It's a supernatural game full of suspense and it's not gross.
The puzzles I like are the maze, jigsaw, color connecter, chess moves, labyrinth and cross the river with the boat and try to avoid whirlpools, lightning and kraken. The kraken got me about 15 times before I got through. Liked multi-step key lock code.
There is a morph in every hop and when you hover on the spiral it will let you know if you found it. 13 hops in the main game and 5 in the bonus chapter. 2 are slide ruled hops. Favorite bonus chapter hop was the treats table. The main story hop that was my favorite is the drawbridge controls.
The extras have 2 great treats. Shadow puppet theater which is a hop. Labyrinth which I liked. The Gallery has 18 replayable hops, 6 music, 20 wallpapers and 16 concept art. You collect in every scene a eye. If you hover over the eye symbol it will tell you if you found it already or not. Has achievements.
I didn't like the map. I was on the bonus chapter and was wondering what next and clicked the map it only had interest where I was and so I click hint and it took me some where else. I think the map should show you were you need to be.
The music is good but after hours I couldn't take the (5 note?) repeat.
The bonus is different. It's at Iron Gate Mansion and the year is 1902. It's about the lantern. It's good.
I recommend this game!

Haunted Legends: The Stone Guest Collector's Edition
Someone is stealing the hearts of children – literally! Is it a brilliant inventor, seeking to cure his ailing son? Or has dark magic taken over the village...
This game has a nice flow. Has map, but hint is easier to get around as map will list 5 different places that need attention. Lots of places to go. Back and forth. I didn't have any trouble with this. No custom settings, so very slow hint and skip recharging.
I was surprised and delighted a lot. Mice and duck are cute. The puzzles I liked were matching, maze, butterfly, organ and color the peacock. Didn't skip puzzles a lot except in the bonus chapter. Like Hops better and some puzzles were too time consuming.
The bonus chapter starts three days after the main ending. Was OK. Like the main game more. 14 hops in the main game and 6 in the bonus. Liked the pantry hop in the main game the best and stain glass windows hop in the bonus the best.
Extras- replay 12 Hops and 13 mini-games. 7 wallpapers, 5 screensavers, 11 concept art, 4 music tracks, 10 movies and achievements.
Older game from I think Nov 2012. No map and very slow hints. I had fun with it. I love the Hops with lists and this didn't disappoint in that department. 15 hops in the main game and 4 in the bonus chapter. Don't know why you only have 10 hops to replay.
I wouldn't play this game without the guide. Some time I didn't think it was working right and looked at guide and it just has to be done in a certain way. You would think a bent door handle could use a crowbar but it's wants you to use a rope tied to some thing, stuff like that. Lots of places to go. I didn't think it was bad. But some people can't take some back and forth. It's the older style.
What really got my interest was SG-saint germain. This answers why he looks like he does. I've played 5 newer and 2 older in this series, and had no idea.
The Bonus Chapter takes up were we left off on the main game. I liked the bonus. It took you under water. Take a good look at the portrait in the ship.
Have windows 10 pc and had 3 places that gave me trouble but I would just shut down and restart and I got through the whole game. I'm going to try reinstalling since I finished. It was worth it to me to play this interesting game.
Extras- 3 Screensavers, 15 Concept Art, 6 Wallpapers, 4 Music, 22 Movies (This I really Like). Replay 17 Mini-games and 10 Hops.
I bought and played for the first time, all of the Puppetshows this year. I've Liked or Loved all of them. Love the steampunk, puppets and crazy machines. Love the signature roses in their décor. This particular one has a under the sea décor in the bull shark tavern. Living close to Lake Michigan I have a thing for the sea even when I live close to a Major lake. But I've been to 2 Seas. They look similar to me. A rolling tide and a beautiful sunset.
I thought the game got even better the longer I played. 12 Hops in the main game and 4 in the bonus chapter. My favorite hop in the main game was the Bull Shark Tavern and in the bonus chapter my favorite hop was the coffin in the puppet cemetery.
Played match 3 a couple of times to charge a crystal. The puzzles I liked are maneuvering around from the bad guys, shield and target jigsaw, keys, avoid obstacles and get fuel on a moving scene. Liked throwing darts. Took me only 3 try's.
