Game was on the shorter side – a little over 3 hours on casual mode (challenge mode also available). If your screen is on the dark side, you can add extra brightness.
Mystery: You are to accompany your sister, Yvette, at a concert but he doesn’t show up at your Uncle Albert’s inn. Who took her and for what purpose? Good story line. Well-developed gameplay. Nice piano music, average graphics. No journal or map – there is some back and forth, but not too excessive. Interactive HOS (some with 2 moves to assemble an object). Hint system works very well - points in the direction to go if there is nothing to do in the scene. Ending was mysterious.

If you like the Diner Dash games, you will like this game. And Snowy is a lot cuter - I love his antics. Typical time management game. Nice looking graphics. Challenges are the same as in the Diner Dash games, which I never tire of. I used to have a lot of trouble just finishing a level for a very long time. Now, I can pretty much breeze to gold right away. But it doesn't change the fun for me.
Lots of fun to play. Average length game divided into 5 chapters. Logical game play. If you have spare 3D glasses lying around, you can get the 3D experience. Play 3 characters as you explore the museum, looking for the lost family cat: Emily, Francis, and the parents, in whatever order you wish. Mom maintains the journal, dad has the tools, Francis has glyph vision which lets you see the active parts of a scene and Emily has a time amulet, which lets you see the past and help solve puzzles.
There is a map and “location cleared” appears once you’ve done everything in a scene. Voice acting is natural and believable. Puzzles are fairly easy, although you will need to use the amulet or glyph vision or consult the journal for the solution. At first it was confusing only being able to play one character, chosen at the beginning of each chapter, but after a while, it became a lot of fun. I chose a different order for playing the characters the second time I played. It can make the difficulty seem different. Ending was satisfactory except we don’t know whether the cat was left in the museum.
A little less than 4 hours in casual mode. Game tracks playing time. After the game is played, you can play Goblinjong to reveal various secrets of goblins and fairies. Ending sets up the next adventure for Princess Sophia. Very enjoyable game.
Largely an adventure game in a medieval castle. 1st in a series. Beautiful graphics and well-developed, skillfully-told story. A little light on the uncluttered, colorful and very detailed HOS – and most of the objects look like they really belong there. Experienced players will find the game loaded with a wide variety of interesting but fairly easy (although they do vary in difficulty) puzzles/mini-games. Newer players may have to give the puzzles and mini-games a little more thought, but they aren’t tough enough to cause you to pull your hair out. Hint system (a fairy) is fairly helpful, pointing you in the right direction. Very nice voice overs
GRAPHICS YOU MAY/MAY NOT LIKE: The artwork is highly stylized, so it will appeal to some but not others. I agree that the artists were not good at drawing people, but the rest was good if you pay attention to the style it portrays. If you want your artwork to be simple, you will not like it. I do like the artists efforts (though they could get help with the people's faces). The game is a nice change of pace.
GAMEPLAY: You basically play HOS in the form of lists, then the same scene with outlines. Finding certain items will take you to a new screen for a minigame or invite a comment from a character.
ATTRIBUTES: Hints will point the direction the HO is in, if it is not in the screen. So you have a zoomable and panaramic views, which I like. You also have a minimap and can choose the sharpness of objects.
NEGATIVES: Voices could be much better. but dialogue is written if you want the sound off. I found the floating book on the left to be a distraction. It was not always easy to determine from the inventory tray whether an object was still outstanding. It would be better if they changed the background or box outline color.
Overall, I like the game.
I recommend this game!

Special Enquiry Detail: Engaged to Kill
Help detectives Turino and Lamote investigate the case of the brutal bride murderer.
The story and gameplay could have been a lot better, based on the plot. It's like the developers missed a lot of tying together and there was no smoothness. Gameplay could have been more logical.
GOOD: If you hit "skip" for the dialogue, all of it will appear at one time, so it doesn't take so long to go through it.
BAD: Written conversation between the 2 cops keeps occurring at the most inopportune time. Graphics are dull. Gameplay itself is somewhat frustrating - no notion of where to go. You have to go to several places to get all the pieces for some items, with no direction. And the use of them is not logical. (Ex: the plaster for the footprint - the plaster is in one location, bottle of water and bucket in another. You can't put the parts next to the plaster to be mixed - has to be mixed in the tray by putting one inventory item on top of another, but there are no instructions to tell you that.)
Forget those long-winded stories and dive right into the HO scenes you love! 100% Hidden Objects gives you complete control over your gaming experience.
Don't know why people who dislike straight HOGs are even reviewing this game. Wastes my time when looking for reviews by people who are fair in their ratings. Liked that you could chose different types of locations, such as country, mystery, tropical and mosaic as well as word lists or pictures and can change at any time. Nice jazzy music. Clear graphics. The HOS were nicely detailed and colorful, but I seemed to always be looking for that last object. Also like that you can buy different types of hints with the coins you earn.
Incredible artwork. Skillful story. Logical gameplay. Really fun game. Interactive HOS are beautiful. One negative is that there is occasionally a black screen between scene changes - which shouldn't be the case these days. The graphics make you smell the scents - oh, sorry, that's my potpourri.
The artwork is incredible. And the story is different - instead of just mysteriously missing young girls, you encounter a disease spreading through the city while trying to find out what happened to them. The interactive HOS are gorgeous. I like that you can select an interactive map. One negative is that it takes too long to change scenes occasionally - there shouldn't be a black screen between scenes these days. Other than that, the production values are terrific.
