What a brilliant game:
You have:
* Casual, Advanced and Custom modes of play;
* Live Actors (they are really good);
* Voiceovers;
* Interactive HOS;
* Find 18 Morrissey Family keepsakes throughout the Bonus.
I played on Custom throughout the game and Bonus and didn't skip or hint any HOS or mini-games.
The graphics are very good and I didn't have any trouble finding the clues. There wasn't a huge amount of colour in the game but it didn't seem to matter. It was apt for the game.
There is only one piece of music which played quietly in the background.
The hidden object games are interactive. You find an object which goes into your inventory, which you use to find another object and so on. These are challenging and take a while to do, so great for all you experts out there. I really enjoyed these.
The mini-games are pretty easy and don't take long to do.
Even though there wasn't an interactive map which you see in most games now, you don't travel too far all at once and I never got lost or stumped what to do next.
The game flowed very well and I didn't stop long at one location at all. The story line is very good - adventure style and I was never bored - just the opposite.
I played for many hours on the game - I suppose about 6 hours all up. The Bonus is very short which I finished in about 30 minutes.
So overall a fantastic game and definitely worth playing. You will love it.
I recommend this game!

Not a bad game and I found it quite enjoyable.
You have:
* Casual, Expert and Professional modes of play;
* Live actors and voiceovers;
* Achievements board;
* Journal;
* Interactive map; and
* Find the Hearts throughout the game and bonus.
I quite liked the live actors. It made a nice change and they seemed to enjoy doing it. I noticed straight away what Shihtzumum said above about Sam looking like Justin Timberlake. She is absolutely correct. He DOES look like him.
The graphics are very good and I had no trouble at all locating the clues and Hearts. Sound is good. I didn't really notice the music.
Apart from the very first mini game which was quite hard to conquer, the rest of them were relatively easy.
The hidden object games were all very easy and didn't take long to do at all. There were a few new ones which I hadn't done before, so that was good.
It took me about 5 hours all up to do the game and bonus.
I think the developers did try hard and it will be interesting to see what they bring to us in the future. They are on the right track and hopefully the next game may bring us a bit more challenge.
So overall, I enjoyed the game. Not very challenging for experts but definitely recommended.
I recommend this game!

What an absolutely brilliant game and I loved every second of it.
You have:
* Casual, Experienced, Masterful and Custom modes of play;
* Achievements Boards - Bronze, Silver and Gold;
* Interactive map;
* Journal;
* Voiceovers.
You also have to find:
~ 34 Acorns (throughout the game but not the Bonus);
~ 5 Forest Fruit (throughout the game and Bonus);
~ 11 morphing objects (just the Bonus).
I played on Masterful mode throughout the game and bonus and I didn't skip or hint any HOS or mini-games. The game and bonus took me 8 and half hours to play all up.
The graphics are beautiful and very colourful. There are no blurry or dark places anywhere. Sound is excellent and the music is delightful - mostly piano.
The HOS were mostly interactive and quite challenging and I took my time playing them.
There were lots of mini-games and all were good fun. Some were quite challenging and others quite easy. The hardest mini-games were at the end of the game and bonus when you had to defeat the tree and the ghostly witch. They took quite a while to do.
Even though I played all HOS and mini-games, found all the acorns, forest fruit, etc, I still only got 46% out of 100% in achievements. There are a lot of achievements to get - you know the ones - 5 objects in 5 seconds, make no mistakes in HOS games, etc. So I'll leave the game for 6 months or so and then play it again.
So overall, a fantastic game and definitely recommend that you play it. It really is worth its weight in gold.
I recommend this game!

Best standard edition game I've played for a long time.
You have:
* Regular, Advanced and Expert modes of play;
* Voiceovers;
* Achievements;
* Diary.
The graphics are very colourful and bright - just like you are in a cartoon. Everything is easy to see and there are no blurry or dark places. Sound and music is very good and suitable for the game.
There are no hidden objects games but there are plenty of mini-games to play. All were very easy to play but I had so much fun. Really enjoyable.
There is so much to do and I never got bored at all.
So overall, definitely worth buying. GO HAVE SOME FUN and rescue the two prince frogs.
I recommend this game!