In Bonus content-Collected only 2 puppet dolls and lots of coins to upgrade 3 puppets. Always Love to see what they come up with.
The bonus chapter has to do with the Bull Shark Boss.
Replay 16 Hops and 19 mini-games. 6 movies, 10 wallpapers, 7 screensavers, 16 concept art, 4 music and achievements.
I really Loved looking at this game. Bright and soft Colors. Fire Orange, Crimson Red, soft purples and pinks. At least on my HD Led monitor. Lots of beautiful details. It's a work of Art. The details- Phillippe's house chandelier, Traveling Circus double decker trailer, Adalinda's trailer hanging stained glass lamps, Museum hall vase, Mechanical mouse and detailed pencil sharpener.
I liked the story and game play. I disliked too many puzzles in this game. They are the ones I don't like at all. Maybe puzzle lovers would like them. I skipped 19 of them. These I won't even use the guide for. I'm not a beginner. Been playing since 2010. Just not into these puzzles. I don't play for the puzzles and that's why I choose from the Hidden Object Category. I have all of the Chimeras' and Liked all of them.
There are only 9 Hops in the main game and 5 in the bonus. Two of the hops in the bonus only had only six items.
The Achievements are outlines of 22 circus performers. The best outlines are for the mini-games so I didn't get any of those but have the rest. This is nicely done.
The Secret Room has replayables- 14 Hops and 13 Mini-games. Also a Secret Game which are morphs confined to 4 rooms. It's timed. 4 Adalinda pictures, 8 Jean-pierre figures, 12 croissants, 16 oriental lilies, 20 pigeons and 1 chimeras. This was a great idea. I think they should have made it better. The morphs here are so small, so slow and faint. People wanted harder well here it is. It was so frustrating. It took me over 46 minutes to complete. Even clicking hint and it wasn't visible. Only the spot. I would see one and wait for it to morph again and you just wait and wait. I adjusted my Brightness/Contrast on my monitor and it didn't help. I'll take in plain sight any day over this. At least that would have been fun. This should be fixed or patched because it's so wrong. I want to enjoy this.
The Morphing flowers in every scene (27) were a joy.
Collected 12 Cards which has info referring to the past five games in this series.
Collected 36 puzzle pieces which in the end you put 3 puzzles together to make screensavers.
The old guides are very detailed and complete, even including Hops. Lately most guides have been lacking, which is sad. I think the guides need to step it up. This one didn't say what color square belonged to which collectible. I figured it out. But I shouldn't have to. It's a CE standard and we pay more for it.
Only 4 Chapters + Bonus. The Circus is the second Chapter. I couldn't listen to the same music for long before I turned it off. Which I do in most games unless I really like the music. Still can't listen to the same song for hours or same song for every hops. Why make it even louder on the Hops?
Still with all my complaints, I liked the game. Please try it for yourself.
Brand new Series is a winner in my book. I wasn't crazy with only one hop and that's because of limited sight. You had to use a flashlight to see it. The rest fit me fine. 17 Hops to Replay. So many great ones. My favorite in the main game was the fireplace and in the bonus it was the map. There are morphs in the hops but I kept forgetting about them and would find them anyways.
I almost liked every puzzle. I Loved the drone, photo squares, maze, boat.
The Bonus Chapter has Billy returning to do something for the girls. It's about the boy scouts. Fun little bonus.
Extras are 7 case files that you put together a small jigsaw and has info. Treasure Hunter find 32 items in the scenes. Collect 29 Mad Head signature symbol. Find 17 Morphs in the Hops. 13 Wallpapers, 18 Concept Art, 7 Soundtracks. Achievements. Replay 17 Hops. No puzzle replay.
I had no problems or delays with this game. It played smooth, I mostly knew what to do. No Blood. Not gross. Liked the collectible indicator, if you hover over the button it would say it's found, if it was. Great Game.
The end credit song tells you what you need to know about the bonus chapter. I liked the main game but not the bonus chapter.
I liked the story but had too many puzzles for my taste and a long load up in between scenes. I thought they should have a better indicator for the collectibles. I didn't enjoy the hops very much either. Too many story words that could be any thing, so frustrating and not as clear as a list would be.
