I enjoyed the game play, storyline, hops and relaxed puzzles.
5 Chapters + Bonus. 13 hops in the main game and 4 in the bonus chapter. Collected 38 records. Found 17 morphs in the hops. After all the records are found the treasure hunt is unlocked. Not hard and revisited some scenes. The mega puzzle is a hop in the bonus content. Can replay 17 hops.
My favorite hops was a horned chandelier. The bonus hop I liked was the first one, it had all kinds of items from the main game.
The music is nice. Electric guitar. Can replay and download 13 music tracks. Speaking of sound. I really liked hearing the popcorn popper.
The bonus chapter is what happens after the main game and you have Mike, Big Jim and Martha again.
The details I liked was the disco ball in a bedroom. A pelican flying around.
The puzzles I liked was shooting and wished it lasted longer. Liked riding the rails. The elephant puzzle at the Magician's dressing room was fun. In the Bonus chapter I ran a forklift.
There was one puzzle in the hops section. It was second to last in the bonus chapter. It was fun. It's last in the replay. The achievements had nothing in it, in the end. I think that's odd. It should have something. No morph locations in the guide. I think it should be in the guide.
This was my favorite Cadenza game.
I recommend this game!

Based on the completed game and bonus.
I was really happy with the hops. They had 11 in the main game and 5 in the bonus chapter. The slide-ruled one was different because you put it over the top of a already there picture. No x-ray. The hops that you click two items like a duck was delightful. Don't forget the Platypus. Liked the Crustaceans. The bonus hops had a pretty one with fruits and vegetable. I just was really happy with them.
I liked fishing, you have to click the square you want to be in. The mazes. In the correct order. Matching pairs and match three. I liked the window puzzle where you avoid the spot light. And more.
My detail awards goes to the piano fountain, Japanese Maple, miniature millstone and the Triceratops.
I thought the prism of souls was good. You use it when you see a cat in the scene. They had unexpected things in it.
Only 14 collectibles which are skulls and carved candles. Would of liked more. Liked collecting the money to buy things again in this makers game. Hope they keep it.
The music is the same as in there other games. It sounded like puppetshow to me.
Wasn't crazy about the fights. Liked the match three. I knew who the killer was before the big reveal. I liked the main game more than the bonus.
Replay 16 hops, 16 mini-games, 11 movies and 4 music tracks. Achievements, 6 wallpapers, 6 concept art, 6 screensavers.
I recommend this game!

Basic on the full completed game and bonus chapter.
I know this maker is known to please most puzzle happy gamers and I'm into Hops. I buy from them for the stories. I counted 41 puzzles and 18 hops. These aren't replay numbers but the count I did while playing the whole game and bonus chapter. This is a hops game so it should have more hops. I know I keep saying that and I've been hearing echo's. My favorite hop in the main game was the flowers. In the Bonus chapter it was the treasure. I like all the Lupine flowers scatter in this game.
I love the Fantasy Games and this one has Elves, Dragons and Trolls. They have a chapter each. But they stay in there chapter until the bonus chapter and you see them again. The bonus chapter is what happens afterwards.
I really liked this game but I started dragging in the fifth chapter by Charles house. The regular standby normal for game play like straighten a bent key with a hammer is out the door and something never used before is put in. I just thought some things use or you couldn't use was irritating. You could say it was unexpected. Some thing you knew what to do but wouldn't work until they allowed it to work. It's not relaxed. Most of the time I would just try every item from the tool bar. I wasn't having fun any more.
Did all the puzzles wear me out? Some of the hops were too puzzle like. 41 puzzle and only 18 hops. I have to say the numbers again.
There was a lack of music. Right after a cut scene you would have music and it would disappear. I can't listen to the same music for hours but I think it should be there in case I want it or if any other gamer wants it.
I did like chosing easy or hard for puzzles and not having to make my selection every time a puzzle came. I liked having a decent amount of collectibles with indicators. The map works good. But some how I miss a collectible. A Card. The map is to indicate the location of a collectible and I thought I checked enough.
I liked the Dragons the most. I thought the female troll was different. Do Lemars like pineapples? I feed something cranberries.
The puzzles I like were the maze, ball clock or colored balls, animal heads, paint by number, Simon said. And more but not all.
I collected 63 Gold nuggets which I can use to buy things for the personal room. It's a shack on the water front. It sure did look better when I furnished it. You collect Gold nuggets all the way into the bonus chapter.
Collected the 12 artifacts which were too small to find most times and the guide's picture was too small to. So this wasn't fun. They have info on the items when you click on them in the bonus section.
I found only 13 of the 14 cards. It's the characters from the game and they have info on them.
Can replay 27 Video, 18 Hops, 20 mini-games, 5 music.
I Love to use the video down the road if you forget the game the video jogs your memory.
Achievements, 21 wallpapers and 20 concept art.
I don't know if I should recommend this game or not. I was enjoying myself for over half of the game. I don't know if the 41 puzzles wore me out or not. Or the puzzle like hops. You know in the guide it said Solve the hop. I guess I should be happy that they had some art filled pages with a list.

