This is a lovely little game to be savored a bit at a time, unlike the relentless playing one sometimes gets into with HOGS. It's a gentle "figure it out" game with hints if you get stuck.

While not a fan of the graphics, this is an entertaining game if you like puzzles and the challenge of figuring things out on your own. I started to quit playing when, surprise, one of my inventory items worked for me! I kept going and am actually enjoying the game. If you liked "Tiny Bang", "Leaves" or "My Brother Rabbit", you might enjoy this game.
After playing the same HOG's for years, you know the drill; if you've played one, you've played them all. Not since "Tiny Bang" has there been a game that held my attention like this one. I encourage you to try this game and go on a very unique adventure. I predict that this will be one of the top games of 2019.

Let me begin by saying that I'm a fan of Cateia games; I like their graphics and they have good story lines. While this isn't on the same level as the prequel "Where Angels Cry", it is still a good, challenging game. The problem is that in the very first scene, things seem to move in slow motion--you click on an object and have to wait a few seconds for it to move--I almost got frustrated and gave up, but I persevered. If you can get past the first scene, the action picks up and objects move as you would expect them to when clicked on. The developers should fix that first scene. My comment is based on playing the demo, but this will be a buy for me. I would also suggest trying "Where Angels Cry" to get a little background.
I recommend this game!

Subliminal Realms: The Masterpiece Collector's Edition
Albert's worst nightmare becomes reality when a creature from his grim paintings kidnaps his family. What does she want?
After finishing the demo, I think that this is a relaxing, interesting game. While there's nothing innovative and new, the puzzles are challenging without being frustrating and the graphics are colorful and fun. Rating a game is always subjective; it depends on the reviewers personal tastes and preferences, your attitude on that particular day and the phase of the moon!! This being said, I would recommend giving this game a try and decide for yourself if it's your cup of tea.

This is a game for people who like to think a little bit and guess what to do. The puzzles are original and quite clever with minimal instruction on how to complete many of them. The story line is fun and unique. Whether or not a person likes a game is very subjective--different strokes for different folks. However, I do not believe this game should have gotten a two star rating. True, the graphics are "old school", but they don't detract from the game. If you like games that don't hold your hand all the way through, give this game a try.
When you see a game by this developer, Elephant Games, you can generally expect excellence. This game is no exception. It reminds you of The Nutcracker, which is also one of theirs. The game starts out with you being summoned by the prince to find the girl who has totally stolen his heart and disappeared. After that comes the twist. It seems that our heroine, Isabella, has left the ball in a hurry because her father has been changed into a beast, and she, of course, has to help him out. This game is delightful entertainment, with crisp graphics, interesting puzzles, including a match 3. A map is included for easy navigation; a camera takes pictures of bad guys and gives you a clue as how to deal with them. When I saw the two star rating, I assumed that I wouldn't like this game, but I always try games to form my own opinion. I'm so glad I did, or I would have missed a delightful game. I highly recommend it!
If you like scene after scene of HO's, then this is the game for you. The storyline, while interesting, was not enough to hold my interest. The previous Golden Trails games from this developer were much more interesting; it's as if somone got lazy. Your character wakes up in a tavern with a strange mark tattooed on his arm, not knowing how he got there. You have to find the hidden objects to move to the next scene. Though not difficult to find, I find the game tediously repetitious. This was really a disappointment for me because, based on the previous games, I was prepared to like this one. Sorry, but I think they need to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Unlike the previous Exorcist games by this developer, this game is not as dark and gloomy. It is atmospheric and fun! You are an exorcist sent to find out why an archaelogical team has disappeared, along with the son of one of the team members. Played in the expert mode, the games are challenging enough, though the HOS are fairly easy. This game kept my attention from the time I started playing until I finished. This is a fun game, with the HOS spread far enough a part to make it interesting.