A good adventure game.
I had previously played Neverworld and Cadenza by the same developers, so decided to buy the earlier Rite of Passage games as well.
You have:
* Casual and Expert modes of play;
* Journal;
* Voiceovers;
* Collects 55 masks.
There is no interactive map in this game but you don't have to travel too far all at once and you don't get lost.
There is no achievements board here either, but honestly I didn't even miss it.
Keep an eye out for the masks. Some are very well hidden so I made sure I grabbed them first as I went through each scene. At the bottom of the screen the mask is "green" at each scene and when you have found it, then it goes black. Therefore you know then that if you have to go back to that scene then you know you have already got it.
The graphics are very good, apart from the cluttered HOS. Very colourful in most parts and I didn't see any blurriness.
The music played very quietly in the background and I didn't turn it down or off like I do in some games.
There are quite a lot of hidden objects games and you go to them twice. They are quite challenging and each one I did took a while. I enjoyed that. The HOS scenes are very cluttered and some items did fade away into the background but I got there eventually without using any hints. I just took my time. There is no penalty for misclicking, thank goodness.
The mini-games are fun and range from being easy to quite challenging. There's something in there for everyone and I played them all without skipping. Some I thought would be quite easy to do - WRONG. They ended up taking quite a while. So get comfortable.
The game flowed smoothly and I didn't spend too long in one scene because I was stuck, which was good.
The game and bonus took me many hours to play and I enjoyed the game.
So overall, definitely recommended. Its an older Mad Head game and even though it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that we have in their newer games, you can see that the talent is there and starting to blossom. Definitely worth buying.
I recommend this game!

A very unusual game.
You have:
* Casual, Expert and Hard modes
(You can disable hint and skip modes as well);
* Interactive map;
* Diary;
* Voiceovers;
* Achievements Board;
* Find 35 Quest objects (blue cylinders).
The graphics are okay - very colourful, but scenes are kind of cluttered. Sometimes I had to really look hard at scenes to decipher exactly what they were. You will collect a lot of items to use - things like tiles and gems - and it is really about where you have to put them which can be a bit of a challenge. At one stage I had about 15 items, but once you get to the right locations you use them fairly quickly.
I noticed that there was really only one piece of music and I turned it right down after a while as it got on my nerves.
You have two hidden object scenes in one go. As you are doing one, you go through a portal to do another. These are not hard and don't take long to do. Some items were well hidden in the background but not impossible to find.
The mini-games are very easy and I didn't skip or hint any. There weren't that many either when I think about it.
The game took me about 5 hours to play and I played another hour or so with the Bonus. This is with the hint and skip disabled and played all HOS and mini-games.
So overall, not a bad game. I think the developers did try hard with this game. Will I play it again? Probably not. I need more of a challenge and I think this would be perfect for beginners and maybe intermediates.
I recommend this game!

Good adventure game.
You have:
* Easy, Normal and Hard modes (you can turn off hint and skip puzzles mode as well to make it harder);
* Voiceovers;
* Journal;
* Interactive map;
* Achievements board.
You also have to find:
~ 9 briefcases;
~ 9 casino chips;
~ 9 tie collection;
~ 9 Statue of Liberty figures
~ 35 morphing objects.
Most of these are easy to spot, however as you look around for clues, a "hand" will come over them and you can grab these then. In case you miss any, then you can look in the interactive map to grab them later.
The graphics are very good - clear and precise.
Once again, the music is very good - adventure style.
In case you get really stuck, the interactive map lets you know if you still have tasks to do in that particular area. Therefore, I didn't need to look in the Strategy Guide at all.
The hidden objects games are interactive - find one item to locate another item and so on. These are very easy and don't take long to do.
The mini-games are easy to medium. Some take a while to do to get in the right order, etc. I enjoyed them all and was determined not to skip any. There are a wide range of games to play and I'm sure you'll find your favourites in there. I played a few new ones too.
I played for quite a long time - about 7 hours I think and about 1 hour with the Bonus. However, because I played on Hard [with turned off hint and skip puzzles], then it took me a lot longer to get to the end. I love this sort of challenge.
So overall a gun toting adventure game. Its not too hard or too easy and definitely no hand-holding.
Well worth putting in your collection. I'll definitely play this game again.
I recommend this game!

