This developer has a nice variety of paint by numbers type games, but Polygon Art is not great. I have a touch screen, so with the other games, I can move my finger, stylus/pen, or the cursor over the picture and start filling in shapes. Not with this one. Even with the stylus/pen, I had to click on each polygon One By One even if there were polygons of the same color grouped together. By the time I got to just the third picture, I had enough. This series is tedious at best and sadly misses the mark.

I discovered Joe's Clutter games a couple games ago and loved them. The variety of puzzles, variety of objects to match, and the number of puzzles make this a fun series. I was happy to see this had been offered. However, I found Ki11er Clutter to be very frustrating. There were just too many objects on my screen, and I found that I had very little space to move objects to in order to find matches. I recommend this game because of the quality of the game and the high level of effort that Joe puts into developing his games. Unfortunately, the fun has been killed for me in this one.
When a new Fantasy Mosaics is released, I'll play the demo with the hope that there is a new feature. Unfortunately, the game play hasn't changed in quite a few releases. It's not a bad game, just the same Fantasy Mosaics game as the many that came before #45.
30 minutes of demo time for a CE? When did this change, and will we only get 15 minutes when the SE comes out? It was hardly enough time for me to get a feel for the things to do during the game. There are many hidden object scenes, one puzzle, and something like a fragmented object puzzle. The scenes were a bit dark, so it was not easy for me to find these pieces, but you have to find the pieces in order to uncover a needed item. If I can get even 30 more minutes to play before the BOGO sale is over, I might buy it because it didn't seem to be too much of the same old game. For now, it's a no buy.
It was a nice surprise to see #11 in the series. You always know what you are getting, which is a good game that can be challenging at times. The family doesn't seem to age one bit, they always enjoy helping folks in the town and always enjoy the spirit of the season. I have not had any issues installing C++ for previous games in the series, so I had no worries installing the updated version for #11. It's a shame to hear that BFG is not abiding by their own rules on reviews. I'll be keeping an eye on where this goes.
This game has more mini-games than hidden object scenes, so maybe there should be a new genre besides HOPA. The devs have done a good job with the graphics and gameplay. I enjoy seeing characters from other cases again, but after 15 years of MCF, lets reward the Detective with a brand new case with brand new characters. I am wondering if the devs had made a wonderful, long game and were told to somehow split it into two in order to create The Harbinger and Crossfade. The description of Crossfade says that there are 4 timelines to fix. I played the entire demo in an hour, and it seems that the first timeline was fixed. Unless I am missing something, this will be a short game. I am on the fence about this game, and may wait until the SE comes out.
I have been searching for a good puzzle game, and I think I have finally found it. I am not really looking for anything difficult, but I can appreciate all the options that this puzzle game has, and the beautiful artwork. I wouldn't say that there is a storyline per say, but a theme. I also like being able to add my own pictures and turning them into puzzles, which I intend to do.
This game is as spooky and Halloween themed as the small dog, cute bunnies, and toothless vampire pictures you create in the first few levels. After 42 games in the series, I think the graphics took a step back, even after trying the various tile styles. There is nothing new, nor is there still much of a storyline. I would also like to see the dev add some grids larger than the 20 x 20, even if it's found at the end of a level, to give some challenge and something new to the 43rd game.
I usually try the demo and read other reviews to see if there is anything about the game that would make me think about buying the game. I would still recommend this game for those who love the series and relaxing mosaic/ nonogram puzzle games. I haven't bought a game from this series in quite a while, and I unfortunately won't be buying this one either.

At first, you might thing that the cute, bright graphics and storyline with animal characters would make for an easy, breezy game that children could also play. Instead, we have a challenging game with many objects that are quite hidden. The game is a basic HOG with a list of items to find, and a who-done-it detective storyline. After a couple scenes, you get a puzzle such as a matching game or swap puzzle pieces to complete a picture. I wish that that the sparkles would go away from the zoom zone when you found all the objects in the list. Also, some of the names of objects are noticeably mislabeled. On one level, I was supposed to find a screwdriver. Now, I have learned that some objects, like a spanner, can have multiple names. But when I clicked the hint, the object that I found looked more like an oval sponge than a screwdriver. For me, I would probably play it in relaxed mode, but I am really on the fence about this one.

I really liked playing the demo of this edition of Dark Romance. There hasn't been a good vampire storyline for some time now. I won't go into more of the storyline since others have already described it, but I enjoyed it. The voiceovers were very good, the graphics were clear, and the colors were nice. At least in the demo, there wasn't a gadget or helper animal, other than the trusted owl.
