-play Hidden Object game where you find items to sell in order to decorate your garden. You are assisted by a quirky butler, and his comments make the game fun and add to the game play. The scenes are bright and colorful, and fairly easy to see. If you like decorating thhings, you will enjoy this game. I have replayed many times and have redone my garden in a variety of styles.
MINUS SIDE = After playing this game over and over, you get to the point where there are no more new items to buy. Would like to see either a sequel to this game or the ability to buy more levels with different items in them.
I recommend this game!

PLUS SIDE = I was immersed in this game from the opening cutscenes. You explore a small town in Europe and the surrounding countryside as you find clues to help you solve the mystery. As the game title states, wolves are involved in the mystery. The graphics are wonderful, clear and crisp, even in the darker evening and night scenes. The game filled my wide screen monitor. Lots of Hidden Object scenes, and it was easy to see the items, although some are well hidden and you really have to hunt for them. The bonus chapter is this CE was great because it explained several details that had puzzled me in the main story, so I would definitely recommend buying the CE versus the SE version of this game. I am looking forward to a sequel!
MINUS = I was not crazy about some of the voiceovers for the characters.
I recommend this game!

Sometimes you just want an uncomplicated, easy Hidden Object game to play, and this fills the bill. The story is set in a small town, where a friendly "older" adult tries to help her friends and the townfolk by acting as a matchmaker. The graphics are clear and bright. The game consists of several vignettes where she tries to find the right match for each person. The Hidden Object scenes are fairly easy, and so are the mini-games. I have replayed this game several times, usually when the weather is gloomy and I need a bit of fun and bright cheerfulness to lift my spirits. If you are looking for something easy to play, with a happy theme, this may be just right for you.
I recommend this game!

PLUSSES = I loved this game, it is set in Venice and you find lovely fans and beautiful masks – that makes this girl’s heart so happy! The game is set in Venice at the time of a plague. The story begins with a missing mother and daughter, who disappear from a gondola after leaving a masked ball. You, as the detective, are asked by the husband/father to find them. You receive 2 gold ducats as payment. After leaving the father, you will travel to 5 major locations in the game, with multiple rooms/areas on and off of the main site to explore. On your journey to find the missing females, you will need to look closely in all areas, as multiple objects are hidden throughout the game, and you will need this inventory of items to complete the game and rescue both mother and daughter. You will also collect more gold ducats and use them to purchase needed items. There are prices on the items that you buy, and you have limited amounts of gold, so shop wisely and think of what is needed at this moment in the game. The graphics were clear and non-fuzzy, and the scenes of Venice are lovely. The music and voiceovers were okay. Items in the Hidden Object scenes were fairly easy to find, but I had to use some thought processes to figure out how to get some of the interactive items. A new twist to this game is that you will also look for fans in the HOG scenes, and they will add to your Hint system. (However, I used the hints several times and never ran out of them).
MINUSSES = The hidden object scenes have various colored shadings, so some corners are slightly harder to see. There are multiple HOG scenes in this game, and you will revisit each one. The cursor will explode if you click excessively. The storyline of finding the missing relatives may feel familiar. The story is NOT dark and eerie, and there are no witches, werewolves, vampires or devils, just some bad people. There are some small spiders in the HOG scenes, there are an occasional bug, and there are rats (Well, it is plague time in Venice). I would recommend this game for those who like Hidden Object games, want to have some fun, and are not looking for a sophisticated, complex adventure game.
I recommend this game!

PLUSSES = Picked this game up as a Daily Deal, and was concerned, because it had the look of older games. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this was a lovely little gem of a Hidden Object game. I like the music and LOVE the graphics in this game. The story is set in Venice in the 1800's, and the opening screen features Venice in the background, with a gondola swaying back and forth in the foreground. The story line moves from London to a yacht sailing to Venice, and you get to search everyone's cabin. What I loved was that several rooms had portholes, and the horizon through the porthole moved up and down, so I felt like I was actually back on a cruise ship. I also loved the ladies' cabins, such pretty things to search through. Each cabin also had a dog, cat or other animal in it. In terms of visual appeal, a scene later in the game is a moonlight scene, all in shades of grey and blue, but as the moonlight drifts by the stairs, the area lightens. That was so beautiful I stopped looking for "23 keys, a hat, a bat, 2 of this and 3 of that....." to just enjoy the view. The game also had some unique mini-games, such as the flower embroidery and match-the-masks.
MINUSSES = The game lacks the sophistication and intensity of newer games. It has a few minuses, such as some HOG scenes have dark corners, and some HOG items are small and hard-to-find, but overall, I really liked the game.
I recommend this game!

PLUS SIDE = I love doing HOG scenes, and there were so many in this game, that made me happy! I really liked the graphics, particularly in the Hidden Object scenes. I also loved seeing the snow in the Italy scene, and the sound of the rain in the Paris home scene. To me, this was eyecandy, and I will go back and replay just to see those scenes again. It was interesting that at least twice in the game, the interactive scenes mimicked real-life timing, meaning that you had to wait until the task was completed before you could get the desired item. That put me off at first, I thought I had a glitch in my game, but finally realized I needed to proceed and do other things and then come back after the time period was complete.
MINUS SIDE = I didn't realize at first that each chapter had a different Special Item to find, so I did not get all of them, but that will be my challenge to find them all when I replay this game. Also, I struggled at first because I kept hitting the map instead of the suitcase but then realized I could just click on top to get my inventory.
I recommend this game!

PLUS SIDE = I thought the subject matter might bother me, but this was a well-done game, and I highly recommend. The graphics and visuals from the game developers (ERS) were stunning (as usual) and the storyline flowed well. There are separate vignettes in this game, so I was able to finish a chapter and leave the game, then come back the next day and start again, without having to figure out what clues or inventory items I had left over from the previous day.
MINUS SIDE = None that I can think of!
I recommend this game!

PLUS SIDE = Picked this up as a Daily Deal, and was pleased to find that the game was a great value. The story is set in Old Salem, and you need to help your Mom who has been taken to jail as an accused witch. You travel throughout many areas in the town. The cutscenes are great and so are the voiceovers. I was engaged in the game from the opening scenes. Hidden Object scenes were clear to see, and fairly easy to find. Game length was about three hours for me.
MINUS SIDE = Even with the map I got stuck a few times trying to get from place to place. Also had a problem using the Family Heirloom to hold the animal familiars, maybe I needed more coffee to improve my hand-eye coordination!
I recommend this game!

PLUS SIDE: Almost a fairy-tale type game, with wonderful graphics, pretty settings to explore, and nice background music. Five different vignettes to play, so you can finish one, exit the game, and come back the next day without having to remember where you left of, each vignette is a separate chapter. Easy game play, and the hint button helps you figure out what you have to do next, so you don't need to resort to a walkthrough.
MINUS SIDE: The ending just seemed a little abrupt, very anti-climatic.
I recommend this game!