I bought this Oct 2016 and just got around to playing it. I was waiting for the Christmas games of 2017 and if they didn't come when they did I thought this game was not so dark.
I really liked it and enjoyed it till about the fourth chapter. Then it got to be more of a run around. This game isn't a breeze. I like some of the puzzles. Like the pinecone maze and matching.
Part of the hops are more like puzzles. I counted 18 hops in the main game and 6 in the bonus chapter. The best hops was the one where you feed herbs into the frogs mouths. The worst was picking a item after you read the riddle. Like- What do you throw out when you want to use it but take in when you don't want to use it? Wasn't crazy about that one.
I like seeing unique things. This had a couple crazy creature and I loved it. Like the lizard/spider.
You have 5 chapter + Bonus Chapter+ Hidden Chapter. Now you can not excess the Hidden Chapter until you have collected all 66 Familiars which are cute things with one eye like a powder puff. ( I had a great time collecting these) Collecting all 66 Familiars unlocks the Hidden Chapter. Now just know the hidden chapter is like one puzzle or hop, that's it so don't get all excited. I still don't know if it was a puzzle or a hop.
The bonus chapter is a prequel.
Can replay 15 Hops, 12 Mini-games and 10 Movies which is great later down the road to remember the game. Can save 8 music tracks. 10 Wallpapers.

I played the whole game, Bonus chapter and Hidden chapter. I found it enjoyable and the puzzles relaxed. Just the way I like it.
I counted 18 hops in the main game and 4 in the Bonus chapter. They have some new type hops that are like graphic novels. There are more hops in the later chapters. Some lists which I love, are used twice and I Loved how pretty they were. My favorite one is in the jungle and has a orange frog.
This is a fanasy game so if you want it true to life this isn't for you. You have a shapeshifter, wise man, like a voodo woman and evil spirit. If your not into this, this isn't for you.
Enjoyed collecting 72 masks. A nice number. I think that is two per scene and they are in the bonus chapter also. Some are easier than others. I had to use a magnfier on a few. You can go back and get the ones you missed but it's not real easy. You have to collect all of them to unlock the Hidden Chapter which is hops and jjigsaw related and very short.
The bonus chapter takes place 2 months before our main story.
I liked the throwback to another of their games. Whispered Secrets: Forgotten Sins was on their pinball machine. The art deco decor in the beginning is wonderful. The jungle is beautiful and the pet hummingbird is great. It's not your pet.
The emeralds are the wrong shade of green. The light green are peridot. A bird in the jungle kept saying bob white over and over softly. There is a boombox and frig in a hut. Do they do this to keep it interesting? Or is it just gameland?
They had like three matching in all the whole chapters, and I think they could have a lot more. Some in the right order, rune matching symbols, maze, loved the curse/antidote puzzle, baggage control puzzle, the claw machine and just all the fun one that you use your brain for. In my opinion, you use your brain for all the games on BFG.
I bought this game without trying it first. I loved the first one in this series. It was a gamble but it worked for me this time.
Quote " Stay indoors and avoid watching TV. I don't like to know much of the story line before I play and I skip reading them in other reviews. I think BFG has enough info for the story line for my taste. I only include info that I would like to know in my review.
Main game+ Bonus Chapter+ Hidden Chapter.
5 Chapters. Achievements, 32 Movies, 8 Music, 10 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art. Replay 15 Hops and 16 Mini-games.
I recommend this game!

There are dark scenes. The cut scenes have several lines through them. Have blur. It's analog not HD. Terrible looking. The hops are dark and blurry.
They need to update this game to the new HD standards.
The game is charming. Love the music. 11 hops in the main game and 4 in the bonus chapter. Lots of back and forth, normal to 2012. Three helpers.
The bonus chapter is cute. You have 7 brave cats and snow wolves. I got a kick out of it. Favorite quote "Mess with a cat and you get the claws".

Liked the storyline. This game in no way was fun. Pain in the behind. Pull your hair out game. Very confusing. It shouldn't even be in the hop section.

Based on the completed game.
Here I come to Oz and I only see the scarecrow. I help him and I'm all alone. I see people only briefly and all alone. I came along way and ditched my Aunt Em. Why am I all alone? Most of the time while all alone, there was no music playing. This is the first in the Christmas Spirit series.
This game should be in the puzzle section. There are more puzzles then the ones in the replay section. I don't thing I have all of them but I counted 29 in the main game and 13 in the bonus game. That's alot for a non-puzzle person. I did try and play most of them. If I wrote a review yesterday, it would of been dislike. 5 hours staight of mostly puzzles and I wasn't even finished. I had to stop for a while. The storyline went way to the back ground with all these puzzles. The last puzzle in the bonus took me 6 tries. But I always wait to review when I'm completely finished and I try out all the bonus material. I counted only 12 hops in the main section and 5 in the bonus. I thought they were harder than normal hops.
I don't like loud animals either in games but Toto was so quite most of the time I would forget he was there. Only used him about 6 times and if you grab him quickly not much bark. I didn't notice any wining.
The bonus chapter has Reggie, buddy and Santa.
Both new Christmas games has a witch. I prefer the other one for the fun, heart and storyline. This one is more serious and puzzle heavy. When I started again and finished it, I wasn't hating it. I went over the videos today and was liking it.
The game waited to almost the very end of the bonus chapter to have all 60 emeralds. I collected all 60 but I was wondering for a while if I got all of them. For the 60 emeralds you can put 19 items on your Christmas tree in the bonus. I only put on eight because that's all I wanted.
I collected 11 pages which went into The History of Oz. You would think history is the back story but this tells what happens after the story.
I collected 13 fireworks. In the bonus material they have 13 fireworks ready to fire. There are pictures on the fireworks barrel that indicates what firework will be in the sky with arrows to chose one.
6 Chapters + Bonus, Achievements, 5 music, 27 videos, 10 concept arts, 15 wallpapers.
Replay 17 hops and 18 Mini-games.
I know some of my review is already mentioned. We all played the same game and decide what we want in our own reviews. I can count just as well as anyone else and I did buy it. This is the information I would want to know if I didn't play the game.
Happy Holidays to All my fishy sisters and brothers!
I recommend this game!
