Of the hundreds of Hidden Object Games (HOGs) that I've played, this game actually had a strong storyline. The HOs were many and easily seen - not hidden or piled with other objects. The Casual Mode is leisurely and fun for all except young children. The plot involves saving a lover's life with the energy sources of others! Of course, the others will age and die. Not a great option for those selected for this Frankenstein-type story, but excellent for a creepy game. This is a foreign product and I was surprised that they had such a good grasp of our language and idioms. I bought it after the trial and I am very pleased that I did.
I recommend this game!

Find the festivalgoer abducted by the gargoyles of Notre Dame and uncover the cathedral’s dark past in this reimagining of the Victor Hugo’s classic tale.

I rec'd this HOG for Beta testing. I played about an hour, when the program says, more or less, if you want to play again to beat your time, go ahead and play it. I yelled out loud! I didn't even get back to the Stonemason shop. I have to buy this to finish this great HOG. With many creepy gargoyles (alive!) attacking you. You get a cute little monster to guide you, too. Buy it! You'll love it.
I recommend this game!

In my opinion, this is the best City Adventure yet. It wasn't just a straight HOG. The addition of a lovely, interesting adventure and fun mini games and puzzles with deciphering codes and exploring ancient artifacts, breaks with the straight HOG tradition and expands upon the newer, fuller Adventure type HOGs. Jolly good game, Chaps!
I recommend this game!
