I've been playing this series since Fantasy 4, and unlike the earlier versions that gradually introduce you to more of the difficult puzzles, this #9 version is a challenge from the start.
I love the logic and the math in terms of deducing what spaces are part of the solution vs. "x". The background music is soothing, as it has to be when you're engrossed in trying to figure out these puzzles.
If you're new to Fantasy Mosaics, I'd try the earlier versions first before tackling this one. But don't let it inhibit you if you're up for a deduction, solve the equation challenge.
Normally, I find myself liking games that most others find 'meh'.
This game is different from the perspective that it takes place in TIbet and the visuals are beautiful. I'm enjoying the game for that reason, since I'm seeing something different than forests and sewers.
The story line is the aunt searching for her niece, and there is the requisite evil spirit in the form of dragons. The puzzles are not difficult, rather easy, and for hidden objects, they have items that morph, or you can play mahjongg instead.
It's a pleasant way to spend an afternoon or when you want to wind down. I would say better value in the standard edition given the easiness of the game.
The story is supposed to take place in Elizabethan times, and the settings and HOPs are good, except some of the portraits, including the character Edward, is dressed in late 18th, early 19th century garb. Toward the end of the game, the strategy guide goes haywire and you'll find yourself wondering about some items that you need to continue the game. You really have to pay attention to what you're doing and look at every scene carefully. Reason for my 3 stars. Could have better functionality, and the ending was disappointing.
I love Solitaire and I'm always looking for a new spin or storyline. Loved it and I'm only playing the demo. Fun cards, and good way to spend the lunch time hour.
In this ghostly continuation of the Fear for Sale series, you've discovered a luxury ocean liner bears an eerie resemblance to a ship that vanished years ago.

Storyline was not linear. Didn't really seem connected. Entertaining way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon, but you don't need the collector's edition to get you through the game. No monsters or dragons, thank goodness; we seem to have a spate of these lately.

Music is soothing, graphics are 19th Century Regency England, something different. Nice story line right out of the 19th Century. Game is not difficult, but you have to be strategic in how you play your cards. The deck is limited and never goes beyond 30 cards. If you want something a touch out of the ordinary, quite nice.

I love this game. There are three modes of play, and the levels are challenging but doable. You have to think strategically, and use your power-ups wisely to get through each level. The levels are divided into rooms, some at two or three but the most challenging are those at four. Twirling ornaments and holiday music make for a relaxing, yet stimulating time. The snowscapes you create as an added feature. A wintry scene that is beautifully out of Currier & Ives. Again, love this game as much as the Halloween "Spooky Bonus".

Fantasy story line without a lot of gore will keep you interested. Graphics are superb, characters are fun and well thought out. Many different levels of scenery and portals keep the story line going. HOP are intuitive and you have to use the objects in the right order to get your next piece of the puzzle. Really kept me absorbed for a chilly, cloudy afternoon.

What a great match 3 game and more. 100 levels of play, which you can do timed or relaxed. Great background music, noises, and graphics. Easily addictive. During the Halloween season, you can easily download one of the levels' wallpapers for your computer. Hauntingly good fun. You get assorted power-ups so that you don't feel as though the level will never end. Agree with all the reviewers, one of the best match-3 out there and a must-have for your collection.

I played the coffee bean tile version, and thought it was great. You catch on early that the more tiles of the same kind that you click on the higher your score. Music in the background reminds you of a jazz coffee bar, as well as the sound effects of espresso machines. Underlying stories of the different types of coffee drinks out there. Very good graphics. Overall nice experience and game
