* Regular and Advanced modes of play; * Voiceovers; * Achievements Board (12 of them); * Find 33 Postcards; * Play some of the mini-games again (8 of them); * Gain powers from all the kids you help.
I really loved the HOS. In some instances you have to put back items which were trickier than you think. You also have the straightforward HOS as well. Everything was crystal clear and not too cluttered.
The mini-games were mostly quite easy. Only one had me working hard and that was putting the fire flys into the jar. Much harder than I thought it would be. Slowly got there in the end. I'm sure you will find some of your favourites in there as well.
It was fun using the powers the children gave me for helping them and we get to use them quite a bit.
The graphics are perfect - you can see everything clearly.
There was only one piece of music which restarted over and over again, so I turned it right down in the end.
Overall, quite a long game and the bonus was fairly lengthy as well. I didn't skip any mini-games so that may have made a difference.
Experts may find this game a bit easy, however it is fun and definitely worth buying.
Your grandfather disappeared while searching for Inuits' legendary treasure. Travel to the Arctic to find your missing grandfather and solve the Inuit mystery.
This is another gem and you get all the bells and whistles of a Collectors Edition and only pay for a Single Edition.
I have also played 'Questerium - Sinister Trinity' by the same makers and recognised a couple of actors in this game. I wonder if this is their full time job and how can I apply? What a job aye - would love it.
You have:
* Live actors; * Voiceovers; * Casual, Expert and Adventure modes of play; * Diary with interactive map; * Achievements board in the igloo.
You also have to:
~ Find 18 morphing objects; ~ Find 10 relics; ~ Collect coins to buy toys for the penguin in the igloo.
I really enjoyed playing this game. The graphics are superb and easy to see everything. The music is like an adventure movie - loud is some places and quiet in others.
The HOS are easy to medium to find, but if you don't fancy HOS then you can play puzzles instead. I played half and half.
There are plenty of mini-games to play - some are easy and some will make you think and take a while. I played them all without hints or skipping - so they can't be too hard or frustrating.
The game is quite long - about 5 hours I think. I'm not a fast player and like to explore everywhere in case I miss something.
I managed to find all the relics and morphing objects - but keep an eye out because a few were well hidden. CHECK EVERYWHERE.
So, definitely recommended. Its a fun game and well worth putting in your collection.
* Casual, Advanced, Hardcore and Detective modes of play; * Achievements board - 17 of them; * Interactive map; * Collect 15 Mr Toads; * There are morphing objects to find to top up the thermometer - watch carefully for these; * Video machine to watch videos which shows pieces of the story.
I played in Detective mode through the game and bonus. Wow it was hard. There is no 'hand' or 'pointer', so you have to guess where items and clues are. It took me a really long time to finally finish the game - DAYS! I love games like this.
The game has a really good story line and is easy to follow. The characters are likeable and there is a fair bit of humour in there too. Made a laugh a few times.
Make sure you find the morphing objects because you don't want to die from the cold. This will top up the thermometer so you can carry on playing. You can turn this off, but I didn't want to.
The HOS and mini-games are very easy to play, so no frustrating moments.
The graphics are superb. Everything is crystal clear. Audio is great.
I had a look at the Strategy Guide when I was playing the bonus and everything looked fine.
I most definitely recommend this game to everyone out there. You will love this game. Go on, put it in your collection.
Once you find these you get keys to open the locks. You then have to put back items.
You also have to find a lot of fragmented pieces to get the item you need. You will be doing this a lot.
The HOS are quite cluttered so you have to look carefully.
The mini-games are easy, so you won't be hindered for long.
Overall a good adventure game. I played on expert all the way through. I tried the hint at the end and it worked okay. Had a look at the Strategy Guide and all seemed okay as well.
Its quite a long game which I did over the course of the week. Haven't done the bonus game yet but will do so shortly.
Definitely recommended for your collection.
I recommend this game!

Namariel Legends: Iron Lord
Escape prison, defeat an army of mechanical soldiers and destroy the Iron Lord’s dark power!
There are Regular and Expert modes of play and an achievements board.
You also use the Mindscope to read minds.
There are no HOS in this game but plenty of mini-games and believe me they are all great fun. I played them all with a goofy grin on my face (not pretty!).
The graphics are great - very clear and easy to see.
The music is good - adventure style music.
I loved all the characters - each one very eccentric in their own right - but so cute. I had a smile on my face virtually the whole way through the game.
I definitely recommend this game. Its a good old fashioned adventure game that can be played by all members of the family - young and old.
* Regular and Expert modes of play; * Voiceovers; * Diary; * Map (but not interactive); * Achievements Board (40 of them).
You also have to find:
~ 20 house photos; ~ 10 of your father's secret cards ~ 10 light switches.
The interactive hidden object games are easy to medium to play, but because everything looked kind of 'brown', it was hard to see some items.
Once again, the mini-games were easy to medium. I've seen them all before but some were fun.
You don't have to go far to use your items in your inventory.
I found the graphics to be rather faded and dull which made things hard to see and I grew bored with it after a while. However, I persevered to finish the game because I hate leaving games half way through. I didn't bother with the bonus play.