Didn't have enough bonus extras either. No Replays. There are clouds over my extra the collectible so can't use.
The catacombs map took me 8 try's to get it. I liked the tracking female footsteps. They did have some interesting details like magnetic dog and pistol lighter.
I've never seen so many things moving at one time. I Loved it. Things would jump out or things on the wall would have a life of it's own. I Loved the motive of the people in the story and how they looked out for each other.
I Love the Extras of a CE. You have Morphs and Fears that Morph and More Morphs in the Secret Room.
I Loved the Bonus Chapter. I went to three different exotic locations. SPOILER ALERT. Treasure of Maya, Atlantis of Sands and Greenland.
I counted 12 Hops in the main story and 4 in the Bonus Chapter. I Love the art of the Hops. My favorites are the stone carvings and Phoenix. In the bonus my favorites are Katy's world and plant. I'm not crazy about finding pairs behind items and they had 4 of those. I Love seeing Elephants in Elephant games which I found 4. I Love list Hops and they had several.
I Loved the smooth game play. Most of the time I knew what to do. I Loved the throwback to three other Haunted Hotel games dealing with James. The three are Phoenix, Death Sentence and The Axiom Butcher. I'm a big fan. James looks different for some reason to me. Where is his bowler hat?
The puzzles are Fun. My favorite are the stone compass for tracking animals and people, disk, color disk, color swap and in the bonus- fill the container with colored balls, shoot balls.
Does any body like the tracing without touching the side? Not me. Luckily only one of those.
10 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art, 4 Music, 13 Phobias, a Screensaver, Achievements. Replayable - 16 Hops and 12 Mini-games. The Secret Room are Morphs that are confined to Four Rooms. They have 4 Spiders, 8 Clown Masks, 12 Snakes, 16 Contracts and 20 Keys.
This is my new Favorite Game.
I recommend this game!

Redemption Cemetery: The Island of the Lost Collector's Edition
You crash-land on an island populated by ghosts. Like them, are you trapped here forever?
The Hidden Objects has lots of jewelry. I wrote down my favorite and all through the game each Hop was my favorite. I counted 16 hops in the main game and 6 in the bonus.
There is a very cute raven helper. I didn't like most puzzles but found these fun- jig-saw, finding the letters, find objects with Telescope and In the bonus-the keys and the skulls.
The Bonus Chapter tied things up and was a Happy Ending. The main story has 3 main places and I wasn't thrilled with the third mainly because someone else should of been more invested than me and should of took the reigns. Especially since he made the thing I was to mess with. He just stood there. Just in Gameland I guess.
Extra has 21 pictures of the Creative process. MG is a shooting three in a row game like the Egyptian shoot game. Replay 18 Hops and 16 Mini-games. 11 Wallpapers, 11 Concept Art, 5 Screensavers, 11 Movies, 3 Music, Test- your personality in Redemption Cemetery, Chronicle which is an account of the people you get to know in gameland, Achievements and Collection that has a story you can read and puzzle to do from things you collected during game play.
I enjoyed most of the game and had fun. The game has heart. Try it yourself.
Lots of Extras- 25 Morphs, Collect 20 picture parts that make 4 pictures (no assembly required) Collectibles are business cards and paintings. They didn't say how many. I guess I could have counted them on the guide but I did not. I found 13 of these.
I had fun for most of the game but around the 5th chapter I noticed I had a lot of places to put items into. Then I was thinking it was this way for at least 2 chapters back. Then I counted 11 places that I had things to do, mostly put in the missing shapes. I was in the game alone most of the time and didn't have videos to add spice. Mostly just plugging along. The extras and the Hops were the saving grace. My favorite Hop was in the main story and it was a beautiful stained glass window. The bonus chapter on had 4 hops. The bonus game adds to the story. I did notice some thing was different with James but I can't figure out what.
I'm a Hops girl and this is a hops game so I skipped most puzzles but I did find a few I liked-pool balls, maze and shooting the ghost creature.
You can replay 15 Hops and 12 Mini-puzzles. 10 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art, 4 Screensavers, 4 Music and lastly Achievements.