Wow, where do I begin.
You have:
* Novice, Artist, Virtuoso, Maestro or Improviser (customise your own);
* Voiceovers;
* Journal;
* Interactive map;
* Achievements board (there are many).
You also have to find:
~ 44 musical notes; and
~ 24 morphing objects.
In the extra box you have to find all the connections between the people involved in the story. So I had to really pay attention to their names and how they were all inter-connected throughout the game.
I played Maestro all through the game and bonus. There was no 'hand' or 'pointer' so I was going it alone. I love this because it is a challenge. However, you can change your mode of play any time.
The interactive map shows the places where there are tasks to do. So if you get really stuck you can look in there. Therefore, I didn't need to use the Strategy Guide at all throughout the game or bonus.
You also have to find the 44 musical notes throughout the game - one per scene. Some I spotted straight away and other times I really had to look hard. I looked for these first before anything else so I knew I had them. However, if you don't feel like doing them all at once, you can go into the Achievements Board and do them altogether later.
You can also play again all the HOS and mini-games as well. You can also listen to the 9 soundtracks again as well. I did this and turned it up really loud while I was working around the house. Loved it.
The graphics were fabulous. Very colourful and crisp. No dark or fuzzy parts at all. The music was to die for. Even if you don't like jazz, you will love this.
The hidden object games were easy to medium. You locate items to find musical notes and then lastly you find the item you need to carry on. There is one morphing object per HOS so keep an eye out for it.
There were lots of mini-games which were varied and very easy to play. I played them all and didn't skip or hint with any of them. Lots of fun to play - especially the darts game.
So overall, a wonderful game to play. Mad Head Games have done it again and I am applauding them as I speak. Well done. Honestly, you can't get better than this.
Well worth adding to your collection to play again and again.
I recommend this game!

Awesome game. I haven't had so much fun in ages. I wished I had got the CE version of this now.
You have:
* Casual and Expert modes;
* Voiceovers;
* Journal;
* Interactive map;
* Find 18 memory digital cards.
No bad for a standard version. Other than the Strategy Guide, we get everything a CE has.
The graphics are mostly very good and clear everywhere. In a few places it was a little unclear and a bit fuzzy, but then again we are on another planet and some items will be 'alien'!
The sound and music were great - both apt for the game.
The hidden object games were quite easy to do. However, you couldn't just rush through them either. There were a lot of them but they were fun and never boring or tedious.
The mini-games were fun as well. Once again, there were a lot of them, however they weren't too hard and I managed to do all the hidden object games and mini-games without skipping or hinting. Some took a while to do in get in the right order - like the constellations and the sliding tiles.
If you get really stuck and not sure what to do, look in the interactive map which will tell you where tasks are to be performed. This will alleviate any hair-pulling and excessive overdose of coffee!
Keep an eye out for the 18 memory digital cards. They are well hidden but a 'hand' will come up when it discovers one. I usually tried to find this first. However, the interactive map does indicate the locations of these cards if you need it.
The game is quite long. I must have been about 6 hours all up.
Overall, definitely recommended - especially for experts who want a challenge and have fun. There is definitely no hand holding here. Well done to the developers and, with a bit of luck, we'll get another one from them.
I recommend this game!

Very simple and basic game to play.
You have:
* NO modes of play - sparkles everywhere;
* A journal;
* Find all parts to the broken tune record;
* Voiceover at the beginning, but none throughout the game;
* Just one piece of music throughout the game.
This is an incredibly easy game to play and will be good for beginners.
There are so many hidden object games to play and all are very simple - they take less than a minute to complete.
Once again, the mini-games are very easy and won't take long. Things like turning on the lights and putting things in the right order - all been done before many times.
The graphics are not bad. Very colourful and I didn't have any problems finding clues or the like.
There is only one piece of music which plays quietly in the background.
Moving around is easy and you don't hold on to items for very long.
Overall, because of the sparkles everywhere and no modes of play, the challenge is definitely below par for intermediates and experts.
I recommend that you trial this game first if you are thinking of buying - I wished I had!
I don't recommend this game.