I think it best that you demo the game first to see what you think. I didn't do this, but its not like I regret playing the game - its just that it didn't do anything for me. When I get mentally bored with a game, I just like to move on.
I'm recommending this game only because I think some people would like this type of play, but sadly I wasn't impressed. See what you think
I really enjoyed this game and there is lots to do.
You have:
* Voiceovers; * Casual, Advanced and Hardcore modes of play; * Interactive map; * Achievements board [there are 10 of them].
You also have to find:
~ 20 puzzle pieces; ~ 33 squirrels; ~ 9 collectors; ~ Pieces of the amulet to kill demons.
I played in Hardcore throughout the game and bonus.
The hidden object games are interactive [and there are even mini-games within them as well]. Its easy to see everything and they are not hard to play. You find one object to use to find another object, etc, etc. There are also straightforward HOS as well.
There are many mini-games to play and once again they are very easy. I didn't see any that I hadn't played before. Most were fun and I'm sure you will find your favourite ones in there.
The graphics are gorgeous - they are clear and bright with no dark or grey blurry areas.
There are 6 pieces of music which are nice and play quietly in the background.
You can replay videos or pieces of music again if you wish.
The story flowed well and the characters are likeable.
The game is very long. It took me about 8 hours to get through the main game and about 1 hour in the Bonus.
As an expert player, I didn't need to refer to the Hints or Strategy Guide, so unsure how well these work.
So overall, a good adventure game. A bit on the easy side for an expert but I think that beginner and intermediate fishes will love this.
Here you get everything for a Collector Edition but only pay for a Single Edition. Thank you BFG.
You have:
* Casual and Expert modes of play; * Diary; * Interactive map; * Achievements cupboard [there are 8 achievements]; * Bonus game; * Secret Room.
Now, to open the Secret Room you need to get:
~ 25 secret symbols if you play Casual mode; or ~ 35 secret symbols if you play Expert mode.
Would you believe it - I played in Expert mode throughout the game and Bonus, but I only got 33 secret symbols - doh! So I can't yet tell you what's in there. Some of the symbols did look different so maybe when I was searching around I didn't realise what they were. Anyway I will play the game again at some stage to find out [I'm hanging my head in shame cause I should have known better].
The graphics are very good - you can see everything well.
The audio was good and there are 6 pieces of music - all non-intrusive.
There are many hidden objects games which are interactive and mostly easy. There were a couple of items that were well hidden which took me a while to find.
Once again, there are many mini-games to play. Some were easy and some were medium to hard that did take a while to conquer. My favourite was the darts game - really enjoyed that one.
I think the game took me about 6 hours to play and about 90 minutes in the Bonus - so a long game and well worth your money.
All in all, a really enjoyable game and definitely recommend that you play it. I'm sure there will be many HOS and mini-games that you will enjoy.
Look after and feed fun 3D fish and watch them play and interact with each other as you complete exciting match-3 levels to earn money for decorating your aquarium!
Quite a cute and enjoyable game. I like to play this game when I'm worn out playing large adventure and HOS games. Its easy to play and not have to think too hard.
I love getting the new fish into the aquariums and building up a nice place for them to live. They are sooooo cute and interactive.
The graphics and sound are great - no problems with anything at all.
There is so much to buy for these fishies - so the better you do with the Match 3 games then the more you can buy for them.
The Match 3 games are not difficult. However, I will play the same game until I reach the gold status so I can get more points to buy things. This may take a few tries, depending on how tired I am. Concentration helps doesn't it!
I think I'm up to Level 80 now - last time I looked. Even when I finish the game, I will probably just start again. Its that sort of game really - enjoyable, interactive and easy.
So go on, buy this game - you will enjoy it. Adopt some little fishes, name them after your family and have some fun.
I've almost finished the game, but got stuck and decided to do a review on it.
You have:
* Voiceovers; * Casual, Advanced, Hardcore and Custom [make up your own level of challenge]; * Achievements Board [there are 18 of them]; * Zoo in which you find coins and then bring the stone animals back to life which is quite nice; * A shop to buy for your Crucible and Panel; * A Dossier of all the people you meet in the town.
I have played in Hardcore all the way so far. You can change your mode of play any time.
You use the crucible to bring things to life which are coated green so you know when to use it.
The graphics are alright, although a little cluttered. You can see everything clearly though and I had no trouble trying to decipher what things were.
The sound is good, with 5 pieces of music done by an orchestra, although one piece of music cuts out quite suddenly.
The HOS are interactive and not too hard. However, you have a choice of playing Match 3 or Puzzles if you don't feel like playing HOS all the time. This was good fun. I played half and half because HOS can get a bit boring after a while.
The mini-games are very easy and I finished them all quite quickly. There was nothing that we haven't all seen before.
There are a lot of items to collect [especially keys] in this game and a lot of running around, but you have the interactive map if you want it.
So all in all, not a bad game. I am about to go to the Strategy Guide to get some help cause I have lots of items in my inventory but for the life of me cannot find anywhere to use them!
