This was an interesting game in the HOG genre, and for those who like straight HOS with no storyline, this is the game for you. It consists of finding specified objects within cleverly designed larger objects. In case you have trouble seeing small things, the game has zoom capability which enlarges everything. The background is pleasant and soothing which is something for me to say since I usually turn the music off! Personally, I prefer HO's with some sort of storyline, but if that's not an issue for you, give this game a try. You will certainly get your moneys worth because it seems as if this game has no end!
Keeping in mind that all reviews are subjective (depending on your mood or phase of the moon!), this is an interesting HOG. The graphics are nicely done, except for some rather amatuerish cut scenes; the voice overs are a good touch and add interest to the game. The HO scenes are not difficult, the objects large enough to see, hidden enough to offer some challenge. In the first HOS, the Russian doll was a bit challenging, but it was fun to finally figure it out. The story line, which has been done a thousand times, still managed to hold my interest. The game unfolds slowly and you are drawn into the story. The only thing I wondered about was that not all of the items from the first segment of the game were used. I played the whole demo and the item just disappeared. Other than that, this is a well thought out game and the developers have done a good job with a hackneyed subject. It's a buy for me.
This is your standard HOG with the over-worked story line about a family curse, a witch seeking revenge, townspeople in an uproar. The hidden object scenes are incredibly easy and offer no challenge whatsoever. The music is repetitive and annoying. The mini-games are ones that have been used over and over again (move the red balls to the blue balls slots). I would recommend this game only to very beginner players and certainly don't think it is worth the CE price tag. This is a "no buy" for me.

This was another attempt to translate a classic piece of literature into a game. While it has been successfully done,as in Edgar Allan Poe's "Murder in the Rue Morgue", this attempt was a failure. It opened with cartoon-like drawings to set the story line, no voice overs, and proceeds to the standard HOS where you find the parts of an object then combine them. While the graphics after the opening scene are rather nicely done, the game play was not interesting enough to entice me to complete the demo. Sorry, this is a no buy for me, however, it might hold a begginer players' attention.
Cargo flight 821 has crashed on an uncharted, beautiful and deadly planet. Your only companion is the trustworthy robot, Oscar and together you must escape.
Though not a particular sci-fi fan, I've really found this to be an enjoyable. It's a welcomed departure from ghosts, lost loves and interminable HO scenes. The HO scenes in this game are nicely spaced and reward you with items neccesary for advancement. I like the artwork and the music is not an irritant. This game actually makes you think and use your reasoning powers, and that's refreshing. There are times when I just want to zone out and play something minimally challenging, but its nice to have a challenge every now and then. If you liked Tiny Bang, Green Moon, and games of that ilk, I think you will enjoy this game. It's a buy for me.

There is nothing outstanding about this game, but it is a pleasant time filler. The graphics are good, except for the main character, who is kind of cheesy. The storyline doesn't really move me; hard to get worked up about statues disappearing, but you can tell that the developers put some effort into this game. If the storyline were different, it would be a buy for me; if I get bored, it still might be.
After playing the demo, I found this to be an interesting game with a unque story line. The graphics are excellent, the hidden object scenes are clear, with the objects large enough to find. The music is unobstrusive and the game is mysterious without being goulish. I still have to make up my mind whether or not to buy the CE or wait for the SE, but either way, this game is definitely a buy for me.
Good game for beginners. Very simple graphics with no voice overs. There was nothing special about this game. If you,ve got nothing better to do and you're desperate, then buy it. Other than that, wait until it's on sale for $2.99
