I agree with the others in that ERS seems to have fallen into a rut. The Shadow Wolf Mysteries began well, however, this one is disappointing. The graphics were nice but looked rather cartoonish to me. Not much challenge in the HO's or the minigames. It is a short game even with the bonus level and boring. I regret having bought the CE. Voice acting was good. Storyline not so much. It was evident from the beginning what the outcome would be. If you are looking for a lazy, mindless way to spend an afternoon this is your game. If you are looking for something with more length, challenge and adventure look elsewhere.
Explore the vastness of a ship lost in time, what mysteries will you uncover amidst its Mayan idols, menacing sea creatures, and exotic treasures? Find out in this exciting new Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game on the open seas!
Need a break from the usual creepy house or kidnapping HOGs? This is the game for you. There are plenty of HOGs and different mini games in this graphic delight. Find hummingbirds, beyond objects and Mayan artifacts. Appease the angry Mayan gods and send a demon back to the netherworld. This game has it all. The voice overs were good and the music wasn't annoying. Graphics were splendid and hidden objects were very well drawn. No dark or tiny objects to find, just cleverly hidden. Spend a rainy day sleuthing out the mystery and enjoy! I knew I wanted to purchase this game before the demo was over. Can't wait for the next installment.
Although the story begins with the missing boyfriend, the plot surrounds the girlfriend. She awakens from the plane crash in a creepy bedroom and subsequently discovers that she is actually auditioning for the position of assistant to Harry Houdini's adopted son. What comes afterward is magic! How can she free herself and her boyfriend, if he is still alive, and complete all the tasks ahead of her? That will be revealed as the game progresses.
This is an engaging and entertaining game. HOGs were well defined and some of the reverse ones required a bit of thought. I couldn't say what the sound is like because I played without it. The graphics are good but not stunning. Gameplay is good but I didn't find it particularly challenging. The objective of completing a task is understood but accomplishing it may require a bit of sleuthing back and forth.
This is a game worth purchasing. It makes you want to know what comes next!
The Dark Parables series of Blue Tea Games are the best and this one is no different. It is another unique and dark twist on a fairy tale. This is not an HOG but a FROG which is a good diversion from HOGs. Graphics as usual with Blue Tea are stunning. I do not find it to be tedious and it flows well from chapter to chapter keeping you entertained while solving the game. You are pulled into the story and kept there. I highly recommend this game!
This FROG is another great Blue Tea game! The art is fantastic and the gameplay is fun and challenging without being tedious. In casual play, the hints refill quickly. The CE guide will get you through the tricky places. You have three options of gameplay and since I'm not as smart of most of you other gamers, I chose the casual play. This made the game relaxing but still interesting. I had to have this game before the trial ran out and I was not disappointed in purchasing it. I recommend this game as a truely exceptional, interesting and beautifully designed game. For fans of FROGs, this is a must have game.
