I read some of the reviews of this game, and they were excellent. I had tried the other game in this series, but didn't buy it. This time I had a coupon for a free game, so I took a chance. I was surprised that it was so enjoyable. Austin the butler is amusing, and I enjoyed the comments he made. Hey, this one doesn't take much brain power, but it was fun. I imagine you could play this any number of times and come up with infinite styles of decorating. Playrix games always have excellent graphics and cheery story lines. Only a few items were mis-named for those of us who speak English.

The story started out very slowly in the trial, but the reviews were generally good, so I used a free game coupon for it. Wish I hadn't. It never really picked up, and the story line was weak. The experiments were never really explained. I also tire of looking for items that are incorrectly named; I wish the developers would get a native English speaker to check this before releasing a game in the U.S. The graphics were very good - no dark, dreary hidden object scenes. You might like the game, but be warned that it is mediocre at best.

I played this game for the whole trial hour, and I enjoyed it. The graphics weren't all that grainy to me, but I have an excellent monitor. I usually turn the sound way down, so I didn't miss any voice-overs. The hints were not very helpful, but it made a very impatient player (me) think a little longer. I wasn't bored with the game, and I will probably buy it when it is on sale.

I was allowed only fourteen minutes of the trial game, and I am not an expert player. The game itself was just okay, but the English was bad. I wish the developers of these games would take the initiative to have them vetted by a native English speaker before releasing them. It really detracts from the experience when I find myself correcting their usage, or worse yet, deleting the game because of the language problems. (I am not referring to British English as opposed to American English, but incomplete sentences that appear to be pidgen English.) Try the game for yourself, but I will not be purchasing this one.
I don't recommend this game.

I'm biased, because I enjoy pure hidden object games, and I own Amazing Adventures: The Forgotten Dynasty, which I have played several times. This is a nice change from the dark and dreary hogs, of which I have quite a number. There are no grotesque things to find here, which is refreshing. In this game, you also find extra crowns in each scene; in The Forgotten Dynasty, you find yin yang symbols. This is a game, a pastime. You aren't saving the world, why get hung up on minor things? If you don't care for pure hidden object games, don't bother with this one. If you want to spend some time in a relaxed manner, go for it.

I liked the graphics in this game. It was nice and bright on my pc; maybe some of the other reviewers need to adjust the brightness on their screens. I don't care about the lack of voice over; I usually turn off the sound, because I find most of the music tedious, and I can read faster than the actors pronounce the lines. It was an interesting little game for the trial time. I play a lot of these games which are dark and depressing, so this one was a relief. That said, if you don't like hidden object games, don't bother.

I bought this game after playing the trial, so it is my own fault that I don't particularly like it. There is a lot of back-tracking, but that applies to many games. My main complaint is that the game ends abruptly and nothing is really resolved. The story could have been much better. The protagonist is searching for her sister, and we don't know if she was really located. The puzzles aren't difficult, but you have to guess at what is required for most of them. No voiceovers. I don't recommend it.

I played this game for the whole trial period, and I really enjoyed it. I like the idea of changing special articles, and the room changes that occur with different lighting. The HOS weren't too difficult, and the puzzles also. The graphics are excellent. Why would anyone worry about being prepared for the unexpected in a game that is just a flight of fantasy? That's what all of these games are for: a change from real life. I will purchase this in the SE, because I don't care about screen savers, and I can find the walk-through online. Try this game.

Apparently, I tried this game in the last year, because it had my name and only 44 minutes on the trial today. I have been playing these games for only one year, and I didn't even remember it at all. As has been said by others, there are absolutely no instructions. The music is monotonous and depressing. I got to the same point as last time (I used a different player name), but I could go no farther. The hidden objects are hard to see, but that's the case in some other games. By the way, I know what secateurs are, but only because I used to watch Martha Stewart! This game is not for me...and I'll try to remember that!

I bought this as a Daily Double, and it was well worth the money. I enjoy HOGs and this one didn't fail me. Sure, the puzzles were fairly easy, but I haven't much patience anyway. It took me two hours to complete, so it's a fun way to spend a little time. By the way, the scenes are much lighter when you are in the spirit world, and that was even explained by the ghost. I usually turn off the sound, because I don't like the monotonous music. Try the game.
