Wasn't sure at the first cut scene as thought it was going to be a bit 'same old', but it isn't. The best way to describe it is quirky! The puzzles vary from the norm and although they are not overly difficult, they are fun! The HOS are straightforward but not too many which is great. Love the travelling through mirrors to another world!
Excuse me now, I have to get back to rescuing Susan! lol.
I only played 30 minutes of the demo then deleted.
The game was too slow for me, storyline didn't grip me, puzzles very easy and too many HOS in a short period of time. You can choose to do match 3 instead which is good but not enough to keep me interested I'm afraid.

Loved the storyline, it had me hooked from the beginning! Beautiful scenes which suited the mayan theory to a tea.
Puzzles were not overly hard but varied in type which was good. The HOS were interactive and the nice thing was you can decide to play mahjong instead which suited me down to the ground as there are a LOT of HOS, so stopped me from getting frustrated at the number of them.
Lots of places to go, so thank god for the interactive map, which also showed tasks to do.
Took me just over 4 1/2 hours to complete entire game and bonus chapter which is a good length imo.
Loved the title so played the demo..lol..and bought the game.
The storyline is nice, a departure from the really dark sinister stuff of late, altho I suppose it is a bit sinister in the end..lol. I liked the interaction with lots of other characters.
No HOS as such but you do have to find things throughout the game to move forward and some of them are quite tricky to see. The puzzles are not hard but they are varied and some more unusual ones.
The game took me under 3 hours to complete so quite short overall, but fun nonetheless and well worth a free game coupon!
This game is really different in that the HOS are part of the adventure, you get to take pictures and put together newspaper articles. All of this had the potential to be great and a complete departure from other games I have played recently. So why wasn't it? Well, it was all a bit slow, both in terms of the gameplay and the responsiveness to mouse clicks. You were not really sure what you were supposed to do with some of the puzzles and others were quite repetitive..i.e. fit the pieces together. All in all it lacked the sophistication we are used to seeing ....pity.

I played about 40 mins of the demo before I deleted. I was just bored! The graphics were grainy and dark, the puzzles were not challenging and all the same as we have seen so many times in other games. The HOS were okay and were interactive but again easy. Not for me I'm afraid.
Prepare for a mind-bending journey into the realm of the weird in Haunted Halls: Revenge of Dr. Blackmore! Brace yourself for the unexpected in this exciting Hidden Object adventure!
A really good game. Good length of main game and interesting bonus chapter.
Graphics good and storyline gripping. Good HOS and puzzles although not overly challenging, they did make u think. The only downside for me was about 3/4 of the way through the game; In order to get the items you needed, the number of HOS seemed to increase, it was almost like the devs ran out of steam at that point and its something I really dislike in a game. Apart from that really enjoyed it overall!
I recommend this game!

Experience an incredible space adventure in E.P.I.C!
I gave the game a go having read the other reviews and really pleased I did. The storyline is a different and although not the best graphics, they don't distract from the game imo. The puzzles varied in type and level of difficulty which was fab and the HOS really had you looking! The adventure itself was straightforward for the most part but there were times when I had no idea what I was supposed to do next, so had to think...lol.
A really good game which offers just the right amount of challenge for a lazy afternoon/evening.
Hooked me from the outset so I bought before I had even finished the demo. I loved the twist in the traditional fairy tale....girl power..oh yes! lol. Graphics, puzzles etc exactly what you have come to expect from these devs....a pleasure to play!
A good long game plus bonus chapter. I really liked the fantasy storyline, which was quite different from anything else I have played. The HOS were bog standard with no interaction and relatively easy, but the puzzles were different and they varied in level of difficulty which was great.
The game scenes were very colourful and lovely to look at, the cut scenes however were a different matter. They were supposed to be 'real people' but the facial expressions etc were really quite bad. For that reason I am giving the game a 4 stars cos other than that it was fab!
