I own both previous games and found them to be some of the most enjoyable games ever. I knew this one would be good too. It sure is! From storyline to great HOs I was not disappointed. The "custom" play option is a great addition. I like my adventures easy and enjoyable, with the option to increase the difficulty level anytime or for the game replay. This one fit the bill and I whole heartedly recommend this as a "Buy Now" software. Enjoy!
I loved this game. The gameplay was great and the visuals were excellent. Mini Games were different and most importantly for me, the HO scenes were varied and brightly lit. This group of developers has a formula that sings, "Enjoy the fruits of our labor with just the right amount of difficulty. I'll be purchasing this game a soon as BFG has a great sale!
I recommend this game!

I own so many BFGs that I look forward to new ideas. The storyline is predictable and witches are always overdone in the Good vs Evil genre. Overall, the most important elements used in this HOG adventure are enjoyable. The HO scenes were excellent and great for replay. The level of difficulty is in your hands, as are the mini puzzles. I didn't feel that the game was so similar that I wouldn't enjoy it and I wasn't disappointed to add this game to my many HOGs and Adventures. I recommend it highly.
I stumbled upon this game without trying the first version available. It is so much fun for the littlest family member to the youngest at heart. Yes, it is a typical Hidden Object Game with tons of fun animals and items to find. The games are easy enough to enjoy without making you feel like you're in Kindergarten. Spend some quality family time with this enjoyable game.
And that is just the start of this enjoyable Hidden Object (HO) Adventure Game. Engaging story, graphics and music. I feel it's the best of this year for this, always impressive, game software company. As a fan of "Game of Thrones, Fire and Ice Trilogy", I was not disappointed with this, HOG Fantasy Adventure game. I Rated it: PG 13 for Violence. (in the Demo Available). Many thanks to those who left Reviews. I enjoy reading them.
I recommend this game!

It took me about ten minutes to decide to purchase this gem. The graphics are lovely and the hidden object scenes were wonderfully interactive, which is my idea of fun. Although the storyline is not unique, it is well done and still interesting. As a HOGamer, I give it rave reviews. Daily Magic has improved upon the older "Dimensions" programs: City of Ash, Wax and Fog, which I also purchased before the trial was over. The "Dimension Series", from Daily Magic, is aptly named - another magic adventure for beginners to experts. Not for youngsters because of the scary scenes. Stays true to the reasons that I enjoy this type of game: stunning and realistic graphics, lots of action and fun mini games. I will play the hidden object scenes and other extras again. I usually wait for the SE of a program, but I will not wait to own this gem. Definitely, a 2014 program of the year contender.
I usually jot down notes while playing demos and I began with: dead patients, ghosts, creepy abandoned asylum? Rate this R for Violence. It did have bloody cartoon figures being dragged away and a rather comic female zombie, sulking behind our heroine. The opening sequence had promise, but went steadily downhill. The demo lasted 54 minutes. I was looking for another CE to use the "Buy One, Get One" special pricing, that I love. I was hoping it was this game - not so much. Everything was flat and dark. I supposed it was to emphasize the deep red blood puddles. The bugs didn't even creep me out! It felt like a very old game, before bells, whistles or realistic graphics. It did have scary dolls which always give me the creeps, so I did get a little rush? I even played it alone in the dark. Sorry, I know how much work goes into game development but I can't give it more than an average rating and that would only be for a SE not a CE. I am glad that so many people really enjoyed this game. The "molasses" remark by another reviewer, made me laugh out loud. Scary - not so much.
I'm alone, I guess, with this review. Great story, sound and graphics. However, I found myself using the Hints more than I like. I missed the what would be awesome HOPs very much. I felt that I was playing an adventure game, which I really dislike. So for an owner of 100s of these games, I found that this could have been a five star game with more hidden objects and less strain on my pea brain. If I want adventure, I read a book or watch TV. Sorry, these guys are superb game developers, but missed my mark on this game. I would buy it as a SE, but not the CE.
If you've played the last two or three? Midnight Mysteries games, you will see the exact same intro, characters and game play. This one, though, is the very best. With top notch graphics and audio, I blew through the Demo before I knew it and purchased right away. I highly recommend it and at half price, don't miss this fun Hidden Object Adventure program for the entire family. A bit of education rolled in a game - that's how I like to learn.
I love Hidden Object Games and this is almost entirely a HOG. It's for all levels to play to some degree. I knew it was all HOs because I own the original game. This was about the same in fun and difficulty, but seems I could have finished it in the trial period. I wanted more for my money and so, I was disappointed that I even purchased it. If you want it just for Easter Day, it's worth buying it. Otherwise, pass on it and you won't miss anything special.
