Cute story and lots of glitz – everywhere you look. Looks great on widescreen. Puzzles and mini-games aren’t that difficult and it's easy to figure out what has to be done next. Very well developed and polished game; a lot of thought was put into the adventure. Graphics and animation are top-notch – exceptional overall production values. Music is seasonal. An entertaining way to spend the afternoon.
I recommend this game!

Find out who killed the contestant and is now after the evidence and the contestant's wife. 3 modes of play. Fantastic graphics and terrific production values. Finely polished and mildly challenging linear gameplay - experienced gamesters can readily figure out what actions are needed next as they just flow naturally. Music appropriate to a suspenseful atmosphere. Puzzles are easy but fun. UV light to read balloon messages is a nice touch.
I recommend this game!

Adventure with a lot of FRAGs. [The last third especially seemed to have FRAG after FRAG as you’re looking to complete sets of inventory items.] Book has a map which shows where you are and supposedly other areas of interest (though I never had one show up on my map), list of objectives and information about the characters. Beautiful detail with gorgeous colors. Lots of locations for a theater. Your inventory tray gets quite full and there is a lot of backtracking in the last half of the game. It was a challenge to remember what locations had objects needing which inventory items.
Puzzles are unique; some mildly challenging. Also seemed like the majority of the morphing objects were in the last third of the game - I thought I'd missed quite a few, then suddenly there they were. Short interesting cutscenes tell the story. One of the characters had a very surprising development. About 6 hours.
I recommend this game!

It's not even clear when this story is supposed to be happening? The costumes don't seem to belong to any period but instead are a mishmash of several. Could use some artistry. Voice acting is terrible. Graphics not crisp and clear. Gameplay appears linear and simple - not much in the way of simultaneous tasks. Music is supposed to create a tense atmosphere, but is off. Not worth even playing the demo.
I don't recommend this game.

Beautifully crafted adventure story. About 6 hours. Nice combination of HOS and FRAGS in bright, brilliant colors – nothing drab anywhere in the scenes. Cute animation – for amusement, click on a few things that you think might have a reaction. Different music for outdoor and indoor locations. Your journal includes your discoveries as well as your tasks, frequently with a picture of the items needed and how to put them together to complete a task. Very polished and finely-tuned gameplay. Quite challenging.
Layout is easy to keep track of locations, which eminate from a central location. Many outstanding tasks at any one time, but they’re easy to keep track of because your activities are geared to their solution - no meaningless traveling or unnecessary steps to unnaturally prolong the game. You may find an object which will help you complete a task, but not find the other needed objects quite a bit later. Awfully fun and entertaining.
I recommend this game!

Demo is less than 1 hour long and ends just as you get to the good part. So even with your suspicions of the possible outcomes, you have to buy it to find out which scenario it is. So good mystery and adventure with a good mix of FRAGS and HOS - some are very bright, while others tends to be monotones. But all objects are crisp and clear. You have an interactive map and a diary with listing your current objectives as well as a journal of your findings and thoughts. Can't wait to find out which of my visions is right.
I recommend this game!

Storyline is a little confusing - why would someone be in a coma in a locked hospital which should have been condemned 3 or 4 decades ago and it apparently has no staff to care for patients. Aside from that, interesting game. Collect health packs to increase your strength to allow you to perform tasks.
Game is mostly adventure with the usual HOS, puzzles and skippable mini-games. You are given a map and a task list (which allows you to either see only the tasks or to see the steps needed to complete them). You must also have a complete set of any objects before you can use them to accomplish your tasks - something I find annoying.
Gameplay is pretty straightforward - you can usually figure out what to do. If you do use the hint, it will tell you if there is nothing to do in that area (which I like since it saves a lot of time searching fruitlessly). Graphics are quite detailed and there are a lot of things to do at any one time. Would rate it higher if it was in a nice, brightly lit hospital with a nice, active little town as a welcome relief to looking at drab scenery (which becomes a bit boring after a while).
I recommend this game!

Game is even better than the first Brink of Consciousness. This is one game where the voice overs are terrific and movements of the characters appear natural. I think V/Os are one of gamers’ pet peeves and the production team has to be specially commended for this effort. Graphics are spectacular; music relaxing.
Storyline is so intriguing that you can’t put the game away until you find out what happened. Very nice blend of adventure, HOS and puzzles. HOS are crisp and clear. Wide variety of puzzles that vary in difficulty. Map, although not interactive, shows you the areas of interest as well as where your current objective can be met.
Volume controls for special effects, music, voice and the environment. You can also control “film grain” but I didn’t notice any difference in appearance. Extremely polished and well thought out game. Well above-average production values in every phase. This will be one of my favs. It's a large file, but thankfully I have a lot of room still on my computer.
I recommend this game!

What a delightful game! You’ve been hired to find the prince’s true love with only her slipper as a clue. You find her early on, so you know there’s going to be a lot more involved here. Many fantastic locations and things to do. Bright, crisp and beautiful graphics. Personalize the game your way: set your own gamma value, choose whether you want special effects and set the volume for music, effects, environment and voice and choose casual, advanced or hard mode.
Pleasant voice-overs and an interactive map showing where you have actions to be currently taken. Moderately challenging “put objects into the HOS where they belong” – but it’s not always obvious what goes where. Nothing dull in this game. Upbeat music to go with an attractive, fun and entertaining game.
I recommend this game!
